Fantastic IT Service, great value for money.
Senior Engineer Kim done a great installation job for our business move.

The best IT company in town!!!!

A very professional and down to earth company. Optima handle all our IT requirements from purchases of our hardware to managing them as well as our emails, back up, security...….I mean they handle everything IT related!!! I cant recommend them enough.

Excellent

A highly professional and efficient company

A highly professional and efficient service from start to finish. I had replaced the mechanical hard drive in my iMac with an SSD myself, but subsequently had problems with the internal graphics cable. Peter and colleagues were quick to identify and rectify the problem and completed the repair quick keeping me up to date on progress at all times. Great service and reasonable prices. Recommended.

Excellent Service

I would very highly recommend Optima Computers. They provide an excellent service at reasonable prices. They are very honest & friendly.

I had a malware on my iMac and they resolved it remotely with great efficiency and satisfaction.

Any further IT requirements - I know I will not have to look elsewhere

i brought my macbook pro in for repair…updated

i brought my macbook pro in for repair and paid £75.00. Next day my computer developed the SAME FAULT and was told it would cost another £150.00 to fix. i was told they found additional problems.......so why not charge me another £75.00 to make it up to £150.00, especially as the original fault was hardware which they did not diagnose on the first visit. Very disappointed.I took my computer back....basically it is still not working and i am down £75.00 plus two journeys there and back

I am disappointed by Optimum computer's reply who seem to wish to wash their hands of all responsibiltiy of a truly poor service and blame me for giving them poor review.
Firstly the computer was never properly repaired by optimum after my first visit . They managed to get it started but the first time I turned the macbook off and then on the same problem occurred of very slow boot time or failing to boot. Over the next few days after work I trawled the internet forums looking for a solution but none worked. Finally on the 22nd of october the computer failed to boot completely after several attempts and I returned to Optimum. I am sure you have CCTV, ticket and telephone records but I cannot understand how this is meant to support your version of events......yes we did call you, yes we did visit your store and yes we did receive a poor service !
Let me quickly compare your service to that of Apple Genus bar in Brent Cross which I visited.
The Apple technician tried some keyboard start up combinations in an attempt to solve the problem.This took only a few minutes at most and yet you did not try this in front of us but preferred to take the computer in for repair eventhough there was a chance the problem could have been solved there and then....as will be shown on your CCTV images.
The Apple technician then hooked up the computer to diagnostics and again within a few minutes found a hardware problem. He then opened the back of the computer and showed liquid damage and said that it would be best to take the computer to an independent repairer who could solve the problem with micro soldering as Apple would only replace the whole board.The whole genus appointment lasted around 20 minutes. That is what I would call a 5 star service.
I did not tell you what the Apple technician had said because we did not know your company and wether you could be trusted......If you looked at the computer and said that we need this and that and would cost hundreds of pounds to repair then we would know to look for another repairer. We expected you, just like Apple to run diagnostics, find the fault and tell us how much the repair would cost.....I still do not understand (despite asking when I collected the laptop first time) what you did and cannot understand how you could not diagnose a problem which took Apple Genus bar less than 20 minutes to diagnose.

I have never left a negative review before in my life and I thought hard and long wether I should start now.....but I am really that upset.

This is a very poor and inaccurate reflection of what actually happened.

You brought in your macbook pro for repair on 15/10/18 and after a quick and discounted repair, we had the macbook working for you. You were advised at this point, that the macbook does not look in good shape and to make sure you backup your data as soon as possible on a regular basis. You have since used the macbook for about a week and then brought it in on 23/10/18 again when it failed. You did not do the backup as advised and you were clearly upset about losing your data.

As we guarantee all our work, we then performed a thorough inspection of the macbook and stripped it down. This is a much more costlier exercise and found that there was recent liquid spillage in the machine, which you only admitted to after the second inspection. Had you informed us about this spillage on the first visit when we asked you about the history of the fault, we would not have offered this repair and advised you to change your laptop and rescued your data.

When asked, why did you not tell us about this spillage you said 'I was just testing you' !! I cannot understand why you would do this when your data is so important and now you have lost everything.

We do believe that the work undertaken was dealt with correctly, but the information provided to us was withheld to reduce costs on the repair. In any case, the macbook was initially fixed and working, and you should have backed up your data.

Please take a look at our other reviews. We have been in business for over 17 years and have an impeccable service record!

We have all the ticket, CCTV and telephone records to support the above dates and conversations. In posting such a review, you are damaging our reputation. We would be happy to talk to you further to clear up your concerns about your repair.

Tony is a great addition to your team

Tony is a great addition to your team, his knowledge of computers is excellent. He is polite and helpful, that is important. My computer was hacked and the hacker did a lot of serious damage both to me and others.
Peter has sorted out many problems for me over the years on Team Viewer etc. Optima Computers provides assistance quickly and efficiently, I would certainly recommend them.

Perfect service

I have been using Optima Computers for some years now, always with excellent, knowledgeable service.Recently they upgraded my email service and this was a very smooth operation. Kim spoke to me first to discuss the benefits of the change and then on a day that I chose, I took my laptop, Ipad and Mobile phone to their offices. In less than an hour all three devices were upgraded and all my email and their folders were installed. Very well done Kim, and thank you once again.

I have been using Optima Computers for over 10 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Service 10/10 Knowledge 10/10 Price 10/10 The fact that they have individual members of staff that I have known for the 10 years shows how they treat people. Business or personal they do it right!

I have been one of Optima's clients for…

I have been one of Optima's clients for years - and I can completely affirm that they are, quite simply, excellent. Quick phone call to sort out a problem - done. Remote maintenance - standard. Building your perfect PC - all part of the day's work. Recommending the best laptop for your needs - spot on (how I wish I'd never gone near anyone else, especially you-know-who with the (Don't) Know-How service...!) Their charges are extremely reasonable (they offer a half-hour rate, if appropriate), and their staff are universally expert, friendly, patient and helpful.
So - don't waste your life, send your blood pressure through the roof, and risk heaving your computer out of the window - just go straight to Optima. I absolutely promise you, you won't regret it - in fact, you'll be delighted!
