It's actually a 4.6.
I use it for 360 photography and there is a small issue in the nadir that always is "white".
Other than that it just delivers what it promises with great detail conversion and lots of options to deal with.

It does not produce the same quality my camera does in 3D but not bad for $10 a month and super slow even on a beast of a computer! My specs i711 gen 32 gigs ram 1669 to video 2 tb nvme drive 7000 read 7000 write speed

Useful and does the job well
I’ve found this app to be very functional for converting images and videos into VR format. The recent updates to the app have added some useful functionality as well. My only wish is that it rendered a little faster. I’m using a 13th gen I9, RTX 4090, 64GB ram and it still takes hours to render a 10 min clip. I realize that’s a function of the huge workload the app is tackling though.

There is no better alternative for 2D…
There is no better alternative for 2D to 3D Video and Photo conversion out there.
OWL3D has many configurable options and has different models for getting an even more precise 3D depthmap (all at cost of processing time though)
Once you found your personal preferred setting the 3D effect is really noteworthy here...at times even better then native 3D Blurays.
Soon they gonna release an even more personalized version which gives users the abbility to professionally aid & adjust the depthmap even more.
I highly recommend this software.
Its one of the most useful AI software in existence yet!

Very impressed with level of 3D depth achieved!
I am very impressed at the level of 3D depth this software achieves at default settings while maintaining video quality. It is not 100% perfect, but those instances of, like image edge blurring or similar are only very occasional and hardly noticeable compared to the rest of the played video immersion and quality. One suggestion to the dev., pls. add more video format rendering options. Currently, MP4 is the only (default) format. Some older TVs (like my Samsung 75" 3D) will only play MKV). Also, though outside the scope of the SW, it would be really nice it there was an upscaling option, to at least 4K (from HD or 1080P). Overall though, really happy with the 3D quality - The Dev. has done really great work here, and I'm Looking forward to more updates/improvements in the future!

Owl is a great 3d converter that's intuitive and easy to use. It definitively is the best all in one 3d converter solution and pretty good for the price. It is a joy being able to see your favorite photos or videos in 3d due to the magic that the owl developers have created. Most importantly, the developers always listen and try their best to implement the suggestions that the community has made to improving the software. They have truly created a rare gem, and something very special. The software allows people to choose their own depth and quality settings, and also it has a feature resume function in the event of a power outage or computer crash. This is something that other 3d converters don't have. So 100 percent without a doubt, i recommend owl3d for anyone who likes to convert videos or photos to 3d and view them on a projector, 3d tv, or vr.

Owl3D is a great program
Owl3D is a great program, and the company representatives are eager to keep getting better.
I have a 360 video camera. Previously, the program had a problem with stitching when converting from 360 video. This update to 1.4.7 fixed it nicely.
One issue I had was that after conversion, I could see a sizzle like aurora borealis on the heads of people close to the camera.
This may be a specific camera issue, but they were kind enough to say they'll try to fix it in the next update.
I recently started using the 3D 180 camera, so I stopped using Owl3D for a while, but I'm considering the PRO plan once 1.4.8 comes out to see how it works.
