I cannot recommend this company enough. They are absolutely wonderful. The best! The hinge on my favourite glasses that I wear all the time broke off and I thought I would have to go and have the hassle of buying a new pair, but I love these glasses so I looked on the internet to see if I could get them fixed. I found Opto Glasses Repair Ltd and a couple of other companies, so didn’t know which one to go for. I had to email my request and wondered when i would hear back, but Opto Glasses Repair came straight back, asked me to upload a photo, and it was all very easy to do on their website. They quickly gave me a quote, which was so much cheaper than I had expected. I was worried about sending them off in the post, because they are quite expensive. I got them back a within 2 days, and I was so happy. They were delivered in a secure box. I was kept updated by email all the time, when they received them, that they were working on them, and when they were returning them. The service this company provides is outstanding, and others could do well to take a leaf out of their books. It means so much to get such service these days. I will, and have done, highly recommend them to anyone, for any problem with their glasses as they cover everything to do with glasses repairs. I always thought I would have to go to the optician to get them sorted out, but this way is much quicker and I had my glasses back within 2 days, like I said. I was worried as I had to use an old pair of glasses which were a weaker prescription, but before I knew it I was wearing my glasses again.
And to top it all, they enclosed a new glasses cleaning cloth, personalised with my name on it. I felt so emotional and very blessed, that personal touch means so much and says a lot about this wonderful company. Please don’t hesitate to use them for anything to do with your glasses, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent communication, from advice regarding the correct repair package through to when the glasses would be returned. Speedy service (48hour turn around) and a first class repair on glasses my optician said were unrecoverable.

My wife bought me a pair of Ray Bans….....but
My wife bought me a pair of Ray Bans for my birthday. My pride and joy for the last 2 years. Utter horror ensued when they fell and broke a few days ago. I Googled repair service and came across Opto Glasses Repair. After sending an online enquiry with supporting photos I was contacted the very next working day. I thought my glasses being a luxury brand would fall under the most expensive repair package they offer but on responding they told me I would be eligible for the next service down which is slightly cheaper. I followed the website instruction on posting the glasses and Opto confirmed receipt 2 days later. Over the next 2 days I was kept fully updated with progress and at the end of day 2 notified the glasses had been dispatched on a RM 24 signed for service. They arrive back with me a couple of hours ago. Not only was the repair not visible but the glasses had been deep cleaned making them look new again. The icing on the cake, the guys at Opto included a personalised cleaning cloth and a 'caring for your glasses' tips leaflet. The whole process took less than a week! Companies like Opto are a dying breed in this country. It's very rare to come across people who are honest, professional and really do care about the customer. Businesses like Sky or British Gas will send you a txt for customer reviews immediately after the call - they get BORING. I am happy to write this extensive review when it really matters. These guys are now my go to and I have shared their details with friends and family already. Thank you Opto!

Affordable and speedy but not great
Affordable and speedy. I thought the repair would be better and invisible. Maybe I was naive, but a bit disappointed in it.
For me the speed didn't matter as much as the quality of the repair. I would have paid more and waited longer for more unnoticeable work.
My spectacles are very unique and rare so that's why I think this way.
All that said the glasses work and I'm so grateful this service exists and they were repaired because they were useless after being trodden on.

I sent in a quote for a pair of glasses that didn't look 'that' damaged to another business in the glasses repair space. They said nothing could be done and they were 'beyond all repair'. I didn't believe it. So, I sent in a couple of quotes to some other services, one being Opto Glasses Repair.
Turns out it could be done. Opto quoted me an incredible price, and fixed the glasses with zero quibbles.

Very rarely would I take the time to write a review but i have genuinely been blown away by this company. My experience started with an instant quote to my enquiry, a snapped arm on two pairs of sunglasses. I was very sceptical as the price for repair seemed too good to be true but opted to take the risk. I purchased the service, paid for postage and within 2 days received confirmation the glasses had been received and repairs had been completed. By day 3 (today) I have just received my sunglasses back and I'm over the moon with just how good the repair is. Not only have the arms been repaired (which you'd only know if it was pointed out) but they've repaired, strengthened and sorted other small issues to the point they are back to looking as good as new. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.
