I usually just do it on my phone but they put me through to this instead.

Purchased a £10 top up for my daughter’s phone only to find out her account had been suspended due to lack of use. Emailed customer services and after 3 email conversations they said they would not refund my money or the extra charge they put on. Absolutely usless and out to get as much as they can at any cost.

THIS IS A SCAM. they put me on a subscription without any say, hence taking money every month. NO money had been put on my telephone in April, May and June. Reported to the bank who have refunded me money. Plus they charge £3.78 to put £20 on your telephone. Note again no money had been put on my telephone.

I’m laughing at On Top Up saying they don’t sign anyone up to recurring charges without them knowing. I experienced this only yesterday. I topped up thinking it was Tesco. I was told it’s up to customers to check😂 If you look them up You’ll see an ad that has TESCO TOP UP. FREE.
I topped up £20 it cost me £3.78. I contacted my Bank because I still hadn’t received my top up over an hour later. The bank informed me it was a recurring payment that had been set up. I told them I didn’t ask for that or tick any boxes. I didn’t even set a password with them as I knew I wouldn’t use them again. My bank locked them out of my account. They then asked if I had bought anything from Surestream? I said no…they said 1p had gone into my account. Surestream must be the platform they use to collect the money. Finally got a reply by email today saying they didn’t set up a recurring payment…..calling my bank a liar? Why would the bank do that what would they gain. Tons of people saying they’ve been signed up to recurring charges by them and they keep denying it. I was lucky that I had been on the phone speaking to my bank when they noticed it and told me or I wouldn’t have known until the next charge came off. But they still denied it today as well saying no we don’t do that. They ought to be ashamed of themselves disgraceful behaviour. Never again.

Really easy to use the website for Top-up. I have bought it for travelling India for a month. I will give my update about my experience with Lebara after coming back home.
