Referred to a useless conveyancer (potentially twice)
We were “allocated” to Hutchins & Co for our sale and purchase (note that you are allocated to the conveyancer as opposed to them being allocated to you. This is a “tell” to the mindset of this broker). Communication was practically non-existent. Started this soul destroying process end of April 2024. Had to chase until end of June to get past enquiries before contract stage. Every enquiry had to be made three times to elicit any reply. Subsequently three conveyancers dealt with the transaction. Impossible to get the switchboard/reception to put any call through (whether from client, estate agent or vendors/purchasers solicitors). One of the directors had to be “engaged” end of July to get the transaction moving at all. Two dates to exchange were missed. Second date we couldn’t even get an acknowledgment on the day that the documents had been received. We complained at this stage, but still no acknowledgment of our complaint to date. Chain collapsed end of August so we lost both sale and purchase at the last minute. Attempt to be allocated a different conveyancer when re-marketing in September resulted in onthemoov allocating us to Ackroyd (Hutchins & Co complaints email address ironically IS Ackroyd) but they are “completely independent companies” Second go at rejecting Ackroyd still resulted in insistence we go with them. We are going to have to find a new conveyancer because we have no confidence in onthemoov, Hutchins or Ackroyd. Buyer beware and avoid,avoid,avoid!

We had some problems with solicitor appointed to handle our case but when we contacted Ollie from Onthemoov he stepped in and quickly got things moving...I wished I had contacted him sooner to help resolve things...sometimes solicitors just need a good kick up the backside to complete the work in a timely manner. We booked some legal advice via on the moov. They appointed a solicitor who had not read the contract we were meant to discuss nor prepared anything in any way. He didn't even have a clue of the document he should have sent us, which was the whole point of this call. The call itself was an absolute joke and he wrapped it up within 15min, charging us a whooping £500. While I was initially told the call would last 60-90min. I have complained but the company is not willing to help. Feels like I have been scammed.

100% IMPRESS with the service and advice, which I receive from this company, On The Move. I will be using them when I sell my property later in the year.

Selling a house is sometimes a once in a lifetime thing, when the time comes it’s difficult to know where to turn to ding a solicitor to perform the sale. We found onthemoov through Google search and through personal conversations and emails we decided to use this service. It all worked out well for us with connecting us to a good solicitor and sale of our home. Definitely recommend this company when your time comes to delve into the rather complicated world of buying and selling homes. Efficient. Quick responder. Trustworthy. Safe.

9 weeks from first instruction to being in our house. A very easy smooth purchase. Great communication along the way and prompt replies to questions

Great service and prices/packages! Paired us with Hutchins who were exceptional - and i've returned 5 times for all my transactions. Always had a gr8 service from Ollie and Hutchins.

I wish you had been around for all the previous house sales and purchases I have done over the years.
Fingers crossed we will be back again later this year for the next sale

Just used onthemoov for myself and my partners first purchase, Ollie explained all their different packages very thoroughly and made sure I chose the right one for us which ended up being there middle option, solicitor we were recommended Hutchins and Co were terrific, communication was great and constantly on the ball with a very lackadaisical sellers solicitor. Got the matter completed in 8 weeks and couldn’t be happier in the choice we made. Thanks a lot.
