Falsely charged for customs to Sweden

I received my package to Sweden only to be hit with customs charges. It clearly states on their webpage that there are no such charges for orders to Sweden.

Update: onestop digital have refunded me the amount after submitting a vat refund (and quite quickly I might add). I think that this should be made clearer on the webpage tough. I consider myself happy with the outcome.

Everything went smoothly and fast

Everything went smoothly and fast, the email Support Team was always on point and useful; I received the tracking number as soon as it was created, and in 5 working days I received the perfectly packed product I ordered. 5 stars!

Lost shipment no refund

First of all,

Onstopdigital is an incredible weird company, they make you believe that they can ship it for good prices. the reason will be explained later..

on dec 20th I ordered a camera (1895€), somewhere in January when I did not received any updates yet they said it has been delivered on December the 28th.. as by then I was not at home neither my girlfriend. been to al my neighbours non of them have seen the package! then when I started a investigation with FedEx the shipping company they figured out that it should be delivered to a Number 1, but not my number.. weird fact is that this number 1 does not exist in my house..
the asked the courier to go to the house where the package should be delivered. But that was not in my street.. nobody opened that door..

now here is the thing, Fedex has proof that I did not received anything from Onestopdigital, in fact they tell Onestopdigital that they can get a refund for the lost package..

but still One-stopdigital knows everything better then the rest.. and says and keep saying. It has been delivered to my front door.. (which it has not been)

this company is a scam, a truly selfish only thinking about their company with no respect for costumers.

First of all, on behalf of Fedex, I would like to offer you my sincere apologies for the fact that you didn't received your package we did not meet your expectations.

Any claim settlement will be handled with the sender and I advise you to contact the sender. They are as as paying and sending party responsible for the shipment to you.
According to the customs value, your shipment is Euro 20,90 and according to the terms of transportation that is the maximum what can be paid out by total lost of you package.

(that's how they try to send you stuff tax free)

I understand that you would like that FedEx start an investigation again, I have put the local fedEx in the CC so they will be updated as well,
again, I have been on the phone with Marko, from Fedex 2 times to try to figure out where the package is. From their system it has been delivered to the entrance of number 1, NOT 14.
However, there is not a Number 1 on this street. During the call With Marko, we have checked multiple options where it could be delivered. but none of my neighbours have seen or received it.

I have not and I state "NOT SIGNED" for my package, nor did anyone else at my home because we were not
at home on the 28th of December

FedEx state "The courier confirmed, despite there being a POD of the package being delivered to the recipient, the package was not delivered at the recipient.
We advise the recipient to contact the shipper to send a new item of give them a refund. The shipper can contact FedEx in order to start a claim for the costs of the package."

We are sorry but we can see the local FedEx confirmed package was delivered to your address's main entrance.
However, we will ask FedEx to investigate the case again.

As per FedEx, someone at annie romein-verschoorstraat 14 did sign the package and receive the package on 28 Dec.
The investigation has been done with FedEx and Paypal so I'm afraid we are unable to send you a refund/ replacement..

This is becoming a weird enjoying thing.
If you have reached out to fedex you will have noticed that it is delivered to Number 1 not 14.. but this number does not exists in my street.

Now I definitely want a refund! i have ordered the camera Elsewhere.

I have and I state, not received the package from you guys.
I am afraid it got lost.

No neighbors have seen or received it eighter..

We are sorry but as per investigation with Paypak and courier company, they confirmed the package has been delivered to the correct address already.

Up to this point, we are unable to offer a replacement or refund to you because I'm afraid the investigation has been done.
Sorry for that.

Maybe you can look into your neighbour's house to see if they received the package for you at your front door?

As explained, with written black and white Proof of delivery, tracking system as well as the investigation after both FedEx and Paypal - all evidence proves the package has been delivered to the correct address so I'm afraid we are really unable to refund you at this point.

Sorry for that.

and about 20 emails more.. STOP BUYING

Great!

was a bit hesitant because of some bad reviews, but I have to say everything went great. Excellent contact with Jess A and fast shipping. Ordered a Samsung tablet for hundreds of euros cheaper, no problems at all with taxes and the like. Absolutely great!

Great!
Bought a teleconverter for sony. Saved >100€ on that.
Had a small customs bill -and it was refunded after only 10 minuttes! :-)
Also I was able to switch it to another model at no cost.
Really great service! Thanks.
