Was looking for ice molds and as usual, advertisements started popping up on instagram. Wasn’t disappoint with my purchases! What a great product for whiskey lovers, not to mention the comments I get on how nice and clear the ice is for my other whiskey loving guests. Customer support is very friendly and helpful too. Won’t hesitate to purchase more in the future. Great work team!
I bought the Glazer Mini through Kickstarter. I really liked the idea of what it can do.
I then got it, and I was disappointed because I couldn't make clear ice cubes like it was intended to.
I was then sent the Clear Ice Cap.
I was excited to try again. The cap was what I needed. Now my ice cubes are clear.
I am now inspired to use the Glazer Mini again.
Love the Halo smoker, so much so, I ordered 2 more (1 for each son)! Ori Future is a great company to work with. I had lost my combustion tray to the smoker and submitted a query to find out how to get a replacement. They responded by saying they found my order for 2 more smokers and included some trays in that order. I didn't ask them to do that, they just did it on their own. That is GREAT Customer Service. Thank you Ori Future!
Very personalized experience from a sales process. What stands out above everything else is the quality of the product.
There are many options promoted on-line. This one works. The ice is Crystal clear every time.
The designs are great. I got my first mold last year as a gift and have since bought 3 more with different molds. Ori Future has improved the quality of the molds and the plastic cups considerably in just this short time. Very impressed.
I have always been weary of purchasing from any advertising on social media. This product far exceeded my expectations. The cubes truly come out glass clear. Also the few interactions that I’ve had with their customer service were answered promptly and professionally. I will definitely purchase from this company again.
Their products perform exactly as ORI Future promises, and the customer service is outstanding. I own six of their Glazer Mini molds and have purchased several more as gifts. They’re a must‑have for any whiskey enthusiast.
I got the Ice Press master bundle. It has everything you could need or want. I was amazed that even with normal tap water my finished ice products were completely clear, no need for boiling or using distilled water. I only had one small issue with the product but the company took care of it immediately. Very pleased so far. If you don’t want to spring for the master bundle, at minimum get the press and one or two of the clear ice molds that produces the 3 inch squares. This is the minimum needed I believe. The tray is nice to have the water somewhere to go while the ice is melting but you could probably do it in the sink if it is near power. It would be a lot messier for the unit too. You also need ice tongs to pull the sphere or whatever shape out of the hot ice mold, but if you have one already you should be good. Would definitely recommend!
I have been very happy with my molds.
I have: sphere, cube, D20, and rose.
I’m very successful in making clear ice. I use reverse osmosis water and let it set at room temp before putting in the freezer. No boiling!!
I’ve been a supporter of Ori Future with their ice mold Kickstarter and later their Halo Smoker, so I’ve had a front‑row seat to how thoughtfully they design their products with quality and creativity.
Every piece I’ve purchased from them has been built with care and their ice mold produces beautifully clear, clean‑looking ice that instantly elevates any drink—cocktails, mocktails, even just sparkling water. It’s impressive how consistently it works, and the smaller format is perfect for everyday use without sacrificing that premium look.
Ori Future has a knack for making bar tools that feel both innovative and reliable. If you enjoy well‑crafted drink accessories that add a touch of refinement, their products are absolutely worth it.
Product makes great clear ice, even using tap water. There is some minimal work that may need to be done {i.e. letting ice melt a bit so that is not so "dry) to make the ice "drink-ready" but the results are amazing. The slight downside is that it does take about 24 hours for each piece (so plan ahead for parties) and also some of the shapes offered are rather largeish for some drinkware. This is still a great product for clear ice that is very inexpensive compared to other like others in this market.
Love the product and the ease of removal plus the designs are great!
Bought several as gifts and they were a hit!
Seeing the ad campaign, I had to try them. I have the Christmas pack with Santa, snowman and a tree. All are very detailed! you have to use bottled water, also let it freeze for at least 24 hours. Set it and forget it. When it's done and you crack it open, Wow! It was so cool! Hit of the party! And it lasted a pretty long time! It's a big hunk of clear ice! It's pretty wild! Now when we host, it's a race to see who can get to them first!! The containers are like a beer can in your freezer, they fit well for me! I can't wait to try non holiday versions. I'm hooked!
At first I used softwater. Came out a little cloudy. Then used filtered reverse osmosis water came out clear with some air bubbles. Found best results with distilled water
I personally have 6 glaser minis and have given several more to friends. The mini Glaser is great for clear ice dabblers and aficionados both. The silicone mold and insulating tumbler allows even plain tap water in your normal freezer to create relatively clear ice in 24-36 hours. Especially when compared to non-insulated molds or ice trays. But if you want truly clear ice, Orifuture has a guide that gives great advice on how to adjust your individual setup. On the orifuture website click the the lines to see the menu, click support, support again, click Handbook of Glaser Mini, scroll down to View the Advanced Guide.
A quick guide: To get that truly clear ice there are 2 main factors. Water purity and temperature of the freezer.
Water with too many minerals freezes cloudy and water with too few minerals can freeze oddly resulting in lines through the ice. I've found that a mix of about 1/4 spring or tap water and 3/4 distilled water brings the amount of minerals to the perfect level to get extremely clear ice. You may need to adjust the ratio based on your local water.
The temperature of the freezer is probably the harder factor to adjust for most people. -15c or 10f is an ideal temperature for making clear ice but it is warmer than the average freezer. This temperature allows the ice to freeze slowly pushing the minerals and dissolved air to the bottom of the plastic liner and out of the mold.
I bought the Glazer mini set and it makes the perfect sphere! You just need to make sure to follow the steps properly and it turns out great every time!
I‘ve bought the Christmas pack and they are really awsome. My guests were really astonished about the quality and the details of the shapes. I recommend Ori Future. I live in France, I‘ve ordered 3 times yet and every Time without Problems. I also got 2 silicone ice bags and the smoker. You will not get better quality for your Money!
98% clear no matter tap, filtered tap. Bottom of mold area maintains a cloudy area. Not complaining about the 98% clarity for the price of these I could just use Amazon $15 round molds which I already have. There is a limit to how important it is to spend money on clear ice balls but it's almost like chasing your tail.
I was disappointed to get 3 Christmas designs but they have contacted me and I just misunderstood it was by themed boxes box, so my bad. Customer service was fast and they were easy to deal with. The ice turns out the clearest I’ve got from ice makers. I’m going to want the press next. Thanks
The product is fantastic and gives really clear ice if you follow the instructions. Customer support has been excellent. Delivery was in line with expectations.
Delivery was a little long ( 2 weeks and couple days ) but 100% worth it. I only go one but now want to get another one now because I think they definitely add a certain type of finesse to your drink
