DO NOT ENTER A CONTRACT EVER
Feedback on Onecom Service Experience
I want to share my experience with Onecom so that other small businesses can make informed decisions. I strongly recommend you do not enter in to a contract with Onecom under any circumstances
Background
* I was cold-called by Onecom and persuaded to sign a three-year contract for five work phones.
* I was assured by their representative, Gareth Duggan, that I would incur no termination costs, great customer service and no downtime to my company
Key Issues Encountered
1. Unexpected Termination Fees
* Despite repeated requests for confirmation of costs, I was charged £1000 more than quoted when I needed to end a previous agreement. Why would I get a new contract and pay for it - completely tricked over the phone by a slimy sales man
2. Service and Signal Problems
* I was advised to move to Vodafone with a guarantee I could switch back to EE quickly using eSIMs and with no downtime, if signal wasn’t adequate
* After reporting poor Vodafone signal within days, my concerns were not addressed promptly and I was ignored for days
* The transfer back to EE took over a month, causing significant disruption and lost sales.
* At one point, when we finally moved back to EE my primary EE line was down for a full week - they refunded me £43.20 but nothing for the previous month and no where near enough to compensate the loss of sales.
3. Customer Support
* Promises of ongoing assistance were not met. Emails to Gareth went unanswered, and I was told the issue was “not his department.” This was not the half of its. No one cared or knew what was going on and it got completely out of hand with the amount of people I called to try and get a response
4. Future Contract Concerns
* I have been informed that if I do not renew with Onecom, fees for the five contracts will rise significantly, creating ongoing financial strain and entrapment for the for years to come as I will not be able to pay the termination fees as it will cripple my business.
Dispute Resolution Attempt
* I escalated the matter to CISAS, but the adjudicator’s report did not address the core of my complaint about verbal misrepresentation and I am now left to go to small claims court or ofcom.
The above doesn’t even cover all the issues there are too many to state. DO NOT ENTER IN to a contract with these people.
Onecom are an awful telecoms company
Onecom are an awful telecoms company. Do not use them. They constantly cut off the line and customer service is terrible and staffed with non native English speakers.
lies, cheats and thieves
Told me I was dealing directly with Vodafone made massive promises miss sold the contract very deceptive in their sales and then no contact. Be careful with any dealings.
Lack of morals very very poor customer service once you've signed up. I've even got numbers on my contract that I have no idea who they belong to.
I written to outcome, but doesn't seem to be much happening.
More than disappointed, they lack care for their customer.
DO NOT associate yourself with Vodafone…
DO NOT associate yourself with Vodafone or OneCom. Signal is crap, customer service is crap, don’t care you have no signal at your premises. Spoken with on numerous occasions and don’t care. The original person I spoke with doesn’t respond either because he knows he sold you shit! Take it from someone that doesn’t leave reviews!
I would describe them as a scam…
I would describe them as a scam company. Their terms and conditions will not be clear. They expect you to be like me and not read the small print.
You will end up paying grands from sim only contracts.
Painful lesson to learn.
Not a company to deal with
Whilst some will be pleased with Onecom and the services it has to offer I would like to urge caution when dealing with this company. Particularly if the salesman is one who goes by the name of Rob.
I received a call out of the blue offering the option to transfer to Onecom services. The salesman was very polite, explaining in detail what could be offered to the company I work for. Details were exchanged and emailed through to me for consideration. After carefully looking at the offer it was decided not to proceed. I sent an e-mail back on the return of the Onecom offer stating it was declined. A few days later I received a phone call from salesman R, who denied having received my email. He wanted to know the reason why I was not proceeding and kept pressing for a reason which he said he had to give to Ofcom. He persisted so much that in the end I hung up.
A few days later I received an email from Onecom with an order summary attached.
The business details were incorrect.
I was very irate and rang R – who said because I had been so rude as to hang up on him and not listen to what he was saying, he had gone ahead and placed the order.
He also misrepresented what I had said to him in our previous conversation.
Goodness knows how he thought it would be paid for as I had given no bank details. His persistence continued again asking for a reason I did not wish to proceed as he had to give it to Ofcom.
Perhaps the training given to salesman could include the meaning of the word “NO”.
Please be aware of their tactics.
This company is as bad as bad can be
This company is as bad as bad can be. Completely underhand in all they do and heartless in their application on following through their unfair contracts after they dupe you.
DO NOT TOUCH THESE PEOPLE WITH A BARGEPOLE
Another rogue telecoms company
Another rogue telecoms company. If you’re reading this before you commit to a contract, then trust the reviews and run a mile.
Thieves and liars right from the top to the bottom of this appalling company.
I don’t know how they sleep at night trapping people into contracts that will cost a fortune to get out off.
Totally trapped unless I pay 2k to get out it or let it run and pay over £100 pound per month after the promotional offer ends, I can get the same contract for £25 elsewhere.
Don’t get sucked in with their lies.
STAY AWAY.
I signed up with these crooks 20 months…
I signed up with these crooks 20 months ago at £84 pm for two mobiles, how wrong was I. ! Vodafone took anything from £220 a month to £260 pm and onecom credited me with £75 pm that I was not told about 😡. I have pages and pages of complaints I made and now and again they would give me money back. I never had two months the same payment. They called me at 18 month term ( half way ) and said we won’t give you the £75 pm but Vodafone will only take £86 of you per month. I went to a wedding in America for two weeks and they said it would cost me £6 per day. . I used my fone to make a two minute call home and my bill was £430 😡 ! I have a new contract with another company now that are very good but onecom want £875 and Vodafone want £1780 early termination fee. I have sent all my documentation and voice calls to all the appropriate authorities along with my solicitor’s report! Do not touch this company as they will ruin your life . PS I suffer from ms and this is dramatically effecting my health 😡.

OneCom UK Mobile Services should marked 0 Stars
This is about the right review number for onecom.co.uk the mobile services company working with vodaphone. Strange that OneCom Uk has around 500 customers on facebook (OneCom problems and mis-sold contracts) complaining about being sold mis-represented contracts and overcharging and yet they have 5 star reviews. Check it out TrustPilot, something don't smell right
If I could give 0 stars I would

BEWARE!!!
BEWARE!!!! Just been the next victim of onecom.🙈
I was paying £20 each sim for my own phone and son phone.
Got a call from onecom to say they can beat that deal. Offered me 2 sims 2years entrainment package on both sim and a dongle for £35 a month ( now I thought this was amazing deal.)
First month bill was £210.00.They then explained to me that on 24th each month Vodafone take £120.00 a month for this amazing deal. Then onecom discount repay my bank account £85 a month like doesn’t take much to work out I’m paying £120 a month in the long run.
Like I never was explained this when taking the contract.
Then this month I got no discount from onecom and when I rang bout this matter that I no longer get this as it was for 17 months only.
So now they think I’m going to pay them as it gone up £10 a month so my bill will be £131.00 a month for 2 sim only no phone we’re included in this deal .
Iv cancel my direct debit and recent pac codes and if I use them with another server they will be looking something like £2,300
We all have to do something bout these people or company. How they think they get away with it is unbelievable Has to be some other way dealing with these cowboys.
I’m know a lot people that got scam just like me
Wow not sure where to start
Wow not sure where to start . If I could give no stars I would.
OK was cold called they explained me the package which sounded great new Samsung new iPhone and a couple of dongles all which sits and data. They said this is a discounted rate. They then said at 17 months we will talk again about options also at 24months. What they didn't day was the discount runs out at 18 month and will start to pay 100% more so £90.00 goes to £220.00 . The rate they reduce at 18 month is 10 per line.
This company was brought a Company out that did just this tactics back in 2019 I think and where fi Ed for it.
Avoid at all cost. Be warned
