The caftans I bought were described as…

The caftans I bought were described as 40% linen and 60% cotton. They are not. They are 100% viscose. Then followed a ridiculous email exchange where ‘Sophie’ tied herself in knots trying to explain the misrepresentation, ranging from the manufacturers making an error in their labelling to trying to claim that viscose was 100% natural fibre. This company lies. Buyer beware! I finally got a refund of £60.

100% rip off = Cheap nasty products.

Extremely false marketing on social media.

Fabric is not cotton/linen mix. Very poor quality, badly overlocked and virtually see-through. Not fit for intended purpose as outdoor wear for disabled lady.

Very poor customer service unable to provide return address or facilitate free return labels or refund due to low quality products and false advertising/marketing claims. They’ll ghost you.

Opened a claim with my bank for a refund which they are now facilitating on my behalf

Avoid this false unregistered company and their fake worthless products. RIP OFF Merchants

You may not get your caftan

Last year I bought a couple of caftans from them. I like them very much.
Several weeks ago I ordered Buy 2 get 1 free. Eventually one arrived. There is no more tracking and no more parcel delivery.
I have emailed customer support several times and not a single response from them. If I could have a reply about out of stock or any response at all I would feel better.
Save your money, don't buy from them. Ebay and Amazon have caftans too and at least you will get them

Very very disappointed

I ordered 3 caftans as Ornella got such good reviews on Trustpilot. They came, tried them on, loved them, washed one and it shrunk. After contacting them many times through their website, no reply, I sent the 3 of them back (at my own expense) with the original tags. Few weeks later and still no correspondence from them they sent the same 3 caftans back, I knew they were the original ones are I had written on the tags. Contacted them again and still no response. Very very disappointed, this is now in the hands of my credit card company.

Floaty and colourful

The caftan took a while to arrive. However, I really like it. It suits me as I am tall. It is floaty and I would image cool in summer. I like the pockets, the bright colours, silky fabric and flattering profile.

Ordered from this company January 16th…

Ordered from this company January 16th 2026. Never received order. Emailed company and they claimed my order had been delivered on February 2. I asked for proof of delivery and they sent me a tracking number. I entered the tracking number and delivery company said there was no information for that tracking number to contact vendor. At this point I opened a dispute with my credit card company.

Poor workmanship

I have ordered - and received some caftans which I am happy about (apart from being a bit too long as I am short), so I ordered 2 dresses which arrived. However, I haven't had the opportunity to wear them, I ordered them last year but tried one of them on this weekend to discover the left hand pocket is a right hand pocket so wrongly inserted! I have emailed the customer service - having attached a photo of the offending garment - twice and received no reply despite their website declaring they reply within 24hrs.
I'm quite happy with the other dress and was considering buying more but this has put me off and I won't be buying anything more from them.

BEWARE

I would caution anyone considering ordering from this company to reconsider. I ordered items for my fiancé's Christmas gifts and, upon checking to ensure they were being delivered as per their terms, I discovered that the order had been sent to the wrong address. When I contacted the company via email, the response I received was drenched in faux sad tears and I was directed to contact the delivery company to resolve. It took three days to access the delivery company's site. By the time I was able to get through they had already delivered my package to the wrong address. I may be off in my thinking but I expect... DEMAND... a vendor I have patronized and given my money to taking the necessary steps to contact THEIR delivery partner and get the situation sorted. Whoever handles their deliveries are THEIR partner, not mine, and I believe it is incumbent upon them to handle communications. My fiancé did not receive her Christmas gift and, despite several attempts to contact the people to whom my package was delivered, they have so far declined to bring my package to the proper address which, by the way, is right around the corner. I expect a company's customer service to handle such things. Needless to say, I will never order from this company again and would strongly advise you to look elsewhere if you want a gift for someone you care about.

If I could give zero I would

If I could give zero I would.
I was given an ornella caftan as a gift about a year ago and I loved it so much that I bought two more for myself. I have had no issue with two of them. The third, however, shrunk significantly in the wash to the point that it is not comfortable to wear. If I had only one caftan, I would think it was me doing something wrong to it, but the other two have survived the same treatment.
I contacted Ornella many times and had a short email exchange when they asked me to send a photo of the shrunk caftan, which I did. Since then, despite numerous follow-up emails - I have had no reply.
I can honestly say that I have never been treated so poorly by a company. I have essentially been ghosted. The customer service has been so terrible.
My advice is to AVOID this company. The product is lovely, until you get one that isn't. Then the customer service treat you like dirt.

I received my Caftan but it was not as pictured

I received my Caftan but it was not as pictured in their ads. The neckline was not a deep V and there were no slits at the bottom of dress. They allowed a return but did not send a return label so I ended up paying for shipping twice. The item should be as pictured in ad...if not they should refund including shipping costs.

Very disappointed

The caftan took nearly 2 months to arrive. The company wouldn't answer whether they are made in the UK despite having a UK address. I never have to wait this long for a UK parcel to arrive. Although the fabric is labelled linen/cotton mix it looks and feels more like viscose. There are no pockets which I would have expected and the garment could have been easily made up by a child. Very disappointed

This is not a natural fabric Kaftan

I knew from previous reviews that delivery time can be long. Mine was nearly 3 weeks but I was OK with that. My issue is that the caftan is definitely not a cotton/linen mix and therefore not worth the price paid
Have read other reviews querying the material. Surely UK Trades Discription people should be looking into this?

Why are they hiding and not providing information.

I emailed this company 3 times asking for a tracking number & courier name, and their 2 replies fobbed me off and gave me no tracking number or courier name. On the second email they did say that the parcel was coming from outside the country so I can only assume it is coming from China - I asked where it was coming from on my third email but have had no reply. The reason for my thinking is that they purport to be a UK company ie email address has UK in it, and the address given on their website is London but appears to be an address that you pay them to be your registered company address not their offices. Their email tells me to use the tracking on my order but this tells me nothing, it is not linked to the courier (& therefore the parcel) and anyone could design this so that it just keeps saying 'On the Way' but without any link it is useless.
When you add up all this deceit I can only reach an unfavourable conclusion, and judging by the reviews here about poor quality of product when it does turn up I am even more disconcerted.
There is no reason not to provide a tracking number (all parcels have this and can be tracked by anyone in any country) and not to be completely clear about where the parcel is coming from if you are a reputable company with nothing to hide, sadly I have not received this information. If the parcel turns up I will update my review.
EDIT: I had no reply from this company. The parcel arrived within the time they stated and the kaftan is very nice, which is why I have increased the stars from one to three. I would have happily ordered more but I will not purchase from a company who will not be honest and provide the information you ask for.

I've ordered a caftan from this company. It's over a week late. No contact from the company. No phone number to ring. They say it's been delivered it hasn't? My ring doorbell confirms that. Company no help what so ever.

Fantastic quality and service

I ordered two items, they arrived one week after ordering, beautiful colours fabric and quality. I highly recommend, I can’t wait to wear them with wedges and accessorise with long jewellery, I’m going to look fabulous 🥰

I purchased 2 and so happy with the quality i ordered I further 3,when they arrived one of them had a fault in the dye, I contacted the company and without hesitation said they would send me a replacement. Many thanks. Highly recommend.

Great Kaftan!

I love the colour of the kaftan, it's red but a rich ruby red not scarlet. The fabric is really lovely too. The fit is good, nice length and well sewn. The company responded promptly when my order hadn't arrived and I felt they appreciated my custom. The kaftan was packed in a reusable bag, great for travelling. I love it and am considering a second purchase.

Lovely caftans, excellent customer service

I ordered 8 caftans and 7 arrived. Customer service quickly arranged for the missing caftan to be sent to me. The service was exemplary.

Each caftan is a vibrant colour that cannot be fully appreciated online. The pieces appear to be well made in soft cotton, and I look forward to wearing them during many summers.
