Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 82 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as abysmal and unresponsive, often struggling to reach a human representative or receive timely assistance. Reviewers frequently encountered issues with their orders, including missing items, incorrect products, and prolonged delays in shipping and fulfillment, sometimes waiting weeks or even months for their glasses. The contact methods provided were often ineffective, with emails going unanswered for days and phone numbers leading to automated bots rather than direct support. Regarding the product itself, many found the toppers to be flimsy, with weak magnets that caused them to fall off easily, and some noted issues with the quality of the frames, such as discoloration or being warped. However, some people did appreciate the concept of interchangeable toppers and found the base glasses to be satisfactory, with accurate prescriptions.

I was excited to get my frames and…

I was excited to get my frames and sunglasses topper, but after placing my order I received an email stating the shipping team was taking a short break and my order would ship once they were back...which was a week or so later. When my order did finally ship, you can imagine my disappointment when I opened the envelope to find ONLY the sunglasses topper. How do you forget to include the actual glasses that show on the shipping label?? After contacting customer service and providing proof of what I did and did not receive, they remade the glasses. I then had to wait another couple weeks for those to ship. When I did receive them though, I was satisfied with the frames. The topper is extremely flimsy and I have a hard time cleaning them due to that. It feels like they could snap at any point, definitely not worth the $30. They do stay in place, but since there is no magnet in the middle, they don't lay flat across the frames. Also, they only give you 48 hours to write a review once you receive the invite email, which is why the review is going on here. I will say, their virtual try on is top notch compared to Warby Parker. Not the best first experience considering they forgot the most important part of my order, but it worked out.

Horrible service.

Horrible service.
I ordered my glasses Feb 23rd, 2026; I received a notification that a shipping label was created on March 9th; it's been 11 days and no tracking is available; the package was never picked up.I do not recommend ordering from this company. I asked for a full refund.

Multiple problems

Multiple problems: (1) The first pair of glasses broke (but after a year) where one of the sides just came out. When asked them how could I fix, they didn't provide any good suggestions. (2) The second time I purchased, they somehow make you sign up for a subscription which then charges you $32.75 every month! This is stupid because it equates to $30 towards your next purchase. I did not want this nor did I intend to sign up for this and they refuse to refund it. BEWARE!!
Otherwise, it is a heavier frame than others due to the magnets. I do like the sunglasses attachment.

Took almost 2 months to receive my glasses!

I ordered progressive glasses (Zuri frames) from Pair Eyewear on January 10 and did not receive them until March 2, nearly seven weeks later.
My concern is not the shipping time but the lack of communication during the delay. I contacted customer service multiple times while waiting and only received generic responses.
After the glasses finally arrived, the explanation was provided only after repeated follow-ups, and the resolution offered was two $10 credits despite the glasses costing several hundred dollars.
I like the concept of Pair Eyewear and their toppers, but the communication during production delays could be much better.

No Glasses in over a MONTH

Order glasses a month ago like the other reviews and still have not received my glasses and they really don't know when I will get them. They are blaming the delay on shipping problems. However these shipping issues have been going on for a month now and it still hasn't gotten better. But everything else ships perfectly fine even extra toppers. This company is a JOKE and just out to take your money because you are not going to get your product. Buy glasses from another company that know how to deliver!! STAY AWAY FROM PAIR EYEWEAR!!!

I wish I had read the reviews

I wish I had read the reviews. NEVER EVER EVER buy a product from this company. I ordered frames on on 1/13 and as of 3/9 STILL do not have the correct pair of glasses .The first pair they sent did not match the measurements they list on their website, so they were too small for my face. I ordered a different frame and they sent it in the wrong color. I called to complain and they re-shipped, only to receive the SAME wrong color a second time. Each shipment takes weeks. Their customer service is the most infuriating kind, where they are polite and tell you how sorry they are and nothing gets fixed. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get things fixed and now I am literally on hold waiting for them to decide whether or not they will refund my money in full.

If I could give Pair Eyewear MINUS 5 stars, I would!

I placed my order on 12/31/25, and "d/t a supply chain issue" my glasses are still "in production." Every time I request an update, I am given the same vague info or excuse, but no actual information. They can't tell me the stage of production my glasses are in, or if they've even started producing my lenses. Just that "they are prioritizing my order to ensure it is fulfilled as quickly as possible." The problem: they've been saying this same thing since mid-January.

I also find it interesting that I continue to receive at least 2 texts and 1-2 emails DAILY trying to obtain new orders, despite the fact that they cannot fill the orders they've received. AND, after waiting over 2 months for my glasses to be completed, they have the audacity to offer a $20 gift card TOWARDS A FUTURE PURCHASE. Ummmm, NO THANK YOU! I have also requested that they ship my glasses express once production is completed, IF they ever complete them, and was told they're unable to do so.

I was a returning customer to Pair Eyewear, and referred others to them previously, but after this experience, I will NEVER order from this company again.

Pair has come a long way

Pair has come a long way. They are still very slow at order fulfillment, but the quality is now there. My glasses just have 2 magnets at the temples and hold toppers securely in place. The designs are well done and beautiful. I'll keep collecting more toppers!

Frames are warped

Frames are warped, magnets are not strong, I add a clip on, and the glasses are so heavy they continuously slide down my nose. The one thing I will say that was positive though was customer service when I initially wanted to return some of the clips that I purchased because I did not like the style. I was refunded immediately and I was told to recycle/donate the clips I wouldn’t be using. I was very hopeful that this was going to be my glasses for the future, but I guess buying glasses without being able to try them on is a bit of a pipe dream.

Awful experience

Not only did they force me to upgrade the frames but they took so long to ship my glasses and they weren’t even the correct prescription. The customer service is terrible. None of the discounts work. I submitted my items for a refund and got a confirmation email but never got my money back.

Terrible customer service, poor website

I absolutely loved this product and was a Pair Plus member but, unfortunately, their customer service caused me to cancel my membership. It has been nothing but frustration trying to return an item and getting any response to my emails. Unfortunately, until the system is improved as well as the website, I can no longer be a customer. It shouldn't be this hard to return something. Your system should automatically default to the toppers that match the frame the person has. I have spent hours trying to return something. Ridiculous!

Pair eyewear fraud …

Pair eyewear masks you check the box for free membership, then without notice they will change $30 every month for membership, hard to contact them, hours of waiting then they disconnect, and when able to talk to representatives, they refuse to refund. I paid $90 for a frame and I was charged $123.50 for membership. They are fraud.

Don’t fall for Pair Eyewear.

Do not buy! I tried two different base frames, and about 10 toppers from their website (as well as a few from other creators off etsy). The toppers fall off constantly. When the wind blows, if anyone hugs you, dog licks your face, etc. There is ZERO customer service. Two of my three orders came incorrect and both times took about two weeks to fix with their “chat bot” since the phone puts you on hold and hangs up. Even then, the only “fix” they allow is trying to send it again. The only way to leave them a review is through their Facebook page, and they only allow the good reviews to post and deny anything bad.

I keep having people say “oh just add glue dots” or “just add your own magnets”…. Shouldn’t it come working the way it claims in the first place?? My magnetic sunglasses from Zenni and Firmoo both work totally perfectly. So obviously it’s possible, just not by Pair.

Very bad company through and through.

Wrong PD Automatically Taken and Used In Order

Their automated PD measurement system forced the PD measurement through their digital tool only, and there was no manual option to correct.

They said for any PD updates to email their staff separately for PD updates. I emailed them regarding the correct PD measurement.

They sent the order to the lab, before the PD email measurement was updated by customer service.

Now, I have a pair of eyeglasses, under construction, in the lab, with the wrong PD measurement. And I have to wait and see if this PD difference in tolerable or not.

Their systems should allow for manual entry of PD and not be forced into digital measurement and to email staff after placing the order to correct PD measurements their system automatically imported into the order.

Customer Service sucks

I bought new clear frames and brought them to my eye doctor to but prescription lenses in. I got them back and the toppers don't fit. It had nothing to do with the lenses because for the frames to be bent that much they would have broken. They aren't giving me a new pair of flat fronted frames and I'm out the hundreds of dollars for the lenses. I've spent so much money with them you think they want to keep my business.

Buyer Beware......I would give this company a 0 star review if I could. They sent me the wrong prescription in my glasses I had to schedule an eye doctor to verify this over the holidays .... once I confirmed the prescription was not correct I asked for a refund, they denied my request for a refund of the wrong prescription stating I was over the 30 window by 2 days.... then charged me a membership fee on top of that ..... I didn't sign up for a membership!!!!!! The toppers are crap...almost 3D printed and peel off .
Customer service is non existent . Terrible Company
