I ordered 2 bottles of Oban 14 as Christmas presents, I paid and got an order confirmation. Afterwards deciding I needed another I made a second order and accepted I needed to pay a second set of postage for my mistake. A few days later I get a notification to advise my first order is cancelled but my second is on its way due to ‘payment cancellation’, after contacting customer services and deciding I will need to reorder, how convenient that the price per bottle has increased by almost £30! After contacting customer services again to see if they’d honour my original order they told me they could not as they no longer had stock at this price and I must pay the new higher price as this order is from new stock. It seems very convenient that my first order of 2 bottles was cancelled and my second for one honoured.
I ordered a case and a half of wine to mull for the festive season, and was waiting longer than the 4 days it might have taken for delivery, even though it had been dispatched. After contacting the company, they got back to me within the day saying Fed Ex would attempt redelivery. 3 days later there was still not a peep from Fed Ex and I contacted Online Booze Again. They got back to me within the day again, and told me they had resent a new batch and would organise retrieving whatever mess the couriers had made. It arrived promtly thereafter. The after sales service was great, they really made an effort to sort the issue out, I was very happy, having been ripped off a few times when you throw money into the internet and hope for the best, these are some of the good guys.
