Everything went fine once I found the urgent email address: I think it should be more apparent where you tell people they cannot chat or call on weekends. I appreciated that the agent told me about my... See more

The customer service email response was immediate and I was able to resolve my website domain renewal issue quickly.

As usual helpful and patiently explained answers to my questions regarding using Pair's firewall system.
The response to my question was super fast and I really, really needed to read what they sent!!! They saved me totally from a spam situation thankfully!!! Thank you pair support and billing teams!!!!
I have been a customer of pair for over a decade. I used to recommend them to literally EVERY business I encountered and I moved every single client of mine to Pair. The support was unrivaled and the value was the best in the industry. All employees were a pleasure to deal with. They were acquired by Private Equity. They are now the worst hosting company I have ever encountered. My monthly bill was changed to over 500% of what I paid for years. Customer support is now unreachable and it used to be the shining star of the company. I won't go into detail here, but I'm moving on as soon as humanly possible and taking as many clients with me. I truly feel bad for the founding employees if any are still there. Hopefully they will start a new company because this one has been burned to the ground.
I called it took over 45 min to have the call answered. The effort took HOURS.. when it should have taken mins.
Anthony - said the files leaked.. which is not true, something caused 407,000 mail records to load. I asked for a supervisor, as this has happened in the past. What I learned is Dominic did not archive and delete the mail records. Did not share where he archived them so I could delete them.
Jared had follow through because he is not the one to make the changes. 4 hours on the phone. unacceptable for what took less than 10 mins to archive. and you want to charge $35 to archive the in box that we could not get access to
For decades now, I've been grateful to have found Pair, which was suggested by an IT friend. Beginning in the '90s, I resold hosting on Pair. I'm rather old now, and appreciate so much the extra help I get from your IT when I need it. The old gray mare, she ain't what she used to be.
The initial mail from Pair said that Pair was changing mail handling in ways that would break the way I use my account.
I sent a long message to Pair support saying this would
be a problem for me, and began a panic search for alternate hosting providers.
Kurt replied that Platinum Mail would not apply to my
account because I use a VPS, and that I got the mail
because my email was also the secondary contact on
other Pair accounts. That was a big relief. Kurt's response was kind and informative.

I live you guys and support is terrific.
Pair's support responded quickly to my inquiry concerning my site being down (401) and blocking my access. But no 4 stars, because the site was blocked due to an ongoing security matter, yet I was not notified as soon as the security breach was detected and block was put on the site.
By far the most challenging vendor we have worked with and requires an absurd amount of time to get ahold of anyone in a timely manner. We have been longtime clients with Pair.com, (over 15 years) and they use to be flawless!! Then, they suddenly raised their rates to outrageous amounts. We contacted them and they offered a minor discount, which was a joke. Parallel to that, the customer service has declined tremendously to the point where it is impossible to resolve basic issues. They took a simple situation and made it ridiculous challenging and they love to cut off your email and website access. Imagine if you were involved in a life saving industry or nonprofit and your server company did this?!?! If you are a new client, they do offer a significantly lower rate than what we are paying but don't take the cheap bait!!!
Very quick response. Agent put the scripts in my bin and gave me the exact instructions on how to proceed.
The first response was horrible but after I did a follow up, I got the help I needed.
Had an email configuration glitch. They had it resolved in short order. Always prompt, helpful and the follow through it great.
While there was a quick attempt to solve my problem, I am still without a resolution.
I have been trying to set up a new e-mail box for several days. It doesn't seem like this should be so difficult. I thought I was going to have success when I spoke to Anthony, but no such luck. So far I have talked to no less than 5 technicians!
