Written by the company

Ookulli is an AI-powered contract review tool for freelancers, currently focused on UK freelance contracts, NDAs, and employment agreements. It helps users understand contracts before signing by flagging risky or non-standard clauses, explaining them in plain English, and grounding the review in the contract text and relevant UK law. Ookulli is built for sensitive legal documents, with privacy-focused handling and a specialised review interface that makes the analysis transparent. Instead of a generic chatbot answer, users get structured clause-level feedback, clear risk explanations, and visibility into why each issue was flagged.

It saved my IP rights

I really liked the depth of the analysis. The tool identified huge issue in my contract that could have caused me to lose ownership of projects created outside of my working hours

built for UK contracts

I used Ookulli to review a freelance contract with a client. does what it says, it's actually UK-specific so no generic "go get a lawyer" stuff, it flagged the clauses that needed attention and references me the actual UK law behind each one.

couple of mins, plain english, and way cheaper than a solicitor. does the job exactly how I wanted and if I need more info I can go to a lawyer with specific questions.

I used Ookulii to review my employment contract

I used Ookulii to scan and review an employment contract before signing it. I had some doubts about the vacation/PTO section and wasn’t completely sure how many days I was entitled to or how the policy would apply in practice.

The tool highlighted and explained the relevant clauses in clear, easy-to-understand language, which helped me identify a few details I had overlooked. It gave me more confidence going into the signing process and helped me ask better questions before committing.

While it’s not a substitute for professional legal advice, I found it very useful for getting a clearer understanding of contract terms and spotting areas that deserved closer attention. Overall, a helpful and straightforward experience.
