Nice hosting provider with really good special offers!
In the past i had mixed experience with OVH, but this seem to have changed in recent years.
Their special offers (especially Kimsufi dedicated servers) are one of the best or maybe event the best offers in the whole world.
Additionally they have a pro-active monitoring to resolve hardware issues when needed.
I'm using OVH starting from this year again and had no issues at all.
Can totally recommend the provider to anyone!

Ordered a VPS as a load balancer. Was working perfectly for a week. Earlier had a support request and it was very fast. Until on 20th Nov 2025 my VPS got terminated due to "breach of contract". As logs and explanation they said that I was [allegedly] DDoSing an IP address. Can you guess which IP address I "DDoSed"? MY OWN! The IP address of a host that I OWN AND MANAGE. I have an HTTP endpoint on that host which resolves back to my OVH account, yet no response and no reaction. Support says "we can't do anything, decisions by legal department are irrevocable". I wrote a letter to their legal department, being ignored for 3 days (that would be okay for some inquiry, but that's downtime, not just some problem). Their super fast support disappeared AS SOON as I asked them to ping legal department so they can get back to my case faster, as it's an urgent matter.
Please, don't do business and don't trust this company. They tell that they protect you but then their automatic system falsely decides that you're violating something and you're done.
UPDATE: 5 days later, they still ignore me everywhere. The support team here, on TrustPilot asked me for details and VANIHSED as well as soon as I gave my account ID and NIC handle. Just no response at all. Reddit gave same result. Replied to my post within a few hours, gave them my NIC handle, account ID and name in PMs, they first got the wrong VPS and said that the matter was resolved. As soon as I corrected that they had the wrong VPS and pointed them (again) to the terminated VPS, they ghosted me. Unbelievable

To be honest, I'm really annoyed with OVH/customer service. Every request/action takes days, and often the responses from customer service are useless because they are not helpful and often require multiple follow-up questions.
I currently have the following problem: I rented a server in Germany at the Limburg data center from OVH Global via OVH Netherlands Amsterdam and a server in France at the Roubaix data center, where I rented both servers. I connected them with a VRACK so that both can communicate via a private network. At the time, I didn't realize that if I rented an additional server in the US, I wouldn't be able to integrate it into the existing VRACK because the OVH website advertises that the VRACK service can communicate globally and across data center and country borders, but it didn't specify that this is only possible if all servers are booked via OVH US LLC , i.e., the American OVH branch. So I booked my storage server with OVH Netherlands in Limburg with a contract term and a discount.
Unfortunately, I now have to cancel all servers at OVH Global Netherlands with special termination and then rebook all servers at OVH US LLC. Unfortunately, OVH Global customer service is either incompetent or does not understand what I want from them. I opened a ticket and requested a special cancellation because it is not possible to connect the German server to the French and US servers with the VRACK service without OVH Cloud Connect, and that is simply too expensive just to replace the free VRACK service.
I'm just annoyed that I'm forced to cancel all servers because of the poor advertising/information about the OVH VRACK service on the OVH website. If OVH had clearly and openly stated on the website that the VRACK service/ adding US servers is not possible unless all servers are booked through OVH US LLC, I would have booked all servers directly through the US branch and I would not now have the hassle with support and would not have to argue about a special termination. I also do not understand why support does not simply approve the special termination, since I am remaining loyal to the company and am simply rebooking with the other branch and not switch to the competition.
These errors, the effort and annoyance could have been avoided with decent and accurate information. I now have to have everything sorted out before November 15, 2025, and rebook all servers so that I can copy all data from the old storage server to the new one without data loss and without having to pay for the old storage server for another month and can book the new one directly.
I am still hoping to find a solution so that I can rebook my server with all discounts at OVH US LLC.
This concerns the OVH account sf861747-ovh and ticket CS12635115.
Addendum: The ticket has been open since November 1, 2025. Today is already November 13, 2025, and unfortunately there has been no clarification to date, even though it escalated days ago, according to the ticket handler.
The day after tomorrow, on November 15, 2025, the server must be paid for again for another month, and if the server is deactivated because no new payment is made, I will not be able to transfer my data because it takes up to 72 hours for the new server to be provided, plus 2-5 days for data transfer.
I hope OVH finally gets everything sorted out and can credit me a few days for the server as a gesture of goodwill so that it runs longer than November 15, 2025, and I can transfer the data after receiving the new server.

I found over 200 phishing sites on this hosting. All of them are located on one server on one IP address. The target was citizens of European countries. On July 6, I sent a complaint through their complaint form. And now, 3 weeks later, there has been no response, the number of phishing sites continues to grow.
Although services such as Google Safe Browsing have marked the sites as phishing, the hosting continues to host them.

This is about order number 225222001. We set up hosted exchange with you on Monday, with the surprise that our order needs 48 hours processing time. When we asked support, they told us that we absolutely had to set up exchange by Friday, as our old hosting contract expires at the weekend. The support agent on the phone explained to us that the 48-hour check only occurs the first time and not for subsequent orders.
With this confidence, we bought the necessary hosted exchange licenses on thursday (yesterday), trusting that the order would go through immediately. And we ended up in the 48 hour check again!!! We absolutely have to make the migration today (Friday 21.03.25) as our contract with the old hoster expires at the weekend. I have contacted telephone support twice today and chat support twice and they don't want to speed up the validation of our order. The fact that we were told that validation will not happen again for subsequent orders is being ignored.
If the validation can still be carried out today, I am happy to withdraw the rating. But if the order won't be processed today, our business will be impacted by that decision.

experiencing one of the worst support service with them, the entire company is desync. They close the ticket but the solution is not there. I cancelled all my contracts still they are charging my card and I can't delete my card from there as the system doesn't allow.

Absolutely dismal support, even when premium Support is payed for. It takes days to get an answer and the provided answers where never actually helpful, but passiv aggressiv or deflecting. Chatting with live support and one will get redirected to the ticket system... Even for simple stuff like getting a quota increased, because the button on the page is broken.
Edit: about 30 minutes after writing this i finally got my tickets resolved, correcting from 1 to 3 stars.

the physical hardware of our servers became faulty and did not respond. our servers were down for close to 72 hours.
We were unable to backup our data because everything basically got destroyed.
OVH offered us a 30% service credit (for one month) and sited we were only down for 1200 minutes, because technically they could ping the server, even though no one could connect.
We told them 2 days straight that there is an issue, until they finally checked and found out the hardware was faulty and unresponsive.
we are suppose to have a 100% service credit accordingly to their own literal rules SLA rules
but instead we get a measly 30% because they don't consider broken hardware as "downtime"
moving away from OVH as soon as possible.

There's no option for a refund.
I bought a server with personal plan, then upgraded it to pro to get SSH access to the server, and then when I realized there's no root access, I wanted to refund my services since they were useless to me.
There was no option for a refund after not even an hour after buying them. And you have to buy the plan for the whole year, so if you don't like it you lost 1 year worth of money.
Support pretends it doesn't see tickets.
