“This store is not trustworthy

“This store is not trustworthy. I ordered a pair of training pants on February 5 and never received them. I wrote four emails and never got a reply. They even had the nerve to send me an email after a month asking how satisfied I was with the pants, even though I had complained four times. Even PayPal didn’t refund my money. So keep your hands off this shop.”

5 stars on everything, but 1 feedback

I was sad to see their store closed in Miami Beach so I had to order online as I know my size in the brands they carry. The website is well organized and designed, the prices are VERY cheap if you compare that they are not made in china or temu countries. I found the sizes i was looking for, also they gave me free shipping, my order was $125 but looks like they offer complimentary shipping all the time. Which is good.
Now the interesting part, I ordered some shorts from the brand Battysta, I ordered the wrong size, as soon as they arrived i notice the mistake as i compared with the invoice. So yes, I F** up, I contacted customer service Live Chat on the website, a person or look alike person named Oliver gave me the most amazing service and fast solution, they sent me the return label and i could exchange free of charge and they shipped my shorts.
So, in general 5 stars, service, website, price, free shipping, customer service, i just would recommend them to add more brands, i know they curate all this gay men products and only sale LGBT owned brands, but sometime we can add more things in the cart if you carry more brands.

I ordered an item for a gift

I ordered an item for a gift. The item never arrived. I notified the company and was told a replacement went out. Never received it. I contacted them again and was told that swimsuit is sold out. Chose a diffident one and was told it went out. It is now over a week and I still have not received it and the tracking info says the item was never brought to the post office for shipping.

Don’t buy from this company.

My own fault... I need to learn to trust these reviews

My own fault... I should have trusted the previous postings on here. Wanted to believe that maybe they were very isolated incidents, but now I am the fool who didn't listen.
Right before Christmas we put in an order online, but only after first emailing with Andres (the owner) to make sure the order would arrive before the holidays. We were not only assured that the order would go out that day, but even got sent a tracking number right away.
That's where the nightmare started. After a week, the package had still not been dropped off to the post office in Miami. We contacted Andres again, but this time heard nothing back. So we gave it a few more days and tried him again since the package still wasn't dropped off to ship yet. I tried to even track him down at his retail location in a hotel lobby, but the hotel's front desk kept reporting he wasn't there yet for the day (we're talking at 3pm and later for several days). The ONLY way we finally got him to respond was to threaten to file charges with PayPal and the Post Office's Inspector General for possible mail-fraud charges. (Literally had the report forms for both already filled out and ready to hit "send")
As expected, Andres wrote back an email within minutes this time; apologizing and giving a story of how the order must have gotten lost by the post office. He insisted that he was rushing us out a new order and that his crew even threw in a gift to apologize for the error.
Not going to lie, my mind was blown when a package showed up on Christmas eve. It was the right outfit I ordered for my husband; however I am not sure if the gift Andres was referring to was the satin bag the shorts were in?
I really debated whether or not to say anything after the supposed second package actually arrived because I wanted to give Andres the benefit of the doubt. However it kept bothering me that the "exact" same thing happened to me as the other people who posted here and I wasn't sure if I should warn others before they fell victim. Maybe there would be even more former OutFair customers posting on here if they knew abut this website? Unfortunately, if you just read the reviews on Google you might be confused that most of those customers went into the hotel store; not online shoppers.
I tried reaching out to Andres before writing this to ask him why the exact same thing keeps happening with online orders(verbatim) …and to actually let him know there was a retailer interested in carrying his swimwear (He owns the KBAYO brand on there...btw). Sadly, he chooses to ignore my emails since that one about the supposed lost post office package before Christmas. If I knew he was doing something to correct the repeated issue, I wouldn't even post this. So you can't say I didn't give him plenty of chances.
It's your call folks, but I would seriously warn about the online store. The pop-up shop at the Axel hotel in South Beach is probably your safer way to go if you just can't live without the clothes.

What a shame... Try and Pass it forward in the community and this is what you run into.

"If this happens to you , please post on here about what happened please?"

STAY AWAY FROM THEM

The thing that got me excited about ordering from Outfair is that they state that the are LGBTQ+ owned and that they support the LGBTQ+ community outside of the USA.

I ordered 2 swimsuits on November 3, 2019 and I really appreciated that I received an email from Andres Vasquez emailed the next day. He is one of the co-founders of Outfair who also happens to be the one who gave his own company a 5 star review here.......

I ordered the swimsuits because I was going on vacation and would be in FL (where they are located) and there website indicated they only had "one left," which is probably just a marketing scheme but if they have one left, they have one left. I have looked on their website a few times after and it still says "Hurry, only one left...". I sent an email on November 7th just to check to see where the 2 swimsuits were at in the delivery as I figured they would have already arrived or would be arriving on the 8th. (They mention a 2-3 delivery so if they received the order on the 4th... it should have been there by the 7th)

I did not receive a response until November 11th and that was probably only because I gave them a 1-Star review on their website, followed with another email to tell them how disappointed I was... and I received an email 20 minutes later. Andres Vasquez apologized for the terrible customer experience and thanked me for ordering. He said he would follow up with his team and get back to me in 30 minutes... DID NOT HAPPEN. I emailed on November 12th and he did not respond until November 13th with another apology and to mention that it got shipped to the wrong person who "opened the package and tried the swimsuits on." Andres Vasquez then offered a full refund and that they would ship out the swimsuits the following week as they need to wait for their factory to send out the next shipment.

Dun dun dun. I emailed a week later on November 20th to follow up because I did not receive a refund and I wanted to check on the when the swimsuits were being shipped out. Sent another follow up email on November 22nd... Nothing. Sent another email on November 25 - "I feel robbed and cheated from your lack of response..." And then Andres Vasquez responds not a minute later. (I wonder if he does this often and has the email ready to go and he just changes the name of the person he is screwing over). He thanked me for my order and my patience and gave me this half-a** excuse that they were going to refund and send the swimsuits at the same time and that there were protests happening in Columbia that prevented their factory from shipping out items. Then he proceeded to tell them ... "we have failed to invite our happy customers to review the products and the company, and after 5 years, getting 2 bad reviews, I think talk good about the company, no bad." The other reviews sounded exactly like my experience of buying and paying for items we never received to only have to go back and forth with them or lack thereof since Andres Vasquez takes forever to respond.

December 14th I have not received the refund or the swimsuits and sent another email stating they have lost all credibility with me.

January 7, 2020 (two months after I should have received the swimsuits that I ordered on November 3, 2019) I sent another email because I had to go through my back to get the refund.

Regardless on whether or not they are who they say they are and do what they say they are doing in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, they seem completely fine screwing over people and taking their money.
