I can't honestly remember the last time I didn't get an Owlcrate order on time, which is more than I can say for so many book boxes out there. Everything usually arrives well-packed and as expected. In the past when there have been delays, they've always been really great about communicating with and updating customers, and the handful of times (in years of being a customer) that items have been damaged in shipping or had manufacturing issues, they were always fantastic about replacing things.

First off, Customer Service is excellent. They get back to you quick and they're always so helpful, polite and friendly. I recently had to change my subs, and Amber was on it right away. I hope she knows how much i appreciate her help lol. Second, the owlcrate book boxes are almost always amazing. I have to admit, there are a few boxes where they had items I just did not care for, so I gave them to someone who could use them. They were lovely items. I, personally, could not use them lol. Lastly, the Nest community is amazing. I do believe that you don't have to subscribe to the boxes to join so...if you love books, come join us!

Once upon an OwlCrate, a girl traveled on epic adventures within the pages of each and every book they shipped her and with the items included in the boxes. (Seriously, some of the stuff that OwlCrate has included in past boxes has made traveling the best: travel sized lotion that smells bomb, tooth brush holder, umbrellas, eye glass case and cleaner towel, book sleeves to bring home collector books, page holder, luggage tags… just off the top of my head). Some of the adventures she has been on have been epic indeed: space operas, romance, dragons, different worlds, different times, different cultures - seriously travel by book is the best, right?

I’ve been getting the OwlCrate YA box with goodies since 2017. I cannot rave enough about how great each and every box has been. The best part: they just keep getting better! I thought sprayed edges made my book loving heart swoon, but wait until you see the stenciled edges! *better than a Highlander in a kilt swoony scene*
In all seriousness, here’s some major highlights of OwlCrate:
1. Great customer service. I’ve had two items out of all the boxes from 2017 that were damaged. They were replaced at no cost to me.
2. If boxes were delayed (it happened once), we got $10 store vouchers!
3. The Nest - an inclusive safe space to talk all things book. They made their own social media.
4. The ambassador program. You get reward points to spend on all the bookish stuff of your dreams.
5. Beautiful books. Useful and gorgeous bookish goodies. Add on extras that will make your bookish dreams come true.

In my most recent YA box, the mug arrived with the design printed upside down. I emailed them and they sent a replacement the next day.

I subscribe to a few book boxes and OwlCrate is the one I never skip. Their book choices are always one I’m excited to read, and their items are always useful and display-worthy. I love their special collections and how they always give back to their community and inclusive of all.

My experience with OwlCrate has been great. They are very transparent with their business practices. Not only does OwlCrate interact with positive post on social platforms, but also interact with negative coments, always bringing clarity to any issue. I have not seen any other box subscription have such great costumer service. Oh, and did I mention that their editions are out of this world! 🌎 🤯❤️

OwlCrate is all around a great book box sub. Their books have not disappointed me, and their community is engaging. They have a lot of different book picks, and their skip policy is amazing - which is great if a choice for the month isn’t to my personal taste in books.
I also just received their exclusive book of The Fragile Threads of Power by V.E. Schwab - which is gorgeous. It shipped on time and arrived safely.
I have personally not had to deal with customer service because I have not had a damaged book or any problems with my account or delivery.

I’m obsessed with OwlCrate. Each monthly box is like a present to myself. Not only do I get a beautiful book but all the bookish items are nice little surprises. Then there is the wonderful app full of bookish new friends who are so supportive and insightful. Employees are on the app and actual hear what we have to say. When there are hiccups in items or shipping they swoop in and make it right. This is definitely a hidden gem!

After experimenting with multiple book subscription boxes over the years, I can say that OwlCrate is the best option from everything I’ve tried. They have the most kind and helpful customer service I have ever seen, they send out quality books and items you can actually use, and they are always trying to improve their products by using customer feedback. I’ve never had a problem with shipping, broken items, or damaged books. I have been a subscriber for seven years and I highly recommend it!

It’s exciting to be a part of the Owlcrate world. Each time you receive a book from Owlcrate you are filled with anticipation and relish the moments from the unwrapping, to the initial look at the book, to the actual holding of the book and to the realization it’s yours! The book is always breathtaking and the whole experience is exhilarating. Every book lover should experience it.

I have been using OwlCrate for a couple months now and I couldn’t be happier. The items that I receive in my box are actually ones I would use. I love getting items such as mugs, spoons, and metal bookmarks. All of these items are nicely designed, too. The customer service also has been great. One time I needed to change my address after purchasing something and they were on it right away with no issues.

OwlCrate has become a cozy nest for my bookish heart. The people are always respectful and just excited to talk books. There are so many great activities to get people involved like read alongs, reading challenges, author chats, and voting polls for fun “what to read next” ideas. It’s a place I love to be!

Every experience I’ve had with OwlCrate has been amazing. My books always arrive in perfect condition and they are stunning. Also, I’ve had to contact customer support on multiple occasions due to some mistakes on my side and they are always so understanding and fix my issues quickly. Love!

My experience with owlcrate over the last few months has been a dream come true for a book nerd. Their choices of books are mostly to my tastes so far and the special editions are beautiful. Their online store is filled with great stuff and has an awesome point system for discounts!
The online community, The Nest, is amazing too! They have readalongs and challenges with prizes and live interviews with authors. Everyone is so nice and just wants to share in their love of stories! I feel like I've finally found a non-toxic online community.

I have ordered quite a few of their shirts (Nestie, OwlCrate Reader, Proud Fantasy Reader) and they are so soft and fit perfectly!

I have only recently discovered Owl Crate, and I am beyond excited to get my first order. Ordering was really simple, and finding and navigating their app, the Nest, was also a breeze. I looked at many, many, many, book boxes from different companies and this one seemed like the best based on reviews from other customers. I basically don’t do anything without reading reviews first these days so I was really intrigued to see how happy owl crate customers were.
I will be back to leave a review of my first box once it arrives- can’t wait!

One of the best book box subscription service. The art work and detailed foiling is on every book. The best part is that they are one of the last box sub that still has autographed copies, too many others only use digital signature which is a book “ick”. They also care about their customers and do surveys and check-ins to make sure they creating something we want. I freaking love them!

I've been a new subscriber and book buyer from here for a little over a year now. And let me just say how absolutely gorgeous all of their editions are. As an avid special edition book collector these editions are out of this world! The OwlCrate team is also very friendly and open to helping with any problems I had. Owlcrate also has an app, much like instagram but for only bookish related posts. Everyone on there is so nice and I love that the OwlCrate team is also involved with it to connect with their customers. This is why I gave 5 stars!! Thanks OwlCrate!!

I have subscribed to Owlcrate off and on since 2016. For the last two years there has rarely been a month that I've skipped because all of the books are so gorgeous. The customizations are outstanding, every single book is signed by the author, and the goodies are so cute! Every now and then there'll be a book that I'm not super interested in or an item that I'll never use, but everyone has different tastes and I'm sure there's someone else out there who was thrilled with them. The few times I've had an item that was damaged, the customer success team addressed the matter swiftly and sent me a new one as soon as possible. Overall, I love Owlcrate and I cannot wait to see what they accomplish next, especially with their own publishing house!!!

I have reached out to their Customer Support Team countless number of times and each time, the team members have proven to be been super helpful, patient and efficient.
Be it delays related to book delivery, address changes, general queries, skip policy or book damages, they always listen to your problems and come up with the best possible solutions.

I recently had to contact them regarding a book damage issue and was informed that I could either get reward points or a replacement. The entire issue was resolved in less than 48 hours!

It’s amazing how fast OwlCrate has established itself as a company that actually cares about its customers, something that makes this wonderful company so much better than its competitors.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about with the shipping, the packaging, the beautiful books, or any of the delightful bits and bobs that brighten my day, to receive. I don't care when they arrive as long as they do. I love the service and once I'm fully moved into and have furnished my new home, I'll finally start creating my library again.

For me, Owl Crate is a way to find new favorites and even old ones that become those favorites, all over again. I stopped reading tangible books several years ago, due to space. I LOVE BOOKS. I was raised in a home with a library and access to an enormous public library once I outgrew ours, so I adore the written word. Buying myself a subscription was a great decision and I absolutely can't say a single negative thing.
