Edward’s approach to tutoring is excellent, his sessions are always well prepared with clear structure, building upon previous work. Edward tutored my daughter for ESAT exams. She got through the exams and secured an interview at Cambridge university. My daughter told me he was an excellent tutor and I was very pleased with my comms with him.

However what set Edward apart from others was his willingness to help in any areas he could not just for the ESAT exams. He was happy to help when my daughter was struggling to understand something in A Levels, he also gave great advice/coaching to her regards university selection, he did mock interviews. All of these were first agreed with me, or my daughter.

In short, he went way above and beyond and he maintained comms and was incredibly helpful and personable. I simply could not fault him at all and I was grateful for this guidance, advice and assistance in various other areas. I cannot recommend Edward highly enough.

I cannot recommend Edward highly enough. Thanks to his help, I received Engineering offers from Cambridge, Imperial, UCL and Bath, and I genuinely do not think I could have achieved that without him.

What I found most valuable was his approach to teaching. In school, maths and physics are often taught as a set of methods to memorise and apply to standardised questions. Edward completely changed the way I thought about both maths and physics. He focused more on building an understanding of the underlying concepts. As a result, I became much more confident tackling increasingly unfamiliar and complex problems under the time constraints of the ESAT.

His teaching style is also exceptionally well suited to the ESAT. He helped me develop the problem solving skills needed for difficult questions as well as teaching time saving shortcuts or tricks that were very, very pertinent to the ESAT. Over time, I found myself approaching questions in a much more logical and structured way.

Edward is also incredibly kind and patient. He builds a great rapport with his students and creates an environment where it is easy to ask questions and learn from mistakes. Every lesson was very engaging and full of content and I always felt supported in class.

His teaching has not only helped me with the ESAT but has also given me a much stronger foundation for studying maths and physics at university. He is an incredible tutor, and I would highly, highly recommend him to anyone preparing for the ESAT, or even studying maths, physics and engineering in general.

Edward was an amazing tutor who was able to teach topics to me I’d never be able to understand otherwise. He was always prepared and made custom plans to help me prepare for my igcses which was very helpful. He’s also very professional and takes his role as a tutor seriously. If you really need to make progress quickly I’d suggest that you go to Edward as he prepped me in less than 2 months.

Edward supported me with ESAT preparation by going through the more difficult content and lots of tricky past paper questions under timed conditions. I ended up receiving an interview from Cambridge for engineering as a result of my ESAT scores and other help from Edward. Would definitely recommend and advise.

He’s a really good tutor. Knows his stuff quite well. Teaches really well and is really patient when students ask lots of questions. Does take time to understand questions before answering to gain a full understanding so would recommend sending questions in advance.

Edward's passion for maths and helping his students thrive is evident through his helpful sessions. His style of teaching involves helping the student use their pre existing knowledge to formulate plans to navigate complex problems. He is extremely patient and supportive, and tries to help the student think on their own rather than showing them the answer immediately. I find this type of approach to be very beneficial for deepening my understanding of math instead of just passively watching how a question is answered.

Great company, as well as a really good teacher. Worked through complex questions together and constructively in a fashion that was very similar to both the style of teaching/ questioning in both my Imperial and Cambridge Interviews. Receiving offers from both Imperial and Cambridge felt very rewarding and special given the fact I was the only one in my school to receive offers from these universities, I believe Edward's guidance and tutoring was a big reason why I even had the confidence to apply in the first place.

Edward was of amazing help! It is clear he knew the ESAT specification well and i would definitely recommend atleast a few sessions with him as ESAT material is limited and acess to work solutions is difficult to find so having someone to help explain questions is definitely necessary.
