Terrible customer service. Trade in program is a scam.
Send my phone in perfect conditions, for their third party service to come back to me after a month that the phone had been sent with a reduced price because of something that wasn't there to begin with when I sent the phone. I've sold on eBay before too, so I'm quite aware on how to pack electronics before shipping them.
Contacted their customer service, they weren't able to do anything for me. Going to delete my account and won't ever buy anything from this scummy company.

I purchased a OnePlus Nord 5 directly from OnePlus’ own website on November 27th. The phone was less than one month old when it developed serious issues: screen flickering, black screen, and a boot loop that made the device unusable. I documented the issue on video and contacted support immediately.
From December 5th and onwards, the case dragged on with very slow responses, repeated escalations to a “higher department,” and no clear solution. Despite the phone being new and the issue occurring well within the warranty and EU consumer law period, OnePlus refused to handle this as a defective product (reklamation).
Instead, they repeatedly offered a €20 voucher as “compensation,” even though I clearly stated multiple times that I did not want a voucher and requested a proper solution. My request for refund or replacement was rejected based on their internal 15-day return policy, ignoring statutory consumer rights.
After more than a month of delays, I was again told that only a voucher could be offered. At that point, I had lost all confidence in OnePlus and sold the phone myself.
This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The product failure itself was bad, but the customer service and handling of the case were far worse. I would strongly advise others to buy OnePlus products through local retailers instead of directly from OnePlus.

I love the phone, and it's a same they I won't prefer the company ever again due to the horrendous trade in. My trade in device was undervalued by 108 euros due to some minor scratches. Of course there will be scratches, it's daily driver.and when I communicated with both the third party company that executes the trade ins and one plus, I got absolutely no outcome. Shame because I am a customer from one plus 7 and I had the company to high regard.

The phone is good, but like others have mentioned here, the trade-in is a con.
I've traded plenty of phones in at other places over the years and never had issues.
I chose a OnePlus over a Google Pixel upgrade this time and used their trade-in. OnePlus devalued the phone I sent by 98 euros since it had 'signs of use'.. just some dirt/fluff inside the case I also sent (to protect during shipping).
I won't be using OnePlus again.

Their trade in sucks. My oneplus Open( only 1yr old ) was valued at 460euros against a new 13R online but when submitted to their 3rd party it was reduced to 250 simply for having small marks on bind area and around the usb-c port. Then charged a further 27 euros to return my device. I have been a oneplus customers for 10+ years but I will never spend another penny buying their products again. Trade-in is nothing short of a scam. Than trying to contact them to return the 13R proved to be impossible.Avoid.

I bought the phone about three months ago.
Its considered a premium phone yet the flaws are driving me crazy.
And the sad part?
I cannot send it back and i cannot trade it in because non of the providers (Telekom, Congstar) or official Samsung or Google are willing to take it as a trade in.
My issue thats driving me crazy is that as i put it charging the charger slips out of the phone. And it doesn't supercharge.
I took two hours to get from 20% to 90% .
Yes, i have the official charger which came with the bundle.
I cannot charge a bloody 1000$ dollar phone because of this.
How is that Premium?
SHAMEFUL.
Not recommending this phone!!!!!!!
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and communication from OnePlus. I placed an order on November 28th which never arrived.
Following their instructions, I filled out a non-receipt form and filed a police report with Action Fraud. I submitted all this documentation on December 10th. Since then, it has been total radio silence. I followed up on December 16th with no reply.
To make matters worse, their customer support is currently non-existent:
Live Chat: I waited for over an hour with no agent joining.
Phone Lines: The number disconnects immediately upon calling.
It is unacceptable to hold a customer's money for nearly a month while I have provided all requested legal documentation. If this is not resolved immediately, I will be forced to initiate a chargeback through my bank.

Ordered an paid though One Plus website on 28th November via a Black Friday deal. Delivery notification with Royal Mail 48hr tracked recieved with delivery confirmed 4th December. No delivery came. Royal Mail tracking hasn't changed since 29th and says it's still at national hub depot. Contacted One Plus when delivery failed and no change to tracking. Advised by One Plus to go to a police station to get crime referenc, print and wet sign a non delivery form which I did and sent back immediately. Although Police couldn't believe One Plus were expecting customers to do this. No updates from One Plus since apart from they are looking into it. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. It's clear it's been lost in Royal Mail you should not be putting the customer out of pocket, a replacement should be sent. I have since requested a refund which hasn't been acknowledged, having to now go through bank for charge back. I will order via Amazon next time. I only wish I'd checked the reviews first.

Do not buy from this company. I place an order for oneplus 15 with watch 3.
They send parcel that has been left in the porch. Royal Mail just left the parcel forge my signature and made a picture of parcel that has been left on my porch with closed door that provide I did not signed this.
Unfortunately I’m waiting almost a month provide them police reference number and etc but they still don’t refund or send replacement and seems like they wont. I will have to escalate this to small court.
Pathetic practice from them

I want to tell you how Oneplus SCAM with these Black friday deals or any gifts you are offered for "free".
So my 2025 Black Friday experience is still ongoing, Oneplus didnt send me gift (buds pro 3), I contacted support, they asked me to wait for 15 days, so I coudnt return the watch I bought, then when contacted after 15 days, they say my gift is out of stock, they dont know when it will be in stock again (you can buy any color straight away if you but it on their site, but they said its irrelevant). Now I cant return the overpriced watch (I bought it only because I saw buds are available as a gift) and I need to waist my time explaining to Oneplus what they didnt send at all. I cant return watch any more, Oneplus doesnt know when they will send me buds. Well done Oneplus, great FRAUD you made.
BTW, I had oneplus phone from the first one and their tricks are getting better and better each year. I dont recommend buying Oneplus directly from their site, prices they write without discount (even with discount) are just not realistic, you can buy new phones from other retail shops way cheaper. Watch price they advertise is 349€, but other sellers sell for 210€, buds, they say 199€, but actually 120€. Phone I bought OP13 512gb 1149€, actually it is 749€. I could attach support chat here, but its all about how they dont know something or I already missed 15 day return timeframe. Pathetic.
I wish this will help someone to understand what to expect and rather choose buying from retailers without gifts as its cheaper overall.
If you are buying as company and you will need VAT invoice, don’t bother with Oneplus, it will be not sent instantly, you will need to work with their support and spend few hours to maybe get it, just maybe.

I purchased a OnePlus 15 along with a 120W charger and a screen protector in November. It was an expensive order. I have been a OnePlus customer for several years now, this is my third OnePlus phone. I was very tempted to purchase a Samsung phone this time around and I regret not doing that now. My OnePlus order arrived with everything loosely thrown into a box with no stuffing paper or protective Styrofoam. As a result - the packaging on all of the items inside the box was damaged. The paper seal on my OnePlus phone box was also torn. I removed all the packaging and applied the screen protector to my phone. Less than 24hrs later, I placed the phone down on a cold kitchen counter and when I picked it up again less than 30 seconds later; the screen protector was cracked. There was no impact. It is clear that this was a weakened / defective screen protector. Potentially due to damage caused during transit and as a result of poor packaging. Either way; I have a defective item that, by law, the seller is required to replace. I reached out to OnePlus and they agreed to replace it. Under the condition that I remove and return the defective screen protector BEFORE they issue a replacement. This makes zero sense. In doing so, I would have to endure potential weeks without a screen protector and expose the screen on my new phone to risk of damage or scratches. I escalated my case, despite refusal and resistance from Adrian and spoke with someone called Cristian. Cristian said the only alternative was to issue me with a €20 voucher, despite the screen protector costing €25 on the OnePlus website. I asked for a free shipping voucher and he refused. I asked him to justify why I should be out of pocket due to OnePlus' negligence and defective product and he refused to acknowledge this. He relied heavily on copied and pasted responses throughout, dismissing my points and ignoring others. Finally - he resorted to ignoring my emails. This is infuriating conduct. I may as well be speaking with a bot. The fact that OnePlus are willing to lose a customer over such a low value item is absurd. I will be purchasing a Samsung device next time - without a doubt.
*** EDITED TO RESPOND***
The fact that you continue to claim that OnePlus are a "customer-oriented company" is laughable. The details in your response are incorrect. My screen protector was defective. By law; OnePlus are required to replace defective / faulty goods. Your customer "care" team agreed to replace it so, warranty does not come into this as you are now trying to claim here. Warranty hasn't once been mentioned until now. The issue is, this team are insisting that I remove the defective screen and send it back to OnePlus BEFORE the replacement is issued. This makes zero sense. Doing so would expose the screen on my new OnePlus phone to potential damage while I wait for OnePlus to issue the replacement. This could take weeks or even months. OnePlus also expect me to be out of pocket to facilitate this. I was more than happy to return the defective screen as long as a shipping label was included with the replacement one. I had this exact issue a few years ago with another OnePlus phone and screen protector and OnePlus issued a replacement screen protector without hessitation. They didn't even ask me to return the defective one. Oneplus have now lost a long standing customer over a low value item, as I cannot put my faith in your service anymore. "Customer-oriented company" gimme a break!!

I’ve been a loyal OnePlus customer since the OnePlus 3, buying nearly every generation of phone along with watches, headphones, and tablets. Unfortunately, my recent trade-in experience has made me rethink my relationship with the brand.
I traded in my OnePlus 13 when buying the OnePlus 15 and was directed to use Mando Affari, the partner OnePlus works with. I always take great care of my devices (case + screen protector from day one), so I confidently rated my phone A-grade and was offered £382.
After sending my phone, Mando Affari downgraded it to B-grade without any valid reason. The photos they provided didn’t show real defects. To make matters worse, they told me I’d have to pay 27 euros just to get my own device back. Feeling cornered, I reluctantly accepted their lower offer losing £80 for something that felt completely unfair and unjustified.
This entire process left me feeling conned and robbed.
OnePlus needs to seriously reconsider working with companies like Mando Affari because it reflects badly on their brand. This was my first trade-in and definitely my last.

Reply from OnePlus
They are using Mondo Affari for trade-in devices which is a pure scam. They refuse to pay the trade in fee while asking for 27euros to return your device.
The device is in excellent condition, like new condition, but they graded it C and offered less 50% of original price because it lacked SPen (which was not mentioned in the email for trade-in). I offered to sent it in addition which they didn't accept. Really disappointed with them and OnePlus Who is using their service.
Also as for OnePlus - any links to get in touch do not work and return links do not work for weeks now (how convenient for them!). If you purchase something from them - no service could be reached. Be aware.

I’ve used the OnePlus 11 5G for a while, and honestly, the phone itself is excellent in terms of performance, display quality, camera, and speed. The company really offers strong specifications at a price that’s considered reasonable compared to competitors.
But… my experience with their after-sales service was one of the worst any user could go through.
My phone slipped out of my hand and the screen broke. Naturally, I contacted OnePlus official support to get an original replacement screen and have the device repaired properly.
The shocking part was that their response said the repair must be done in India only!
There isn’t a single authorized service center outside India that can provide an original screen or repair the device officially.
In other words:
There is no original screen available anywhere except India.
There is no authorized service center or proper after-sales support in my country at all.
And the company simply says: “Send your phone to India,” as if that’s something realistic or convenient for everyone!
This basically means that no matter how powerful or impressive the phone is… its actual value collapses the moment it faces a simple hardware issue.
As a user, I’m not expected to travel or ship my phone abroad just to replace a screen.
This “support” simply doesn’t exist, and it makes anyone think twice before buying a OnePlus device, because even a small problem means you won’t be able to repair your phone properly.
People buy expensive devices expecting after-sales service to match the price.
But what happened with OnePlus made me feel that this phone is just a temporary step until I can sell it and buy another brand that actually has real service centers and reliable after-sales support.
Bottom line:
OnePlus makes excellent products, but without a trustworthy after-sales service, this advantage is completely lost.
And if the company doesn’t provide support in the countries where its products are sold, it will keep losing users—no matter how strong the performance is

Never had a bad product from them. Seen the reviews are negative and I've never had to deal with customer support so I can't say but had several devices and all have been top quality, always a brand I like to come back to
