This is a scam. I ordered a dress from a company called Jones Auckland. Next thing I knew I was charged twice and the company was called: painttowel.com In the following statement I noticed another payment went out. So I paid 3 times (at a much higher price than advertised) for the one dress and am afraid to find yet another payment in my next
statement. I will need to warn my bank...Worried!!!

Don't use this website!! We had the exact same experience as one other reviewer below. My wife ordered a dress in $AU and was charged in $US and automatically signed up for an MONTHLY subscription of $US49.99. Thankfully we saw the pending charge and cancelled her (unknown) membership, but we were still charged $AU76.05 for the first month...
AND the dress was never delivered.

BEWARE ! Never deal with this company, although you won't know you are dealing with them until it's too late. I ordered an item I saw on Facebook, no where was the business name “Painttowel “ mentioned nor the fact that the price was in $US and not $AU. 7 days later I get another $76.49 deducted from my account. When I requested this to be refunded I was told I was given a free 7 day trial to their discount site and was charged when I didn’t cancel. I never saw this email so did not know I’d need to cancel anything I didn’t ask for when I made a purchase. Secondary to this the sandals are the ugliest ones I have ever seen and are shiney plastic on the sole with no grip what so ever. Painttowel have refused to accept a return on them or refund the fee for a subscription I never agreed to.

They sent me a dress that I was looking at on a website that was not them. Next thing they took money from my account which has been disputed with the bank. I did not order anything from them and why did they access my account.
The dress that I was I looking at was too small and had been canceled but they still sent it when it was not through them at all.

Actually my rating would be 0 if that could have been selected. Same as others below. I saw add on Facebook but went to the website Melbourne Moda. Made a purchase which ended up being diverted to paintowel. Currency was in $US but this was not transparent and one week later another unauthorised amount of $76 was deducted. I contacted them and the response was that I had signed up for a monthly subscription which they claimed was in terms and conditions but I never checked a terms and conditions box. Now going through the long process of cancelling our credit card. Just stay away from these crooks.

Total hoax. An item arrived two weeks later for which they added $50 for delivery and what arrived was completely different to what I ordered. Absolute scam.

Definitely a scam. I went to a site called luna-wellington com and purchased a hand bag - how it ended up as PaintTowel using US dollars I will never know. What can we do about this SCAM? While I dialouged with them over believing I purchased in NZ $ not US - today when I checked my bank I realised a further payment has been taken and I get the same messages everyone else is getting - it is terrible

Told me that they sent me a confirmation email with membership details and then proceeded to take money out after a free seven day membership. Never received it and told them this. Scam

Please refer to my previous review STILL NOTHING!!! This company is a total rip off. Clothing was of sub standard. Refused to provide a return policy. Hung up on my Chat twice. I want a refund the product is of terrible quality (Grandma's night gown). Nothing like the photo that they shared to sell the product. False adverting which they will not own up to. I WANT A REFUND or at least the dress that I purchased in the picture.

This company is a total scam. They post fake ads and when you purchase they subscribe you to paying service without consent. Steer clear!
