Ordered a lug nut cover puller for the covers on my dually truck. Received the tool and removed one cover with ease. Hovever, on the second cover, the tip of the tool that goes in the removal slot cracked and broke. After looking it over, it broke right across where the hole is for the countersunk mounting screw is. That told me that this part must be prone to breaking and it is made to replace. That is where I realized they did not stand behind their tools. They respond to the e-mail with another e-mail asking for numerous photos and receipts. I provided all of the information, not twice, but three times and now they don’t even respond. They do not stand behind their so called warranty and their customer service sucks. I will never buy another OTC tool again.

Two years co ago I bought a torx bit set off C of a cornwell truck and broke a T40 bit which I tried to warranty the bit on tool truck and he could not do it due to OTC doesn’t honor the tool truck warranty replacement. Called OTC directly and they would not warranty it either. Their tools are supposed to be lifetime warranty. I was told that they dont have the bit any longer but I could buy he whole set cd again if I wanted. What’s the point of buying tools and equipment from this company if they aren’t going to warranty anything. Especially a T40 bit. My suggestion is do not buy from this company ever use bless you like wasting your money on price and quality that has fallen by the wayside. I used to buy and like this company and it used to be revered as a good quality company for quality and workmanship. Buyer beware.

I ordered the OTC Tools 9850 6-Point Truck Wheel Bearing Lock nut Socket Set with Tool Board from Amazon. When I received my order it was not a complete set. I reached out to Amazon & the only thing they can do is have me return the set for a refund so I won't have the tools that I ordered & had to wait for. I also reached out to OTC Tools directly & they won't send me the missing parts either. I guess I'll return to Amazon for my money back & won't be buying anything that is OTC again. Just for a warning DON'T BUY THIS SET, YOU WILL NOT GET EVERYTHING THAT YOU PAID FOR!

Just sharing my experience with OTC tools. I purchased a 5605 deluxe compression tester from Amazon. They have an OTC store there. Within 6 months the tester failed. Even after attempts to replace the shradder valves. Also the release pressure button came off first use. I called OTC about warraty. I was told under warranty and in stock. However been weeks if not a month at time of writing this and communication has stopped with no warranty tool in sight. I did every thing they asked. Proof of purchase and pictures of failed gauge. The warranty is horrible. Lifetime warranty or limited warranty translates to will be a lifetime before they actually give the warranty.

OTC is a subsidiary of Bosch. I own quite a few OTC and Bosch products. I have been very satisfied with their products; however, this satisfaction ended with their customer service. In April of 2023, I ordered a replacement ball joint adapter from Auto Tool World. At the time of the order I was given the price and shipping cost for the tool. The month is now October, and I have no tool. I have been given a sea of excuses. Supposed back orders, warehouse problems, and now I'm being told the part has been discontinued. Why was I strung along so long? I can't separate fact from fiction. Should you purchase any OTC tool set I say best of luck.

I recently purchased the OTC code reader with ABS and code connect model 3210. OTC claims the tool will do an ABS auto bleed cycling the ABS pumps. This is false the tool will not perform this function. After purchasing the tool for over $400 I tried to perform this function and I soon realized that all the tool actually does is walk a beginner through a basic brake bleeding procedure of the calipers. If you are looking at purchasing this tool to do an ABS control unit auto bleed do not buy this tool it will not do the functions like OTC claims. I contacted the tech-support department several times and they are not knowledgable whatsoever about their product. After speaking with tech-support they told me that there may be an update necessary for my tool so I spent several hours trying to download the updates which kept informing me that there was no updates available for my tool, at which point OTC tech department said their server was having difficulties. I at first thought this was ridiculous that the tool would advertise it does this function and immediately right out of the packaging it needs an update to perform this function, but I figured maybe this was the problem. After two days of trying to install the updates I talked with tech-support again then realizing that they were trying to have me download an update from 2017 and the burn date on the tool was 2019 so in fact there was no update available for my tool It had the latest update already installed and again does not perform an ABS auto bleed. Their tech-support was unhelpful and did nothing but waste several hours of my time trying to download a two year old update. So I tried to return the tool to Napa where it was purchased they say they cannot return the tool because it’s a electronic item.I understand that policy but when I emailed OTC specifically to double check that this tool would do an ABS auto bleed before I purchased the tool and verified that it would perform this function on my specific vehicle then when it won’t do this function I feel that there should be some exception and they should return this item. I would never buy anything from OTC again this tool is useless other than as a basic code reader which I could have purchased for half of the price. Buyer beware I would not recommend this tool at all. Do not waste your money on this tool like I did. I don’t think that OTC even understands what an auto brake bleed is really supposed to do.

This seems a really well made tool set. If you work on hydraulic cylinders or aircraft struts, you might need this tool kit
