If I could give them no stars I would! My elderly parents, one with dementia, the other with COPD and cognitive impairment due to lack of oxygen, received a cold call and then a visit from this company. Despite being in their late eighties and unlikely to survive months let alone years, a salesperson signed them up to a 5 year insurance and maintenance plan.

I, as POA, phoned the day after the sales visit to cancel well within 14 day cancellation period. I was told that this was not a problem and a refund would be issued. Despite repeatedly asking the company not to contact my parents but deal with me, the sales rep phoned my dad to check that he wanted to cancel and no doubt try a hard sell approach again. My dad passed the phone to me which is not what the sales person expected! He even said that he didn't expect me to be there! Today, having not received a refund in 24 hours as I was told, I was then told by the phone operator that I had to speak with a director before I could be issued a refund. That's nonsense. I asked for a directors number so I could phone them today and ask about the legality of needing to speak to them before a refund but was refused.
I have sent emails to have a written record of my cancellation request and received no response.
Please be very wary of this company. I was told by the sales rep that they are very reputable company. I have yet to see evidence of this!

This company sold my 86 year old father with early onset dementor an insurance policy for his solar panels. We have cancelled within the contractual cancellation period and asked for a refund which was agreed last week, Having not received this we have now been told it has to be a director to action the refund, Kane Page-Evans the only active Director is never in the office apparently and the staff say they have a process to follow to refund. They cannot detail this process or the timeframe!
If required I will open a case with the Financial Conduct Authority with whom they have to be registered to sell insurance and they are, their registration number is 1035949
The FCA charge the registered business if a case is opened against them and the fines they can levy on registered businesses are uncapped.
Lets hope we see the refund today to avoid the need to do so
Be very careful with this company, absent Director, staff who are not committal on process, friendly when selling to you and then cold and blunt in the event of an issue

Honestly couldn’t be more happy! My husband died 5 years ago and I haven’t been able to understand how my system worked thanks to optimal energy a respectful and reliable company I am now in good hands.

We also signed up for the package and payed our money.
All went well, the guy turned up to check every thing. He found one of our batteries wasn’t working so took it away to be mended. We were told it couldn’t be mended so they would order a new one. This was over two months ago and still no battery.
Every time my husband contacts them he is fobbed with the same story, “still waiting for it” I am beginning to think this is a scam

This is an excellent visit with very good work. Knowledge is very high and very good making clear with fitting the new components. Thank you.

Very polite , efficient and helpful

I recently received a cold call from Optimal Energy Solutions offering to give my solar system a thorough check. This was quite nicely timed as my system is over 14 years old and never had any maintenance and considering the average life of an inverter is apparantly 12 to 15 years according to Google it seemed a good idea. Their representative arrived on time as planned and checked everything explaining as he went what he was doing. I agreed that the inverter should be replaced and the panels cleaned. This was done efficiently on the day planned. I have now signed up to a maintenance plan.

I received a call from a lady Jane and she was so polite I had a problem with my solar panels and she said we will come and look at it for free and see if they could help I have had problems with getting my fit and they came out and looked at my system sorted my fit payments out and now I know who to call if I need help

Optimal energy solutions are a very good, reliable, professional company who helped my parents with their solar system when they had been left in the dark by original installers.
They helped get things back up and running in a quick professional manner.
Highly recommended.
