Written by the company

Orchard Fostering was established in 2008; since then we have become the largest Irish-owned independent provider of high quality foster care services, working in partnership with Tusla to provide children and young people with a positive care experience. More than a decade later we have close to a hundred wonderful foster carer families that provide excellent care to their foster children. The head office is based in Dublin but we provide foster care to children and young people across the Republic of Ireland. We provide foster care and support lodgings to a wide range of children and young people of all ages and cultures with a variety of different needs. Our staff have grown too over the period and we now have a multi-disciplinary team of over 30 staff. We have investing heavily in building our therapeutic team to provide necessary wrap-around services for the children in our care and have a well established social care team who can offer play therapy and many other supports. We offer psychotherapy and educational therapy to provide the support that our foster carers and children require to achieve the best outcomes. At Orchard Fostering we are pride ourselves on levels of supports we provide to our foster carers and young people. Our vision is a child-centred service. Our goal is to recruit and support carers who can care for children and young people who cannot live with their birth parents for a period of time. Our mission is our dedication and genuine passion for child welfare and supporting carers. We pride ourselves on knowing our carers and recognising the contribution they make towards a lasting difference in the lives of the children and young people in their care.

Amazing organisation

Best thing I ever did was foster with Orchard fostering! They make the transition so smooth and care for all parties involved. We’ve been working with them for years and couldn’t recommend them more!

Great team in Orchard

Could not recommend Orchard Fostering enough. From registering with them, the team were so patient and understanding in answering any questions we had. As a family they supported myself and my husband and they provide a wide of support and services to the children in our care.
