While our emergency medical support is available 24 hours a day, all other services are provided Monday to Friday, 9am to 5am (UK time).

Add additional cover to policy

Wished to add additional cover to my policy and they made it very easy and looked at all options for me. Easy to add on for the rest of my trip whist travelling. Very helpful and good service.

Great experience booking travel…

Great experience booking travel insurance for my daughter. The person i spoke to you was very friendly and knowledgeable, was able to answer all bar one of the the (many) questions I had. The question they weren't sure about they consulted with colleagues without leaving me on hold indefinitely and came back with the information I needed. Not had experience of the claims service but hopefully it will be just as efficient.

Really understanding and helpful

Really understanding and helpful. I have used this insurance company twice and it’s always been great - best prices on the market aswell especially for backpackers.
I had a problem with cutting my trip short and the customer service was quick to respond and really helpful. I really appreciate it, thank you!

Would not recommend

Would not recommend.
Communication very poor, delayed and contradictive.

I was diagnosed by a doctor with chronic knee pain and further diagnosed by a physiotherapist with Patella Femoral Pain Dysfunction. I suffer with daily activities of simply walking up stairs and squatting movements and have constant aches and pain.

After providing 3 doctors reports, 2 physiotherapy referrals, and two physiotherapy reports, this company says I can wait until I'm home which they know won't be for a a couple of years.

They say they only see physio acceptable if pain has persisted for several months following the procedure of the NHS physio referrals...however they've been informed this pain has be present now for 6 months.
So now, they simply keep responding saying it's not a medical emergency.

They are doing all they can not to help assist me with treatment. Including ignoring my update medical reports from doctors.

I've had to pay for physio sessions out of my own pocket so I can get back to working.

We are sorry to hear about this unfortunate event, and hope you are recovering well. We have contacted our Emergency Medical Team, who have informed us that they have advised on multiple occasions that you would need to send them a medical report, detailing the referral and requirement for physiotherapy.

Once all documentation was received, and in accordance with your policy Terms and Conditions, they have advised you that the physiotherapy would not be covered on a private basis as it was not a medical emergency and you should have been opting to undergo treatment under the reciprocal health agreement.

They have also offered you a compensation due to poor communication, which you have accepted.

They have confirmed they have logged a complaint on your behalf, and they will contact you accordingly, once the complaint review is completed.
