Complete scam for multiple reasons

Complete scam for multiple reasons

The company pretend to integrate United Healthcare PPO Plan for international workers in the U.S.and works with Healthcase L.L.C. for this. Problem is Healthcase L.L.C don't register your profile in the system. So you're basically given an United Healthcare I.D. that nobody can find.

The process is archaic :

- You need to search doctors through a list provided by United Healthcare to Healthcase (Owello's partner in the U.S.). Most of the doctors actually don't accept the plan despite being listed on the website.
- You need to call all doctors, no online booking possible
- Owello gives you a United Healthcare I.D. that is actually not registered in any system. This number is always asked by provided. It's making it impossible for doctors' offices to find you and recognize your insurance without calling Healthcase
- When they accept to call Healthcase, it's to learn that despite being in the United Healthcare Plan, they mostly don't cover your specific coverage
- Healthcase service is of no help with anything
- This is basically the kind of insurance built so that you can't take medical appointments

Complementary, my colleague who managed after hundred of attempts to get a medical option waited for month before getting reimbursed.

You also need to pay upfront for dentists and opticians before getting reimbursed.

Reliable Insurance After 1.5 Years Abroad

I’ve had this insurance for a year and a half since relocating to Mexico. At first, I was a bit concerned after reading some negative reviews about reimbursement difficulties, but in the end, they’ve always been very quick. I even had surgery during the first year, and they went the extra mile to cover 100% of the costs, even though it exceeded the usual budget.

The only time things were delayed was when I submitted a claim from France without realizing I was missing a required document. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to reach them by phone or message; that’s probably the main downside. But overall, as long as you provide all the necessary paperwork, they handle things efficiently and professionally. So far, I’m satisfied with their service.

Absolutely the worst

Absolutely the worst. Reimbursement takes months, nobody to get in touch with, no employees speak English, have to jump through hoops to try to get approval for medication that with all my medical records should easily be approved. They should not provide any international healthcare because they don’t care and are completely incompetent at doing anything in a timely manner. Stay far away.
