Worst agency please stay from it.

I am an International student at neoma reims. I am facing problem since the day, I enter the house so many things are broken. Room is so dirty. Now, I am mailing them to change the bed because it is small that only a child can sleep on it. The other main problem of room heating. Room heating is not working If I raised a problem on their portal they are closing it by only sending suggestions and didn't respond properly. Their looters.

I recently moved to Toulouse

I recently moved to Toulouse, France on short notice, and needed to quickly find a place to stay. I found one on HousingAnywhere, and was then connected to Oqoro, where my move-in process was quite straightforward. They were prompt with responses and accommodated the requests I had made when moving in. Overall, a reasonably simple and convenient way to find a new home.

BUNCH OF SCAMMER

dont ever use this company, they are bunch of scammers, they never respond to our complain except if its about the money for them. Also they deduct 157 euro from my deposit because of something that’s been there from before my inventory entry, and when i complain they dont respond. Also i don’t get my keys for about 11 days since i arrive in france (THEY DONT RESPOND TO MY EMAIL) when i already paid for the room.

Regarding your deposit, Our job is to maintain the homes entrusted to us by owners over time.
We return dozens of security deposits every week, and in most cases without any deductions, since the property has been returned to its original condition.

If, however, the property is unusually dirty or damaged, we have to withhold the deposit. Neither we nor the landlord are happy about this, and we have no financial interest in keeping the security deposit; on the contrary, our interest is in being able to return it as quickly as possible.

Our managers will take over your file and get back to you as soon as possible.

Absolutely Avoid This Company – They Do Not Care About Tenants…

I really wish there's a zero star option. I moved into one of their properties 10 days ago, and it's been a nightmare from day one. There has been no hot water since I moved in, and the place reeks. This is not a place where anyone should be living, in my opinion.

For 10 days, I have sent around 20 emails requesting basic assistance to fix the hot water issue, and I’ve received absolutely zero support. Not a single person has come to inspect or resolve the situation. When someone did come for the inventory check-in, they couldn’t answer even the most basic questions about the property, leaving me completely in the dark.

I am writing this review before I’ve even left the apartment because I have completely lost faith in this company. I don’t care anymore about the risk to my deposit—I feel it’s more important to warn others about this abysmal service.

The pictures they use to advertise the apartment looked fantastic, but the reality is a nightmare. It’s not even 10% of the quality they promise, and once you’re in, they do not care about you. No support, no communication, no decency.

I strongly urge anyone reading this review: do not rent from this company. I repeat, after the most careful consideration, do not rent from them. They do not care about their tenants, and they do not deserve to be in business. If I had the resources, I would sue them for the way they’ve handled situation.

Update on 10.10.2024: I first posted a review on 21st September after what can only be described as the worst rental experience of my life. I moved into one of Oqoro’s properties on 11th September and left by 27th September—yes, I had to leave because the place was simply unlivable. There was no hot water from the moment I arrived, the place stank, and despite sending over 25 emails requesting help, I received zero support.

But now, things have reached an even lower point. After leaving the apartment, not only did Oqoro fail to resolve the issue, but they also have the audacity to demand rent payments. The emails they are sending me are like those of hungry hyenas who haven’t been hunted for a month. All this, while the issue remains unresolved to this day.

The person (I had to redact the name) who's been handling my case in particular, has been the worst offender and an absolute pinnacle of unprofessionalism. She has been shamelessly handling this case for 30 days and has done nothing to resolve the situation, but she’s quite efficient at sending emails asking for money. Her lack of professionalism and the nerve she has shown throughout this ordeal is staggering.

To anyone considering renting with Oqoro, stay away. They are nothing more than money-grabbing frauds who care nothing for their tenants. The conditions of the property were disgusting, and their support was nonexistent. The only thing they excel at is demanding rent payments for services they never provided.

Avoid Oqoro at all costs if you value your time, money, and sanity. They will happily take your money but offer you nothing in return.

Update from 8.01.2025. Months after my ordeal with this absolute flaming mess of an agency, someone still reached out asking for the rent, (which they have already deducted from my entire deposit). At this stage I'm confused if they're just lazy unprofessionals or evil on purpose.

Extremely unprofessional and dishonest. STAY AWAY!

The company abuses international students who can't visit the accommodation before renting. They show flashy pictures with a 3D tour to fool you into renting. But it's far from reality.

The only way to contact them is through email. And good luck getting a response from them. If your request is something they don't like, they just outright ignore you.

Reservation:
They only care about money.
They did not respond to any of my requests from Studapart for a month. But the second I showed them my credit card, they accepted my request in just 1 hour!!!
I requested to rent from the 1st of September they agreed and then changed my lease to the 2nd without asking me and threatened me that I would lose my reservation if I didn't sign in 24 hours. No matter how much I told them to fix it, they just ignored me!!!!

Moving in:
The "Etat des lieux" was done beforehand by the agent without me and then he just handed me his phone and said in broken English "Sign here to confirm I gave you the keys" and mentioned nothing that this was the inventory list!!!! imagine my surprise when I go to the website and see the signed document there! With 3 pages of things that don't even exist here!!!!

Living condition:
The kitchen is extremely dirty.
*The oven is covered in soot and smells horrible. It's completely unusable.
*The freezer is half filled with frost and extremely dirty.
*The sink and dishwasher pipes are clogged and unusable.
*The hardwood floor is covered in black mold and burnt oil
*The cupboards and walls have not but cleaned in years.
*Half the lights are broken.
*The internet doesn't work and when I ask my roommates about it, they say it's been broken for 4months!!!! And when we ask about it, they put the blame on the owner.

When I tell them about the state of the apartment they say "It's because of lack of maintenance by the roommates. I could send them a reminder to clean". If you're advertising me a clean house then I'm expecting a clean house. You should make sure about the sanitation before moving in! A reminder to roommates isn't going to clean this house. This needs professionals!
I'm paying 100€ for utilities and a premium for the rent because the house is "furnished". But I have to order out because I can't cook in the kitchen and buy extra cell data because I don't have WIFI at home!

The only thing I will give credit to them is that my room was clean and the bathroom and WC were acceptable.

I will be moving out as soon as I find another place!

This agency is completely money-hungry

This agency is completely unprofessional and money-hungry. They charged me €129 for a broken window handle that I had absolutely nothing to do with, without even investigating who caused the damage. On top of that, they charged me twice for the same kitchen board—€13 twice—when the actual item costs only €3! They don’t care who’s responsible, they just charge the last tenant for everything broken.

The apartment was constantly overcrowded because one of the roommates kept bringing friends over, and despite sending numerous emails, the agency did nothing to address the situation. To make it even worse, after spending hours cleaning the room, they charged me €72 for a little dust on the desk. This agency is completely irresponsible and just looking for ways to squeeze money from tenants. Avoid them at all costs unless you want to be unfairly charged for things you didn’t break, at ridiculous prices!

340€ deducted for the cleaning of a bathroom that was already dirty and old. The lady doing the etat des lieux, Elsa was not honest as she noted a lot of things without saying and at the end said that i should get the full refund. DISGRACEFUL

Issues with payment

At the beginning everything was ok until they lost the payment for the rental. Regardless uploaded transfer proof they do nothing to find it. While interacting with customer service it looked like they just do not care and do their job just to check the box. The issue remains unresolved at present.
