Most unhelpful

Most unhelpful, unprofessional chemist EVER. High Barnet branch of this NHS scamming chain has to be the worst I've had the misfortune of visiting. 1 star is one star too many.

Vaccination appointments cancelled by Boots and no refund available for 2 weeksks

I booked two private Covid vaccinations at £98 each.
When I went for my appointments yesterday the pharmacy at at the Uxbridge store said they had no vaccines and I should cancel the appointments myself to get a refund. They then said the would do it themselves and my credit card account would be credited.
They lied,as they did not action the cancellation and when I rang today to ask why I had not received a confirmation email, it had to be done over the phone. It now seems there is no way they can refund my £200 earlier than 2 weeks time. Company policy!

So I am now out of pocket because THEY did not produce what I had ordered, did not tell me my journey would be wasted and are, apparently unable to process a payment quicker than 2 weeks under any circumstances. Incredible.

Data mishandling

Closed the account down because they can’t send refrigerated items yet I still got prescription reminders. S lightly strange as they should not be keeping info like that. Let’s see if they honour a SAR request

Absolutely shocking service from…

Absolutely shocking service from Brandon Parade Shopping Centre Boots pharmacy.
The only one who seems to do any work is the pharmacist himself!
One of his”assistants” changed my prescription herself! I should get 56 tablets for a month supply and she argued with me that I only get 28, my husband had to point out that it was TWO tablets per day for the month. She wasn’t pleased.
Legally she should NOT be interfering with the prescriptions, but apparently SHE knew best?? I would suggest a refresher course in simple arithmetic to begin with and a medical degree for seconds Her attitude was AWFUL
My prescription has been wrong/ late numerous times and to be honest I’m sick of it! My husband had a meeting with the branch manager who said she will have to carry out an investigation then phone him with the outcome…. To be honest I won’t be holding my breath.
The thing is what happens to elderly people who DEPEND on this shoddy service???
I’m thinking of changing to an independent as I’m so sick of all the hassle.

Complete let-down

Complete let-down. I went through the online consultation process on Sunday - that part worked ok and I heard back within an hour that my prescription was approved and I paid. I chose to pick it up in my local boots store: big mistake! Not having received any text message by Thursday morning, I called the boots store and they had not received anything. So I emailed the online doctor and they got back to me Thursday, assuring me it all has been sorted. Now it's Friday, and I still have not heard anything from the boots store (no text, no indication they have received anything, let alone anything would be ready for pickup).
Overall a complete waste of my time and I cannot recommend this service and will try another online pharmacy.
