Oseyo-Victoria

Oseyo-Victoria.
The cashier wouldn't stop following me in that shop. As a black person I found this extremely racist! He literally had to run back to the till to take my payment. I'll never go back there again! Trust me!

Extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with Oseyo’s new Sheffield store opening today.

Their promotion stated that the first 100 customers spending £10 or more would receive a free VIP bag. Nowhere in the advertisement did it mention that the offer was restricted to adults only.

I went to the shop with my daughter and we queued outside from 8:30am in the cold, wet, and stormy weather, waiting patiently until the doors opened at 10am. My daughter was also there to shop for herself and willing to spend £10 or more. However, when we entered, the staff refused to give her a redeem ticket simply because she is not an adult. This was never stated in any of Oseyo’s marketing or promotional materials.

It is completely unfair that she was excluded from the offer after queuing for so long in terrible weather. Children are also customers—they make purchases, they wait in line, and they endure the same conditions as everyone else. To deny them without any prior notice feels misleading and disrespectful.

This experience has left us with a very negative impression of Oseyo. If you promote an offer, you must be transparent about the rules. Otherwise, customers waste their time and feel cheated.

I want to warn others to be very cautious about Oseyo’s so-called promotions. They clearly do not deliver what they advertise, and families especially should think twice before putting children through such experiences for nothing.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable.

Oseyo Arndale Manchester, out of date product…

Went to Oseyo in the Arndale Manchester 7/8/25, got home and 4 out of the 7 items I bought were out of date, not even by a few days, most of them were out of date from march 25
Very disappointing as I work within the food industry and I know this would not be acceptable in our business

Bad experience for visiting this Korean supermarket

Today, I visited the Korean supermarket at the Manchester Arndale Centre and was disappointed with my experience. I drove over an hour because my mother had seen a 2.5kg bag of Korean noodles advertised for £6.59. However, when I got to the checkout, the price scanned at £9.15. When I showed the staff a photo of the advertised price, they told me that the tag was incorrect and that I would have to pay the higher price if I wanted to buy the product.

The situation was eventually escalated to a manager, who initially insisted on the higher price despite the mislabeling. It wasn't until further discussion that they admitted the discount tag was left up by mistake. While I understand that errors happen, most supermarkets would honor the displayed price in such situations. The lack of accountability here was disappointing, especially considering the time and effort I spent to make the trip.

To make matters worse, one of the staff members was particularly rude during our interaction. As a long-time supermarket customer, I have never been treated this way before. I hope that the management can improve both the accuracy of pricing and the professionalism of their customer service.

This experience has left a very negative impression, and I will think twice before returning.
