We had asked Our Local Tour to arrange a trip to Portugal involving walking in the Douro Valley, followed by some time in Porto. The company were very pleasant to deal with, and attentive to our particular requirements. All the various hotels they arranged for us were excellent, and the schedule of pickups and transfers worked perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble. I would use this company again for another bespoke holiday.

We had a fabulous time on our trip to Uganda in July. Going to see the gorillas has been on our Wish List for many years, so it was great to finally see them, they did not disappoint 😊
We loved everything about the trip, our guide Jimmy was excellent and all our animal sightings were amazing. We loved the variety of walking experiences, game drives and boat trips. The accommodation was also very good

It beat all expectations and created memories that I will treasure for the rest of my life. I loved every minute of it. It was very well organised, all of the information was clear, the places we stayed were in stunning location, the people were great including who we travelled with. It was clear the money was going back into the local community and was helping to protect the wildlife that we went to see. I would go again tomorrow given the chance.

Our trip to Uganda was an amazing experience that far exceeded my expectations. Uganda is a varied, wonderful country with lovely people and packed with wildlife. Our tour was very well organised and our guide, Innocent, was very knowledgeable about the country, animals and birds and he was great company. We stayed in some great safari lodges which were a much higher standard than I’d expected. I particularly liked the shower with a view of the mountains in Bwindi and the bathroom looking out on trees full of birds in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. We shared our campfire with a group of hippos, walked amongst chimpanzees and spent an unforgettable time with a troup of mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. We also enjoyed visiting local villages and a school, finding out about village life and learning about local enterprises. We were warmly welcomed everywhere we went. It was a truly unforgettable trip.

A bespoke travel experience which met all of our requirements. Service was exceptional and the help and advice given was second to none. I will certainly be using this company again and will advise friends and family to use this wonderful, friendly company.

I recently returned from an unforgettable solo trip to Uganda and can’t recommend it enough! As a 65-year-old woman, I was initially a little apprehensive, but my fears were completely unfounded. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always ensured that I felt safe and comfortable. Witnessing the gorillas in their natural environment was a truly awe-inspiring experience. The lodges used were comfortable, and the itinerary offered a good balance of adventure and relaxation.

This company organised a trip to London for ourselves and two granddaughters from Northumberland.
They found an excellent price with a new rail company and the journey was very good, indeed, the non-important delay in arriving in London, due to circumstances out or their control, meant we had a full fare refund for the outward journey!

Our Local Tour organised our trip to Mallorca in April. They booked the flight accommodation and car hire. It was a great holiday and the accommodation was exactly what we wanted. Just perfect.
