Talks bulls poo full of crap !! Will take your money and that's that !!

I purchased an bike kit back in September 2018. The reason I am leaving a two star review and not a one star is that it worked fine for about 8 months. The problem with panda bikes is they do not care about their customers and they do not honour their warranties.

I wasted a lot of time filling out their support form and emailing and attempting to phone them (the only phone number I found doesn't work). Even though I received a response during the purchasing process, the same email address was ignored when I had a support request. Initially I just wanted the problem troubleshooting, I wasn't asking for replacement parts even. I tried an online complaint resolver which was a a waste of time, and I tried credit card chargeback as I had bought the kit on a credit card. This wasn't as straightforward as I had hoped because it was a DIY bike kit and I needed a professional independent report at my own expense to prove the components were faulty with the bank unable to provide any help in letting me know what they wanted from this report. It would have been quite a risk and more time wasted to continue with this.

Ultimately the only avenue I am left with is legal action, which is kind of absurd. It might be a quick issue for a small claims court to resolve but the kit cost only £350.
The summary of this rambling story is that you can buy their kits, just don't expect them to last, and definitely do no expect any help from them if something goes wrong.

I’ve ordered a Swicth kit to Brompton on 8 October, I had paid and did not receive yet the kit .
I had write some mails and no response at all.
I would like to know watt is the problem.

Ordered Brompton electrice kit, so far cant get in touch with them phone number doesn't exist email they don't answer, charge back section 75 get my money back, do not use panda bikes. Contact me so i know whats happening. Panda ebikes

I was so in love with the idea of converting my bike into an ebike using one of Panda's kits. But it's been a mess since the beginning. We had delivery issues and difficulties at the start. Then when I tried assembling the kit myself I had a problem. I don't know if it's a hardware issue or something I'm doing wrong, because Panda don't reply to emails. Of the ebike dealers who are listed on panda's website, several of those contacted did not work with panda anymore and wouldn't help out. More than one said they'd met a few unhappy panda customers.

I'm stuck with an expensive boondoggle I can't use and can't return. Seriously depressed about it. This was supposed to be great. Wish I'd never bought it.

We requested a part. After weeks of silence despite chasing - nothing, apart from...

I'd take the favourable reviews with a pinch of salt. We were offer a free part in exchange for writing one.

Super company, excellent phone advice and their customer service is second to none, I would recommend them without hesitation.

I received an email confirming that my order has been placed an that I needed to make payment. Made the payment and have heard nothing off the company at all, no email confirming payment and no replies to emails where I've queried this, I have tried ringing the company but get no answer and when they did answer its someone who says he has never heard of the company. I want my mone back an would love to finally here back from someone from within this comapny

If you can go elsewhere, do so.

Some of the parts are over priced and of poor quality, for example brake sensors; 2 core wire + plastic housing + magnetic switch = £35 for two. Not good value and they fall apart.

Customer service is shockingly bad as well.

Terrible service...sent my motor back for warranty repair ....will not answer emails on repair now have a bike which is useless as they have kept my motor.....Don't touch with a barge pole

Excellent customer service, I was kept well informed about my orders progress are received all the parts promptly. The Panda-250 PRO conversion kit was easy to fit to my recumbent bike and has cut 25 minutes off of my 16 mile commute!

To be honest I am very critical when it comes to using Ebikes. I have used almost all sorts ebikes, ranging from low grade to very costly ones. I happened to stumble on the Panda 1000w kit.
This is not just a common kit in the market. If you are looking for a long term, heavy duty kit, this is the kit.

Pros
Most 1000w kits in the market don’t really ever provide the real speed they promise and never really give up to 1000w. The panda kit delivers it all.
I have heard people say the panda kit always seems to be in high power even at level one. This is true but it can be adjusted in the settings by simply reducing the current.
In reality I did a comparison with delingers 1000w kit. What I found out was Panda exceeds delinger at all levels. Delingers kit gets very hot within a short while but panda’s remains cool.
Pandas kit provides the same speed 31mph at lesser power consumption but delingers provides way less. It rarely gets up to 25mph.
Consumes way way less power, but speed is higher at lower watts.
The kit is climbs hills well even with just throttle but beware as this will use up more power.
I found the customer service too very great. Oliver is a hero. Very quick in solving or answering any queries.
With the panda 1000w kit you really don’t really need a 1500w kit.
My only draw back is Panda doesn’t make this kit in many wheel sizes. 700c often seems to be out of stock. I really would love a spare.
Go for the panda. I can assure you won’t regret.

Just wanted to drop a note to say it's a relief to see a British company doing ebike components properly with decent quality connectors, proper battery cells and a decent motor that lasts. Too many fake brands importing chinese ripoffs out there selling sub standard parts

You guys are the best, special thanks to Maria! My trike now rides like the wind, really happy and couldn't have done it without your help.
One feedback point you could put a paper manual in the box instead of the online one but I understand you want to save the environment and all that

Fantastic customer service when I had a problem with a product. Thorough testing explained via email and a complete replacement sent within days.

I will be submitting a 1 star review every day until my problem is resolved.

Can you please refund my money if you are unwilling to sort the problem out?

Your supplier has collected a faulty product and since then nobody has been in touch and you are making no effort to provide a replacement nor to refund my money.

In your e-mail you said that the replacement will take 3 weeks, it is coming up to 7 weeks and still no product has been provided.

I contacted Panda because I needed new hydraulic brake sensors and a friend had told me about their great service. Oliver was beyond helpful and very fast to respond. A great British trusted company meant that as soon as my old conversion kit died on me, I decided to order one through Panda.


My new Panda M-Drive has been running smoothly since April!


The motor is strong and durable. It can be a little noisy but no more than any other ebike motor on the market - and hey, what do you expect from a motor?! The speed is fantastic and does really take me up to the top speed of 25kph!


I could not be more happy with my purchase and would highly recommend Panda eBikes!

I purchased the Panda-250 PRO Electric Bike Kit: 36V 250W Silver Motor for my wife to keep up with me when we cycle together! And she loves it! The delivery was super speedy and the instructions made the installation very easy.

When opening the box, I realised that it was missing the pedal sensor - but I got in contact with Oliver who was very apologetic and sent one with next day delivery. I got it set up and working great before our cycling holiday.

Great customer service, great product!

Done over 1600 miles trouble free and fantastic fun, best thing I've ever bought. Support is top notch, the guys really know their stuff. Two thumbs up!
