Its all about service and quality. Pete has done an outstanding job for me on both.

Pete fresh roasts 3 days a week and goes out of his way to fit late orders into the roasting schedule (Thanks Pete!); He is passionate about his coffee (check those youtube videos). His selection of green beans is amazing, along with the equipment to make great coffee.

I've been doing business with Our Coffee Barn for several years. The Tanzania pea berry coffee beans I love arrive on my doorstep within a day or two after they're roasted. I've never been disappointed with the product or the service. I like buying my coffee at a small local family owned business.

I just needed Decoration coffee Beans for my daughter's wedding, they told me they would send a e-mail when some were available and they did, and shipped them very promptly, and we are not using them for drinking , but they do smell awfully good.

My family of 6 coffee drinkers runs through beans so fast that we average about 5lbs per two to two-and-a-half weeks. Even with that kind of consumption, I refuse to buy the 'cheap stuff.' Our Coffee Barn's coffee is as good as any I've had, and I've bought from countless highly-rated sources all over the country. The best thing about them is that their 5lb bag prices are the cheapest I've found for quality coffee. Plus, they only charge actual shipping charges. Every time I order and ship Priority Mail, they end up issuing me a credit for shipping. How many companies selling ANYthing give you money BACK if the shipping is a little high? For these reasons, I buy about 95% of my coffee from Our Coffee Barn whereas I used to rotate among 10 or 12 roasters. Their fair and reasonable prices and policies have made me a loyal repeat customer.

OCB has an amazing array of coffees. I have my favorites but I always try new blends and varieties. The service is
impeccable and shipping is fast and reasonable.
I love coffee and I would not buy it anywhere else

Twice now I have received coffee from this vendor that was not the coffee advertised. Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee at $37/lb seemed like a good price but what arrived was not JBM. No aromatics no sweetness just awful. I have had Navy coffee that was tastier than that mess. Likewise, an order of Mocha Java was extremely variable. Definitely MJ for about 1.5 lbs then the coffee nature changed dramatically to less aromatic and more acidic. Having consumed MJ as my daily coffee for over 20 yrs, I know what it tastes like and sometimes there is Mocha Java in my cup and some days not. Today is a "not" day. I do not know whether it is this vendor committing the fraud or his supplier. But be warned.

Today is an "on" day. However, it is because the pound of Java Estate is simply divine. I mixed it with the old variable mocha Java at precisely 2 mocha java to one Java estate and it produces a marvelous... cup of coffee, tongue coating, aromatic and complex with little "bite". Thanks Pete!

The coffee is great. All of the Papua New Guinea coffees have an unusual flavor that I really like. However, every other company that has sent me a 50 lb delivery of green coffee has sent it in sealed 5 or 10 lb plastic bags that I can put on my shelf and store. This 50 lbs arrived in a burlap bag. There are such things as coffee weevils, and because this is nearly a year's supply of coffee for me, I worry about stuff like that. I immediately started filling every big mason jar I had on hand.
