Honest and easy to use

Honest and easy to use - Five easy stars!

I needed a simple QR code that directs people to our website but since its for a print publication I needed one that lasts for a long time. OpenQR was the only service I found that didn't require a subscription or sign-up to receive a code. The service is easy to use and while some customisation options are only accessible to subscribers I was able to match the code colours to my brand and change the background colour to match the the rest of the page it will appear on.

Other companies I checked lure you in, pretending to be free, get you sign up - provide the code and then when the free trial ends or you decide you don't want to subscribe to their services your QR codes stop working.

OpenQR don't operate like this and once created your codes will work forever and won't be held hostage if you cancel your subscription.

I recommend people read the reviews for other QR code generators on here to see just how unscrupulous some of these companies are.

I urge OpenQR to stick to their values, their approach means less money made up-front but at least they'll create client loyalty by simply being honest.

Thank you so much for this, really means a lot.

That's exactly the approach we're going for: no sign-up walls, no codes that stop working if you don't subscribe. Glad it worked well for your print piece, and thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed review — and for pointing others toward reading reviews carefully too.

Appreciate you!
