The Good Mixer is already one of Camden’s most iconic pubs, with so much music history behind it, and now Papa Ji has made it even better.

The chicken absolutely lives up to the hype. Bold, punchy flavours, perfectly cooked and genuinely different from your usual pub food. You can tell real care goes into it. It’s not just “pub grub”, it’s proper, award-winning cooking.

The pub itself has loads of character with a jukebox, pool table, live music nights, and it still feels like a proper local despite its legendary status.

If you’re in Camden, skip the obvious tourist spots and come here instead. Great atmosphere, great food, and a venue with real soul.

Had such a great experience at Papa Ji in Camden Town! The food was full of flavour and felt both comforting and exciting at the same time. The wings were incredible — perfectly cooked, juicy, and coated in the most delicious sauce that had just the right kick.

And the chocolate samosas… wow. Crispy on the outside, rich and gooey on the inside — the perfect sweet ending. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to whenever I’m in Camden!
