Hotel Palia Don Pedro

Currently staying in palia don pedro. It is the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my whole life. I found what looks to be a moldy sandwich or some type of bread left behind from previous guests. There are dead bugs and the floor of my bedroom is absolutely filthy. How is any of this not a health hazard. I'm never coming back to this hotel in my life. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!

Don’t go if you know it going to rain

Food was brilliant, always something different to pick from and pool area nice however the bedroom got flooded twice due to heavy rain and the hotel staff weren’t bothered. Told me this happens when it rains and took over 2 hours to come and clear it up. Wasn’t offered to be moved and had to deal with sodden floors and damp smell. Apparently we ‘weren’t alone’ and was told to ‘enjoy the sun now it’s here’ from jet2 rep. Poor service from hotel and Jet2. You don’t go on holiday expecting to be flooded, rooms should be watertight or not used. Water came in through bottom seal of the window and through the ceiling by a light fitting. Room stank of dampness and by the end of the holiday the damp/mould had risen up the wall. Not good to breath that in all week! Shame on the hotel staff and jet2. If you’re going, refuse to be in a ground floor apartment if you know it’s going to rain!

Worst Hotel ever

Worst Hotel ever, the food was disgusting, the drinks where watered down, the rooms are scruffy and boiling hot with no aircon, the people in the hotel where rude and told me to not use my mobile phone while I was in the restaurant, the lifeguards around the pool are arrogant and horrible, the manager of the hotel has a really bad attitude and needs to be sacked, avoid this hotel like the plague, trust me it is awful.

Palia Maria Eugenia Malnourished Guests.

Palia Maria Eugenia. Food is terrible. Made the mistake of staying all inclusive. Suitable for vegetarians and members of Weight Watchers. Had to eat out to avoid starvation. Chefs trained by SAS? All taste murdered. Hotel is clean but dining is not 4 star. More like 1 star.

PALIA DON PEDRO HOTEL COSTA DEL SILENCIO TENERIFE

STAYED AT THIS HOTEL WITH THE WIFE FOR A WEEK IN LATE JUNE 2019. BOOKED IT LAST MINUTE THROUGH EASYJET HOLIDAYS AS AN ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE AND HAVE TO SAY WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT.

YES THE HOTEL IS LOOKING A BIT TIRED AND THE ROOMS COULD DO WITH A BIT OF RENOVATION AND SOME AIRCON HOWEVER THEY ARE CLEANED DAILY AND THE STAFF WORK HARD TO KEEP THE HOTEL GROUNDS CLEAN AND TIDY DESPITE THE BEST EFFORTS OF SOME GUESTS.

THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD BY AI STANDARDS. THERE IS PLENTY OF CHOICE AND A DIFFERENT THEME EVERY NIGHT (CHINESE, ITALIAN, MEXICAN). OK ITS NOT A-LA-CARTE RESTAURANT QUALITY BUT YOU ARE NOT PAYING 5* SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT. IF YOU CANNOT FIND ANYTHING TO EAT HERE THEN THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU. PEOPLE WHO PAY A FEW HUNDRED £'S FOR AN ALL INCLUSIVE HOLIDAY THEN COMPLAIN THAT THE FOOD OR ALCOHOL IS NOT PREMIUM REALLY DO NEED TO GET A GRIP OF THEMSELVES. I CERTAINLY PUT ON A FEW EXTRA POUNDS ON THIS HOL AND NO SIGN OF ANY TUMMY TROUBLES. SOMETIMES THE FOOD CAN GO A LITTLE COLD BUT THERE IS A GRILL CHEF COOKING FRESH FISH AND MEATS AND EGGS/OMELETTES AT BREAKFAST. THERE IS ALSO A MICROWAVE IF YOU WANT TO HEAT YOUR FOOD UP ALTHOUGH I NEVER NEEDED TO USE THIS.

THE BOOZE IS STANDARD AI FAYRE. LOCAL SPIRITS AND SAN MIGUEL BEER OUT OF PLASTIC GLASSES. THERE ARE PREMIUM BRANDS IF YOU WANT TO PAY. THE AI FINISHES AT 2230HRS SO WE WOULD STOCK UP A FEW DRINKS THEN USUALLY SIT AROUND FOR ANOTHER HOUR FINISHING THEM AND CHATTING TO OTHER GUESTS AND STAFF. THEN WE WOULD GO TO THE NEAREST COUPLE OF PUBS ALONG THE ROAD A FEW HUNDRED YARDS AND CONTINUE THE NIGHT.

THE ENTERTAINMENT STAFF IN THIS HOTEL ARE SUPERB. THEY WILL ASK YOU IF YOU WANT TO JOIN IN THE ACTIVITIES BUT DONT PUSH IT IF YOU DECLINE. I HAVE TO SINGLE OUT BRUNO, NICHOLAS, EDUARDO AND JULIET FOR THEIR HARD WORK AND UNENDING ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM. THEY REALLY ARE A CREDIT TO THE HOTEL. I WOULD ENCOURAGE GUESTS TO PARTAKE OF THE ANIMATION ACTIVITIES AS CONVERSATIONS BEGAN ON THE ARCHERY FIELD CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING IN THE BAR AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT YOU HAVE MADE NEW FRIENDS

THE HOTEL GUESTS HAVE A RANGE OF NATIONALITIES MAINLY FRENCH ALTHOUGH THERE ARE PLENTY OF BRITS AND ALSO OTHER NATIONALITIES INCLUDING DUTCH , BELGIANS SPANISH (OF COURSE) ALTHOUGH I DIDN'T MEET ANY GERMANS WHICH WAS A SURPRISE. THERE WERE EVEN GUESTS FROM EASTERN EUROPE POLAND, HUNGARY AND BULGARIA. THIS MADE FOR A VERY COSMOPOLITAN CROWD AND UNLESS YOU ARE A XENOPHOBE FROM LITTLE BRITAIN YOU WILL FIND THAT PEOPLE ARE THE SAME THE WORLD OVER AND IT WILL ADD TO YOUR ENJOYMENT.

WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS BREAK AND FOR A LAST MINUTE HOLIDAY I WOULD NOT HESITATE IN RETURNING SO THANK YOU PALIA DON PEDRO AND ALL OF YOUR STAFF FOR A GREAT WEEK IN THE SUN

A noisy room with a lot of cockroaches....

My girlfriend and I booked a hotel room at Hotel Palia Dolce Farniente in Cala d'or and we experienced different problems.
We became a room just across a karaoke bar, which turned to a night club every night after 00.30 am. Here, the noise from the bar was like having a room on the dance floor. The bass from the club was so loud that it was vibrating in our room, so we went to the reception and asked for another room, where the receptionist said, that we could get a new room the next day. However, due to lack of communication from different receptionists, we had to wait two days before we became another room, so the two first days we got very little sleep.

The BIGGEST problem happened at the new room. Unfortunately, we had many cockroaches (they were around 5-6 centimetres long) in the room, where we had to kill around 5-7 cockroaches in one(!) night. This was so disgusting!
We are aware of the fact that it is not a 5-star hotel, but, as a customer on a 3-star hotel, you can expect a certain standard. And especially not a room full of cockroaches.
As a result of the above mentioned, we decided to check-out before the originally check-out date and booked a new hotel room in Palma.

We wrote a direct e-mail to the hotel one week ago, but they have still not answered us yet...
To sum up; we cannot recommend this hotel at all unless you are likely to have huge cockroaches in your room and a lot of bass from the night club.

Stay away from this hotel

We had all our money stolen from a locked hotel room, the manager was of that opinion that we had let the Patio-door open, but often was the door left open by the cleaning maid. We had other demands because we were traveling with a disabled man, and the front desk was at the end of our stay down-right rude to us.
