BEWARE! I saw I could get a VIN report on a vehicle for $1 so I did it thinking that was that. Now I'm being charged $28.95 per month by dmvcheck.com for a service I did not agree to. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!

About a month ago I used this service, and I saw that I had to pay $1, which I didn't mind too much. But today when I checked my bank account I noticed $29 had been taken out by PUBLICRECORDSHUB, and upon further inspection, there was another charge last month as well that I hadn't even noticed. Not only that, but the information is not even correct, it says that I am 18 years older than I actually am. I did not agree to paying $29 a month for however long you decide to take money out of my account, and I definitely did not agree to it for the useless information that was given.

Found ordering from the website amazing. I received the information I was looking for within minutes. Also, a text and email to see if I needed anything else. Their customer service is great!!

SCAM:The website states a price of $1.00 to get your report. The $1.00 charge went through on my credit card. A day later there was a charge of $30.00 for "subscription" that I never signed up for.

I went online to find some public records, somehow this company popped up like it was an authorized public records agency of some sort, it said the cost would be $1.00, I thought this was great, so I ordered a copy of that record, today the fraud division from my bank contacted me about this same company withdrawing $30.00 from my debit card without my authorization. these people appear to be scammers, I am attempting to get my money back, I will write another review to say one way or the other. UPDATE:
The company did refund my money immediately, I wish they would've mentioned the additional charges before I gave my debit card info, I wouldn't have accepted their services & avoided this whole mess.

Totally a scam! I only wanted one report and they charged me an extra $30. Plus there are name of people that don’t even exist.

Don’t believe these great reviews. They send an email requesting a great review and will pay you for it. They will claim that their report is only a $1.00 but then a couple days later they will charge you $30.00. They are scammers. Update: the company has refunded my money. But I will not remove my review as others need to be warned.

Very quick to get the information I needed, did not cost an arm and leg. And I got everything I needed to find.

I think this is a scam. You are forced to set up an account. I agreed to pay $1.00 for 1 report. Several days later, an attempt was made to charge my card an additional $20+. Luckily, my card company flagged the charge as fraud and it was not honored. Weird - you can't even sign out of the account that you're forced to set up. I sent them a request to delete/close my account.

This process was quick and easy. It provided lots of information and everything I needed right away

It was easy to download the info needed from the County, it was a $1, but received my statement and it was $28.95

Having never used this sight before, I had no problems or concerns when I first made my request. The report I received was very through and informative. It just took minutes to receive the report.

Used propertyrecord.com for a search that said $1. Ended up doing three searches. NEVER says pricing for additional searches. Three days later Visa flags them for a $30 search. First, not transparent on charges and second, why not $21 or something with the $1 charge (which shows an overcharge and false advertising).

Started chat with rep to get extra information on public record. Rep said they would send info within 2 days. Very cooperative and helpful.

I actually did not think I would be able to get the necessary information, but I got more than I anticipated I know that if I had gone to the office to get copies it would have cost more and taken more time

Report turned up potentially disturbing information which i tried to report to the local police. They advised instead that this site is illegitimate, that i should demand my money back, that i should demand the site remove information from files and that i should report it all to my bank because this company now has my debit card info. Followed police advice, canceled account, got feedback that account duly canceled. A few days later another charge showed up in my bank account and few days after that i get notification that i was caught in another big data breach by a similarly named organization. Maybe a coincidence. Decide for yourself.

Customer Service is great and report came fast. I also had same experience was told first report was $1.00 but charged $30. They also had me signed up for 30 reports just needed one. I explained this to Jeffrey your rep he cancelled further reports but would not refund my $30. I see a lot of people on here had same experience, signed up for $1 report charged $30.
