While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

About Oriscent

Written by the company

Oriscent offers the finest luxury oud oil, wood, and perfume. We distill incense-grade batches of various species of agarwood from legendary jungles like Nha Trang (Vietnam), Malinau (Borneo), and Pursat (Cambodia) to name but a few.

Our clients also have access to the rarest collection of kinam on the planet, that spans the breadth of both Japanese and Chinese schools.

Additionally, we occasionally offer truly peerless perfume compositions replete with such rare materials.

Anyone can produce oud. In fact, everyone seems to be trying to do so nowadays. But this is a craft that is not learnt overnight, and it took a severe affliction of OCD and prodigious mentors to turn Oriscent into the most highly regarded artisanal oud house in the world.

Oriscent ouds are a labor of love. The operation is entirely self-funded, so we have no partners to answer to. We can choose to tempt bankruptcy for the sake of a new project, as we’ve done many times with single distillations that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
