Michael the star!
This guy Michael Saved our trip. When we arrived to the airport everything was closed but on the internet it stod that it was open. In the middle of the night he came in to help us like a star. Fair prices, comunication was grate and the helpness was regardless. On our way home, when we returner the car, he even drove us to the airport. We highly recomend this rent a car company, and we will for sure rent here in next visit of creta!

The rental with otoQ through Michael and the Chania station staff was outstanding.. Prices were fair, the communication and helpful advice was prompt and courteous, and the car was in excellent shape. It was an awful experience renting
It was an awful experience renting a car with otoQ. Understanding that it is a must in Florida to have a insurance for third parties but not be charged 3X of market price for that, and in addition a 2 hours waiting in the front desk as an strategy to get desesperate and pay. And at the end receiving an email saying that there is no refund of your prepayment.

As our customer safety is the OtoQ priority, to ensure the insurance coverage meets legal requirements, not all external insurance products or certificates can be accepted. In some cases, additional fees may apply to ensure you have the necessary coverage during your rental.
If the customer's private insurance does not meet the terms and conditions of the mandatory requirements of the state, the customer is offered to make the payment locally at the counter. Otherwise, the vehicle will not be released. The safety of the customer can not be put under the risk as it is a safety measure.
In order to use the renter's own insurance, the customer must provide proof of TPL and CDW coverage in his/her own name, issued by one of the following companies: State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Geico, All State, Infinity, Progressive, USAA, Nationwide, e-surance, Farmers.
Insurance is accepted only if issued in the following country(ies): USA.
Renters must provide proof of their own insurance. Acceptable proof of insurance must include the insurance declaration page, Insurance, that is valid for at least 3 months before the pick up date, insurance declaration page, that matches with the home address on the driving license, Bodily Injury and Property Damage liability with not less than 300,000 USD limit.
For our customers safety and peace of mind, we require mandatory insurance coverage before releasing any vehicle. This provides essential coverage in case of unexpected events.
We would like to clarify that from your side no valid insurance was provided, which is why the supplier offered to you several options with varying deductibles to ensure transparency in our offerings. However, you chose not to proceed with the rental.
Regarding the waiting time at the front desk, we apologize for any inconvenience caused. The goal is to maintain a standard wait time of approximately 15 minutes between customers, and we will investigate to understand what led to the extended wait in this instance.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! The price sounds good until you try to pick up the car. I tried picking up the car at the Tampa location They said they only accept certain insurance companies, there were only 5 or 6 of them ( I have AAA, which they didn't accept), and the coverage must have $300k property damage coverage. They wanted to charge me an additional $400+ for their insurance coverage. It’s classic bait and switch. I walked, losing my prepaid rental, and still was able to save $300+ renting from another company not requiring additional insurance.
I tried appealing to OtoQ corporate for a refund. It was denied. But it seems they froze making reservations at the Tampa location after my complaint. Because the company is based out of Greece, I doubt I have any recourse.
Save yourself hassle, money and stress, avoid this company.

The best rent a car company otoQ
Very good company to rent a car next to airport of Chania. I have rent a small car. The web says small car as Fiat Panda or similiar and the company rent me Hyundai i10. It was cleaned and every fluid was filled to maximum. Documents to sign and pick up car was really fast. It took only 10 minutes and I was ready to go. There is number written in documents, so if you have a problem with car or accident, you can call to person from company and they will answer and help or just make a call and make a deal when you will transport a car, if you want to stay on holiday more days. The amount of fuel must be filled as you pick up a car, which was written in documents. My experience is really at highest level. If I fly again here, I will order car again, probably bigger one. I send 5 stars from Slovakia and I wish all the best from me.

Friendly, smooth, good!
A friendly, smooth, good car rental experience. (Chania airport (Crete)) Michael waited for us at the airport (meet and greet) and showed us the way (2 min walk) to the car rental office. The pick up and drop off was smooth, and fast. Michael is friendly and helpfull and drove me back to the airport departure terminal. Recommended!

Good experience
We rented a car in Chania (Crete) and the office was easy to find. There was a bit of waiting time when collecting but that’s expected.
The pickup / drop off was easy. Michael speaks good English therefore the communication was easy too.
The car we were given was nice to drive and had no issue with it.
We returned the car 3 days ago and waiting for the blocked money to be released. (Hence the 4Star review) Fingers crossed it’s only a technical issue.

Always hard to know which rental car company to pick as there are always so many horror stories. Michael made things very easy for us. Cheap rental and no issues. Even dropped us back to the airport.
