Love this brand - bought 3 different pair. Will buy more when they get new styles. Good quality leather and craftsmanship. Well worth the price. Very comfortable for barefoot shoe enthusiasts.

Excellent customer service
When my shoes arrived they were a little small so I exchanged them. The process was fast and easy and I got my replacement pair quickly!

The Huarache shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own! It took about a week for them to stretch and form to my feet but now they are seriously my favorite pair of shoes. The sizing guide is spot on so definitely use that and be okay with a little tightness for about a week until they stretch out. Then they are fantastic. Keep the ankle straps. I have high volume feet with sloped toes and mildly wide at the metatarsal heads.

The design of the shoes is beautiful; however, the leather on the left shoe, on the very front, appears to be in poor condition, with noticeable wrinkles. The right shoe is perfect. I've decided not to return them because I live in Europe, and the process would be too lengthy. It was a risk I knew I was taking when I placed the order.

I've only bought one pair of shoes from this company but I was happy with the communication during the ordering process, and the quality and fit of the shoes. They seemed wider than advertised which was a plus for me and fit my high volume foot well. I would definitely order from Origo again.

Shoe sizing seems off. I first got a 11 1/2 which swemed huge. I exchanged for a 11 and that seems pretty snug in the toe and still preet loose in the heel and ankle area. Rhis particular shoe.is limited in how much you can snug down the laces. Pretty dissapointed in this purchase as they look great but are unwearable.

Love the look of the shoes but owwie owwie they hurt so bad the first couple times I’ve worn them, I’m a true 7 or 37 in all my shoes and they are sooo tight I know leather stretch’s out but they are a full size small

I bought the Women’s Double Strap Mary Jane shoes from Origo as a Christmas gift for my partner. She’d wanted these shoes for a long time but had avoided ordering due to the high shipping cost to Australia. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a huge mistake.
When she opened the box on Christmas Day, the smell was immediate and overwhelming. An extremely strong chemical odor hit her straight away. We assumed it might be from being sealed during shipping, so we left the box open to air out. Days later, the smell hadn’t improved at all — it was so strong it would stink out an entire room. Even after briefly trying them on, the smell lingered on her feet until she had a shower. I can’t overstate how intense and unpleasant it was.
Naturally, we reached out to Origo to ask whether this smell would fade over time. No response. I followed up using the contact form on their website in case the original email hadn’t gone through. Still nothing. In the meantime, we left the shoes airing out in a spare room, hoping they’d degas. They didn’t.
After reading their international return policy, we decided to swallow the cost of return shipping just to get a refund. I emailed again, clearly stating we were willing to pay to send them back. Once again — no reply. Three emails, zero response, and absolutely no customer service.
Only after this did I dig deeper into reviews and found multiple people reporting similar issues. I wish I’d done that earlier.
At this point, I can’t recommend Origo to anyone, especially international customers. Between the overpowering chemical smell and complete lack of communication, this company feels like a total waste of money. If Origo reaches out and genuinely makes this right, I’d be happy to update this review — but until then, I’d strongly suggest avoiding them altogether.
Update:
Interestingly, on the same day this review was posted, Origo finally responded to one of my emails and offered a full refund — provided we pay the return shipping to the US. This was after three unanswered emails sent over several weeks.
While I appreciate the response and the refund offer, the timing doesn’t change the fact that there was no communication until a public review was posted, nor does it address the original issue with the overpowering chemical smell. I’m still disappointed with the overall experience, but I wanted to update the review to reflect this development, as promised.
High quality and well made, comfortable out of the box. Nice speed hooks and waxed laces, free dust bags are also appreciated. Looks easy to resole as well

Sandals were delivered quick. They are beautifully constructed and so comfortable. I can’t wait to wear them on my upcoming vacation.

Though the shoes are cute, they smell so bad. I had to keep opening windows and running a purifier because they reeked for two weeks. Also, they make creaky noises when I walk.

I finally found a boot shaped like my feet. It is unbelievable how comfortable they are from the first moment you put them on. This leather is incredibly soft and I anticipate frequent oiling and buffing to even out the scuffs and scratches.

These were my first pair of barefoot shoes. I had decided to try out Origo because I like the style of the Retro sneakers. At first the shoes were great, loved how they felt, wore them a lot. Within two months the insole began to fall apart completely. Turns out they also sew in the insoles so that you can't just take them out and replace them! Very shortly after, a hole began to rub in the same spot on the sole of the shoe, makes sense it's a high impact spot. $110 for give or take 5-6 months worth of wear? I've had splays that were cheaper and last longer. I am wearing nearly 2 year old Vivo's as a write this! Not shoes worth buying. Check out other brands!
I got a pair of Origo Two Strap Mary Jane and New Derby! They're cute and great quality. I went with the size 37 for my 23cm x 9.2cm feet and they fit well. I could have sized up to a 37.5.

The Anya huarache sandal is wonderful. Well designed, comfortable, stylish, versatile. It am very glad I bought it. I had some problems with sizing, and I don’t think the size chart was accurate. Hopefully they have fixed that. My foot measurement is 24.2 cm and I originally went with a 7.5 Womens, but was too short. The size 8 Womens was perfect!
I had to make an exchange for the right size, and therein lies my disappointment. I had a horrible customer service experience. Lack of responses, lack of clarity, lack of communication, and a tone of condescension. After many back and forth emails with Zach, I was left feeling like an annoyance in my attempts to get the size and style I wanted. It was enough to turn me off completely from buying from Origo again. It’s a shame, but good customer service is important.
Again, it’s a great shoe. I enjoy mine and wear them constantly. But you’d better be sure you get your size right the first time.

Contacted customer service as their international shipping options were incorrectly calculating import duties, they did nothing about it, lost a customer.
