As it was already said twice before, I think this company is a scam! I was very impressed with the way the new watch looked so I paid the deposit but I also made the mistake to place an order. And pay for it! And after that, I have wrote them 3 times until now and I have no answer! I am afraid that I will lose all my money and will not receive any watch!... I was so happy to be buying this as a gift for my husband... Can someone tell me if they could contact them?

Refundable Solstice deposit ignored despite repeated requests

I paid a £20 reservation deposit for the Panther Solstice. I decided not to proceed and first requested my refund on 31 August 2026, then explicitly confirmed cancellation on 1 September.

I followed up several times and have received no acknowledgement and no refund. During that period Panther has continued sending me promotional emails encouraging me to complete the purchase.

I have now had to pursue the payment through my bank.

My concern is not the £20 itself. It is that a company taking deposits from customers should be capable of acknowledging a straightforward cancellation and refund request.

Based solely on my own experience, I would not currently be comfortable paying Panther several hundred pounds for a product.

Panther Technology have an existing fitness tracker on the market named Eclipse. At best it gets mixed reviews. A few months ago they pre-launched a new smartwatch with impressive specifications named Solstice. A US$20 deposit secured an option for the "Founders" offer to buy the watch for a US$200 discount. Fully refundable.
Sales went live 1st Sep. No evidence of a working product and no way to claim refund. They require full payment at order time, contrary to information given earlier to pre-pay depositors about payment due on shipping.
They do not respond to email queries and there is no other way to contact them.
So an audaciously cutting edge specification (there is no product available currently that matches the features they advertise) taking payments in advance, not responding to requests for information, not responding to requests for refund.

No demonstration of any operational product 3 months from volume shipping.

I'm waiting on my deposit refund, but I'm not hopeful. I am worried for anyone who pays the full amount for the product without evidence it exists.
