The ordering process was great…easy to process and upload logo for printing. Disappointed in the quality of the mug. Super light-weight and cheap for the expensive price I paid. Not interested in purchasing again.

Shipping is expensive and unreliable

Shipping is expensive and unreliable. I was supposed to have my Christmas cards already but when I log into my account it says that my cards haven’t even printed! I’ve used this company for years and never had an issue. Obviously after reading reviews this year there have been many problems. I absolutely NEED the cards NOW so will never order from them again. When I contacted customer service, they were no help and took no accountability. Horrible. Order #31572697
I updated my review immediately and still
No response 🙄. Not shocked. I needed the cards today. At very latest tomorrow, still unsure why we spend almost 20.00 on shipping for terribly slow service.

Terrible customer service and…

Terrible customer service and unreliable. They give you “approximate” turnaround and shipping times and hold no accountability for delayed processing and shipping times on their end. I placed an order 3 weeks ago with a 2 day turn around and paid for expedited shipping with a delivery date by Dec 9. They created a shipping label on a Dec 2 but didn’t actually ship it until Dec 11. They told me to check back on Dec 23 if I haven’t received it by then. This order was for Christmas cards that I needed to mail out and explained they are useless to me arriving that late.

Their reply: It’s frustrating when timing doesn't work out. Unfortunately, orders that are already in production or shipped can't be returned or refunded simply because they're no longer useful or won't arrive in time.
Refunds are only available for defective, damaged, or incorrect products reported within 14 days of delivery. Since your order is in transit and the delay was due to shipping circumstances rather than a product defect, a refund wouldn't be available under our standard policy.

The colors are off

The colors are off. The printer clearly was missing yellow ink.
The company offered to reprint it for free. Thanks to them. I am now waiting for this second order. Il will review my evaluation when I receive my order.

NO DELIVERY

I placed an order for my grandmas Christmas gift of a custom calendar. It was supposed to arrive on the 10th. There was no package, no update, and no tracking number available. I contacted a live customer service agent and he said “sorry we have added credit to your account” I told him I don’t want two calendars I just want to know where the one I ordered is. He did not respond. I re-ordered the calendar again and the same thing happened. No update, no delivery, and no tracking number. Now I’m down $40 and a Christmas gift for my grandma. Customer service is an AI chatbot. Stay away from this company

Xmas card design and delivery

Easy to design and order. Courier Delivery service very slow and impossible to contact customer support about it. If Optimalprint is paying for Purolator service that delays pick up by 4 days and then sits on packages for 4 days when it arrives at local distribution centre, why would they not want to know about it or change courier services? This was really disappointing for Christmas card order that ended up taking over a week longer to receive than it should. I hope someone from the company takes note

Mixed experience

The website was fairly user friendly, great cost and selection of cards. The time from ordering and receiving, though, is truely terrible. I ordered holiday cards on November 27, and as of December 11 they are delayed somewhere between Etobicoke and Nova Scotia with no estimated time of arrival due to weather with no other update for the past 6 days. Very disappointed and can't yet speak to quality of product. I hope they will be worth the wait.

Delays and Misinformation

Sent emails saying my product was shipped when it wasnt. Was not informed or any delay. Given more misinformation by AI chat bot. Customer service was subpar. Terrible company.

Disappointing

I ordered from this company because I thought it was a Canadian company... It is not, but that's my fault for not checking properly. It says *printed* in Canada though at least.
The package arrived almost a week late.
The print quality is good, however the size of the products isn't what I ordered. I order A4 posters and they are 30.3cm x 20cm, which is not standard A4 size. As a result, they do not fit in the frames I had bought for them, so that is disappointing.

Edited to add: My order number is 35393816. I will edit my review accordingly if my issues get resolved.

I’ve been ordering Christmas cards and calendars from optimal print for years and they never disappoint! Shipping is always really quick, the quality is amazing, and the price is right. My only complaint is shipping costs but even with the shipping costs, you’re still paying a fair price for the product!

Well, I thought it was a simple and easy process… until I received my photo and saw the white space on the right and at the bottom of my photo! Unfortunately the way the website shows the finished photo for approval is on a weird angle and I couldn’t tell that my photo was not centred. So, be careful when you finalize and approve your print!
