AVOID THIS PLACE

AVOID THIS PLACE! Dirty rooms, terrible bathrooms, very very poorly maintained property. Air conditioning is simply horrible and the lifts are super small and slow. Look at the pictures of the shades and all the duct tape around the windows. ( It seems I cannot upload the pictures to this page, another "nice" trick !)Only positives are location and lovely staff at reception. Expedia ( understanding is the middle- man ) charged us 1600 usd for two bedrooms to nights. A JOKE. Again, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Management should be ashamed. THIS IS A REVIEW FOR OYO TIMES SQUARE

I had a very bad experience with Oyo…

I had a very bad experience with Oyo booking application... I had booked a room at Bangalore Collection O Manu and paid the amount 2000 change online but when I went to check in they didn't allow us,they make us to wait for a very long time asking us all stupid questions.. first they agree to give a room for us later they check and saw that we have paid online again they make us to wait and ask us several questions and later they said we can't check in because the other person age is only 16 years .. I called oyo Customer care and inform everything but we didn't get any help we had lost our 2000 change without our mistake we didn't even get a chance to see the room just we lost the money ,our mistake is that we already paid the amount online so nobody want to take us,I have trust this application blindly thats why I paid but it was my biggest mistake... While booking a room oyo application has an option to choose how many members, child age 0-5 ,adult above 5, which I had Choose 16 . There is no use of checking all that on that same day i spoke to your customer executive I was waiting outside that hotel for more than 2 hours thinking that you'll be providing me other hotels or a refund but they can't do anything if you want you can check the call recordings i spoke to them for more than hours.. my booking i.d PSO05323 ... The hotel staff even said that if that payment was not paid online they would have taken it. What does that mean ?? My problem in this situation is that ,i have make the payment online so nobody one is ready to check me in

OYO Brentwood Aberdeen - awful dirty, unsanitary

OYO Brentwood Aberdeen. Worst place ever! Carpet missing, bugs and mould in room. Dirty sheets.Veru sketchy men in reception area and hanging about. Left 20 minutes after booking in saying why we weren’t staying. Contacted OYO - no help. Contacted another 12 times for a refund and getting nowhere. Customer service is useless and won’t refund until they get the ok from the hotel. But cannot ever reach the hotel do 3 weeks later and still wanting a refund but don’t hold my breath.
Do not book or stay here.,,

They are lying at This Hotel Trying to make it seem as if it's a hospital with the ads. I booked a 28 day stay as an apartment private room with company, boyfriend and they keep letting old white men pull up on my apartment and they stalking my boyfriend scaring him out of drinking liquor and smoking weed with me, even stalking our music and tv stations. The Owner Might Even be behind the Mirror Connected To my bathroom. They Keep Walking And Talking Past My Room Behind My Back Sending Unknown Vehicles To Harm Me Too. And Knocking On my door as if I owe them money for rent and faking housekeeping.

I had a very disappointing experience…

Update as of June 19: Nobody provided me the resolutionyet. Its feel like a SCAM. I would recommend not to go with Oyo India rooms.

Update as of May 12: I haven’t received any communication since May 5. I genuinely don’t understand how they can confirm that they’re unable to validate my claim. This is starting to feel like a scam.

They have not contacted me at all, yet their so‑called “needful solution” was to say they couldn’t validate my claim. How is that a reasonable resolution?

I have shared booking ID, booking Confirmation and payment transaction details. What else is needed from me to prove.

Update : March 07
I was informed that they were unable to call my overseas number, and I never received any call on my alternate India number either. Then yesterday, I received an email saying they were unable to validate my claim. I genuinely don’t understand how they are unable to validate it even i shared booking id and screenahot of booking conformation. At this point, it feels like a scam, and based on my experience, I would not recommend OYO to anyone.

Update for the response [05/03]:
I received a response claiming that they had contacted me and given instructions to resolve the issue, but that is completely untrue — no one ever reached out. I got the exact same copy‑paste reply from the escalation email as well. I need a clear answer: **has my refund been initiated or not?**

I had a very disappointing experience with my recent booking. I reserved 6 rooms for 15 people, including 3 infants, and paid the full amount. When we reached the hotel at 9 PM, the staff denied our check‑in, and we were left waiting outside for more than two hours with infants while trying to find another place to stay.

I contacted OYO customer care multiple times, but there was no proper response. They listened briefly and then disconnected the calls. The customer service was extremely poor—no support, no clarity, and calls being cut without any resolution.

If it were possible, I would rate the experience **negative 10**. I paid ₹15,000 for the booking, and the amount still hasn’t been refunded. There has been no proper response from customer care or from the escalation email address.

This has been one of the worst booking experiences I’ve ever had.

Never Never Stay at This Shit Hotel in Batam!!!
Dishonest Staff overcharged me for a room for 7 days stay.
He asked me to pay 1,100,000 Indonesian Rupiah but the actual amount by the Hotel is
800,000 Indonesian Rupiah. He recorded as 800,000 Indonesian Rupiah.
He kept the remaining 300,000 Rupiah for himself.
Not only he cheated me but he cheated the hotel owner too!
Stay Away from this Shit OYO managed hotel!
Impossible to reach out to OYO Indonesia head office for my complaint. Office run and operated by bots. Given same response, same reply with no solutions at all.
In short, OYO is a Big Scam!

Needed to file a credit card dispute..

First off.. login requires providing a Google account or phone number. Both of which I don't have to offer OYO.

When booking, the site gave me no confirmation that the booking was successful. I was sent back to the previous page. It took 15+ minutes to get a confirmation email. Within that time I attempted to book again. Both ended up going through.

I immediately requested a refund. I got an email stating the refund is initiated. It's been 8+ weeks, no refunds. I contacted OYO 5+ weeks ago about not receiving the refund. Communication has been poor and I still haven't received it.

I just opened a credit card dispute. I'll never book through these guys again.

I had a very bad experience with OYO…

I had a very bad experience with OYO booking chennai city...

The photos shown while booking were completely misleading. The rooms looked clean and well-maintained online, but when we reached the hotel, the actual condition was very poor and not at all suitable for staying with family.

The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and did not match the images or description. It was so uncomfortable that we could not stay there even for a few minutes and had to leave immediately and find another hotel.

This kind of false representation is very disappointing and creates serious inconvenience, especially when traveling with family.

I strongly suggest others be careful while booking through OYO. Please verify recent reviews before confirming your stay.

Very unhappy with this experience.

OYO rooms are a complete scam

OYO rooms are a complete scam. The photos of the hotel room we booked online were entirely different from the actual room we were assigned upon arrival. They require you to make the payment online in advance, explicitly stating that the payment is non-refundable. While the room cost was listed as ₹4,500, the direct walk-in rate at the hotel was only ₹2,000. When we entered the room we had booked online, the AC was leaking water right inside the room. When we requested a room change, they simply told us that we had to stick with the specific room we had booked. If you call OYO customer care, they keep you on hold indefinitely without providing any response; subsequently, when you try calling again, you cannot even get through to customer care. Booking through OYO is a total fraud; I advise everyone against doing it.

We had a horrible experience at Super…

We had a horrible experience at Super Collection O Maharaja Palace, Kanpur (booked via OYO, Booking ID: BJF87009).

The room was extremely dirty and full of insects crawling everywhere—on the bed, floor, and walls. It was not just uncomfortable but a serious health hazard. It was impossible to even stand or lie down properly.

The AC was not working at all, and the staff falsely claimed it was fine. The behavior of the staff was very rude and uncooperative. Even basic amenities like towels were denied despite double occupancy.

Despite complaining, no proper action was taken. Only a temporary spray was done, and the issue remained the same. No one followed up.

We were forced to leave the hotel immediately due to such unsafe and unhygienic conditions.

This property is completely misrepresented on OYO and does not match the standards shown online.

Strongly not recommended. Avoid at all costs.

What made my secret was the staff

What made my secret was the staff! They were friendly helpful and very caring for me and my service dog that loves the hotel just as much as I do. I stated this hotel for quite a few months during my transitional stay here in Ridgecrest. I never stay anywhere else!

Very bad experience with OYO

Very bad experience with OYO. I strongly advise people — don’t ever book from them.

The room images shown online are completely misleading and do not match the actual condition. This is not just one bad room — it’s a repeated issue across multiple properties.

In Delhi, following OYO team suggestions, I visited 7 different rooms in a single day. Not even one matched what was shown in the pictures. This feels completely deceptive.

I came all the way from the UAE, and instead of getting rest, I lost my entire day and sleep going from one place to another. I was totally exhausted and frustrated.

Another major concern is the type of environment in many of these properties. These places did not feel suitable for families at all, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable and questionable. Parents should be very cautious before considering such bookings.

My intention is to alert others — what is shown online is not what you actually get, and the overall experience can be very disappointing.

If I could give a zero rating I would. Arrived at the hotel and was told there was no booking for me. I showed the receptionist the confirmed prepaid hotel voucher plus my credit card statement. This was not acceptable so I said I wanted to speak to the manager. The manager was very un helpful. So I decided to leave and find alternative hotel accommodation at 8.30 pm.
Have written 3 e mail but no reply. Have now initiated a charge back with my credit card company.

Worst experience at oyo hotels in mahipalpur delhi

We booked some hotels in mahipalpur delhi but when we reached on location, the hotel name was totally different and they denied us to check in as they have stopped taking bookings from oyo but the hotel was still showing on oyo app and there was no information available on the website, later on we booked the another hotel on oyo app and we found out that the images of the hotel was related to the other hotel and the name and location was totally wrong. Whenever we try to contact any hotel, there is no direct response from their side. Totally disappointed from the oyo service in mahipalpur delhi.

It is your mistake that you sent me the wrong location of the hotel due to which I had a lot of trouble finding the hotel. I wasted four hours and my rent was ruined a lot. My rent of 500 rupees was ruined and it was ruined by 700 rupees. After that, I found the hotel with the help of Google Maps. You sent me the wrong location. This is your biggest mistake and I will review it on Google App and App Store. Otherwise, please resolve it as soon as possible. I am sending you the screenshots of the location you sent. Bad service, bad room, dirty,

AC was broken, loud noise, no cooling,remote was missing.
Fan was not there in room.

No mirrors, No geyser, No any bathroom accessories like tissue paper, soap, etc.

Blood and dirty stain on bed. Smells so bad.

Bathroom was dirty.

Seems some one using in absence of customer. Might be staff using.

Overall experience -5. Never like to go that place.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. I booked and paid for a hotel through OYO, only to arrive at 11:00 PM to find the property permanently closed and gated. I was left stranded in the middle of the night and forced to pay for alternative accommodation out of pocket.

Since then, OYO's "customer support" has been an absolute nightmare. I have called multiple times and was promised "urgent escalations" with a 24-48 hour resolution. Not only did they fail to follow up, but they also stopped responding to my booking via the chatbot. To make matters worse, it appears they began filtering my calls, as I could only get through to a human when I called from a different phone number.

This company is selling inventory for businesses that don't exist and then making it impossible to get a refund. This is an unacceptable way to treat customers. Avoid at all costs.

PS to fellow travelers: If you are in this same situation and OYO is "escalating" your case without actually refunding you, do not wait. Based on my experience and many others, their support lines may eventually stop connecting you. Contact your bank or credit card provider immediately and initiate a "Chargeback" for services not received. It is often the only way to get your money back from this platform once a property has closed.
