We are absolutely delighted with our experience of buying our beautiful bungalow at Doveridge.
Zsazsu has been amazing. Patient, kind, efficient We could not have asked for more from her. We find everything a little more difficult in our later years and we have been extremely stressed and anxious. Zsazsu has handled this incredibly well. Sam’s knowledge and clear explanation of everything we need to know about our bungalow was also amazing. We are very grateful and are very optimistic for a happy future. Thank you Owl.

As a first time buyer, I was extremely naive and from the moment I stepped into owl homes development at higham on the hill, Sheila the sales advisor was amazing.. from first listening and understanding my needs, to seeing the property for the first time and many times after that popping over to the development, to supporting me through the whole process, to going through the choices I had with the kitchen and bathrooms, Sheila was there every step of the way, always professional and always on hand with any questions I had .. she went above and beyond and I will never forget her kindness and support.. she made the whole process stress free and one that I can look back on with joy.. thank you Sheila!

From day one, my journey with Owl Homes at Higham on the hill as a first time buyer has been incredibly positive, and the shining star throughout has been Sheila, my amazing sales advisor. She went above and beyond and was always kind, knowledgeable, and consistently welcoming to all my friends and family who popped by. Her friendly nature and constant support made the buying process smooth, exciting, and actually enjoyable.
Once I moved in, I was blown away by the exceptional build quality of my new home. The attention to detail is outstanding, and the overall layout of the development is a breath of fresh air and it’s clear that real thought has gone into the design. Homes aren’t crammed together like in so many other places; there’s space to breathe, relax, and truly feel at home.
A huge shoutout to Andy, the site manager, whose dedication is second to none. He’s always been available to answer my questions, and his meticulous approach to every detail around the site has been so reassuring. It’s rare to find someone so committed and approachable.

We have had an excellent start to buying a new Owl Homes property, on Mortimer Manor, Bewdley.
We can't thank Sales Representative Kaitlyn enough for all the assistance and support she has given us. She has gone above and beyond in keeping us informed and nothing has been too much trouble.
We are so looking forward to moving into our new home!

Where to start! The team on site have been nothing short of amazing, kind and supportive. As a first time buyer, all the legal jargon with solicitors, the paperwork and even packing was a daunting task - no question was too big or too small and they held my hand through the whole process.
All in all from seeing the house for the first time to putting my deposit down to moving in - 6 weeks. Which was so swift, easy and stress free.
Since I’ve been living here of course there’s been the odd snag here and there and the on site team have been to check and fix things as needed.
I cannot thank Jennie and Sam more, they have made the biggest decision of my life so far, a breeze.
The home is gorgeous, the area is stunning, and this I am proud to say is my home.

Do not buy a home from this company. Two and a half years on and many of us on the development are still dealing with the aftermath of shoddy workmanship and corner cutting

Honestly where I do start ! My experience with owl homes has been truly amazing. Kaitlyn has us so excited to begin our journey as home owners at Mortimer Manor and no question has been too big or small. She has even gone further in helping us make difficult decisions on tiles, flooring and cupboards. This really helped considering we’re both so indecisive and excited ! She’s a brilliant representative with only your best interests at heart which is such a rare find in today’s house search. Thank you Kaitlyn !

Great work from the team at King Richard’s Wharf, especially Lisa and Lee. They have been incredibly helpful throughout the full process, from first viewing to completion, and after.

We have moved into one of the new houses at the Owl Homes, Mortimer Manor development in Bewdley Worcestershire. We have had a very positive experience dealing with Owl. Their sales people were extremely knowledgeable and answered all our numerous questions from the outset of our interest.
Moving for us was possible through the Owl part exchange process which was well explained and pretty seamless from the date of decision.
We moved inside 8 weeks which was better than we had hoped for and since moving in the whole team has been nothing but helpful at every step.
The site management side of things is very well handled, in our case by Aaron who has tirelessly made sure we are happy with our new build and has attended any small concerns we have had. In fairness, our new house is already feeling 100% our new home and Owl Homes have facilitated that smooth transition and we are very grateful to them for their approachable nature and attentiveness. Top marks and thank you all - Highly recommended 👍

We recently moved into a house on King Richards Wharf. The house is lovely and the estate is well looked after. The team have been incredibly supportive and the only minor issue with the house (sealant coming up on the bath) was dealt with quickly. Would highly recommend.

We had such an easy process with Lisa and Lee at the Kings Wharf. We viewed the house in January and we are moved in by beginning of March! It was so stress free!

Our original review on the 7th May 2025 was really positive - we moved into our Owl Homes' plot back in September'24, and the team had been a dream to deal with, right from our initial viewing. Zsuzsa held our hand through the usual hurdles of the reservation process, and since moving in, we were looked after by Sam & her team of builders. The typical snagging bits occurred, but with Sam on site, everything was fixed within a few days (they often helped with bits above & beyond too). The house was finished to a wonderful standard, and we were really happy with Owl Homes - we will miss the team when they move off-site!

...with the revised review on the 30th March 2026 as it appears to go rapidly down hill once they've moved off site. We reported severe garage flooding, along with damp inside the house, an issue with the hot water pipe, a leaky bath panel and leaky guttering to the house on the 1st of February. Owl are passing the garage flooding off as "normal", so I am now in the process of reaching a resolution with NHBC. It's now the 30th of March, and we are still waiting for someone to review the damp inside the house, the hot water pipe, the leaky bath panel and leaky guttering. I'm having to email & phone every other day to chase for an update or a response. I'm met with robotic responses and silly excuses - staff off sick, and an "invoice dispute" with Johnson's plumbers meaning no house visits are being booked. It seems their after-care service is non existent, they shift all blame and responsibility, and give you the run around with admin to get things resolved!

The sales staff from dealing with both Zsuzsa off site, and Dee at The Doves were exemplary. Wasn't straight forward due to external factors but there assistance and advice, helped to get things over the line.
Am overjoyed to be in my first house. And whilst there were some minor snags, which were dealt without question
I can't fault the quality
I won't hesitate in recommending Owl Homes and the team responsible for The Doves.

I moved into an Owl Homes bungalow in Bewdley on January 31st and I can only say my experience has been brilliant. The quality of the house is just great, burglar proof doors, complimentary fridge freezer and cooker with hob, outstanding help to move, using 3 free Estate Agents, from the two ladies in the show home, very helpful assistance from the site manager and his deputy with all kinds of jobs, lovely and warm from the Air Heater, there are no problems whatsoever. It is a pleasure to live here and it is like starting a new life with the excellent town of Bewdley just down the road.

We purchased our 4 bed home in November 2022 and therefore have recently ended our 2 year builder guarantee.
After a delay when we finally moved in there were work staff still finishing off which was a shame. The biggest asset early on was the assistant site manager who was both caring and efficient and sorted many of the early issues. Since then, the Owl employed handyman has likewise been good.
Whilst we appreciate there will always be snags I would like to list just the main issues we have had to deal with which really should not have happened…
The heating system had not been installed correctly, ie no airspace heater in kitchen and the landing radiator not connected to the downstairs system. Owl did agree and replaced 2 radiators to compensate.
Wall tiles ( which we paid extra for ) were incorrect in both bathrooms- rectified.
We paid for medium range quality carpets and they in our opinion are poor quality.
Internal gloss work poor in places and I had to re paint stairways myself.
Skirting boards are MDF and poor quality.
Supplied fridge/freezer too small for a 4 bed family home and we struggle with just the 2 of us.
Rear garden drainage very poor and very quickly becomes water logged despite additional drains installed.
General site landscaping poor with hedges not cut and planting incomplete and I understand Owl have passed this over to the contractor for landscaping but nothing done .
There are a lot of negatives here and there is more detail but I wanted to give you a flavour of our experience. Most of the issues are now sorted and it’s not all negative as the house is well insulated and warm and we have not experienced any settlement cracks as such so make your own mind up…

Do not buy a home of these people, my son has a new build which to be quite honest has loads of poor building quality,it has large cracks in the walls, the staircase doesn’t fit right and the patio door glass is cracked.! When approached to rectify these building problems Owl homes just shrug there shoulders and couldn’t careless,give out random excuses and disappear.So I recommend you Do Not Buy from them as they couldn’t give a monkeys.
