PCOS and hypothyroidism makes weight loss nearly impossible

I have PCOS and hypothyroidism which is apparently a common combo but makes weight loss nearly impossible. Every doctor Ive seen treated them separately. My coach is the first person who understood how they interact and adjusted my plan for both. Its been 5 months and Im down 21 lbs which honestly feels like a miracle. Still have some belly fat but Im being patient because I can see its working even if its slow.

I thought macros were just for bodybuilders

I thought macros were just for bodybuilders. My coach explained that women with PCOS need different macro ratios than regular diets recommend bc of insulin resistance. Learning to hit my protein target and lower my carbs strategically changed everything. Finally lost the stubborn 15 lbs that wouldnt move for 2 years.

bootcamp trainer had no idea what PCOS was

I joined a bootcamp thinking group fitness would help. The trainer had no idea what PCOS was and kept pushing me to do more burpees and run faster. I was exhausted and gaining weight. This program is the opposite, my coach understands my hormones and designs everything specifically for me. Thats why it works 🙏🏼

metformin side effects were awful

Tried metformin for 6 months and the side effects were awful. stomach issues every single day. i asked my doctor for alternatives and he basically shrugged. found this program and my coach showed me how to manage insulin naturally through food and exercise. its been slower than a pill but no side effects and the results are lasting

the diagnosis was a relief but my doctor just said good luck

Got diagnosed with PCOS at 26 after 3 years of no answers. Honestly the diagnosis was a relief because it meant I wasnt crazy. But my doctor just handed me a metformin prescription and said good luck. This program gave me actual tools and support. 7 months later Im down 28 lbs and my cycles are regular without needing the medication.

my confidence came back and our relationship is better

My husband never said anything but I could feel him pulling away and it broke my heart because i kept promising that i would fix it but never did. I felt so unsexy with my PCOS weight. Since starting this program and losing 24 lbs my confidence came back and honestly our relationship is better than its been in years. He says he can tell Im happier and that makes him happy.

I was doing orangetheory 5x a week and eating next to no calories and GAINING weight. Turns out i was spiking my cortisol with too much cardio. My coach taught me to lift weights instead and eat more protein. counterintuitive but it worked. down 18lbs and way stronger.
