Extremely Poor Service & No Refund from OVH

I purchased a server from OVH about a week ago, but I never received the service. Instead, my order was placed into cancellation status without any explanation.

I tried multiple times to contact OVH support, but no one responded to my tickets or messages. It’s been over a week, and I still haven’t received my refund or any proper communication from their team.

This has been a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend OVH to anyone looking for reliable service or responsive support. I hope they resolve my issue soon and improve their customer care.

Company support quality is terrible. Their system is complicated, not easy to cancel all services, even harder to delete the account. In my case I contacted them one day after unwanted service renewal for whole next year, and they were unwilling to cancel the payment. Super unfriendly behaviour, like scam company. I even didn't know about this upcoming payment, because email used for this account was already inactive. And this didn't prevent them from charging me again. So service was not used for one year already, and without any notification they extended it for next year. I was not even able to close the services by phone. Avoid this company, total garbage, easy to find better alternatives!

Beware of OVH! They are scammers who use your ID card data! You create an account and do not have to provide any documents. You pay their invoices and also do not have to send any documents, you can delete data from the account and do not have to send any documents. You can delete the domain, emails or server and no documents are required. A level available to every good hacker. However, it is idiotic that if you want to close an account on their service, you have to send a scan of your ID card!!! IDIOTIC IDEA! It is supposedly GDPR compliant, but why something so idiotic when I want to close my own account! I can delete everything myself, but for him to close the account is some kind of paranoia.

You are a dramatic service with slow servers and only problems that cannot be solved quickly. After switching to another service, e.g. LH.PL, I have no problem!

But you can see from the opinions that I am not the only one who is right.

Uwaga na firmę OVH! To oszuści którzy wykorzystują twoje dane z dowodu osobistego! Zakładasz konto i nie musisz podawać żadnych dokumentów. Opłacasz ich faktury i również nie musisz wysyłać żadnych dokumentów, możesz usuwać dane z konta i nie musisz wysyłać żadnych dokumentów. Możesz usunąć domenę, maile czy serwer i żadne dokumenty nie są wymagane. Poziom dostępny dla każdego dobrego hakera. Natomiast idotyczne jest to że jeżeli chcesz zamknąć konto na ich serwisie to musisz wysłać skan dowodu osobistego!!! IDIOTYCZNY POMYSŁ! niby zgodny z RODO, ale po co coś tak idiotycznego kiedy chce zamknąć sam swoje konto! Sam mogę usunąć wszystko ale aby mógł zamknąć konto to jakaś paranoja.

Jesteście dramatycznym serwisem z wolnymi serwerami i samymi problemami które nie można szybko roziwązać. Po przejściu na inny serwis np. LH.PL nie mam żadnego problemu!
Ale widać po opiniach, że nie tylko ja mam rację.

No customer service, you can not talk to anyone. I tried very hard to phone or email or message this company without any results. There was a scam concerning ovh bills coming in that were not from ovh. I tried to contact the company without success. Then evidently there was a valid invoice that was sent and I tried to contact the company. Needless to say it ended poorly for me.

i would give zero starts if i could - tried multiple dedicated server products but after constantly needing more and more resources i determined they throttle your service whenever it suits them as you aren't getting the bandwidth they promise as ALL THEIR IP'S ARE ON BOTNET HIT LISTS - you will be constantly harassed by companies wanting you to pay to get off the spam lists (ALL OVH IP'S ARE ON THERE) you server will grind to a halt shortly after going live when the bots realise the ip address is up again- don't waste your money on OVH their support is abysmal and they just keep regurgitating endless clauses in a agreements nobody ever reads in the first place - they say they are giving you discounts but when you check they are just trying to lock you into extended length contracts - biggest bunch of crap in the dedicated metal marketplace - avoid like the plague

They tried to trick me into making several extra payments. Too buggy billing and account management.

It seems they are trying to whitewash their reputation by creating separate pages for their regional divisions here.

Be warned for OVH discounts, they trick you in multiple ways.
I got 5 vps servers with a discount, if i want the discount i have to pay a full year.
i did. but did not get anything. canceled is written no info no nothing. after contacting the support they claim to never got the money, and if they did they will return it in 29 days. this is zo offten with them that this is more than just criminal!!

I have used Dedicated Server from OVH and its reliable and fast I recommend OVh because they have guts to proofs their promise.

service is upto the mark. I already happy and loved to see support with quick automation escalation system.

I am very impressed with OVH dedicated server. The setup process was easy and they provide all documents regarding installing server.

I subscribed there starting plan for my website and I feel very good with there customer service and service plan. I recommend them to everyone.

This company is such a joke. When you ask for a reimbursement, they charge you three times the price of the website renewal, and you cannot remove your payment method. Additionally, I asked them to close my account, but they don't want to. The customer service is very poor. This is terrible. My advice: don't use OVH.
