There are alot of scammed on onbuy I bought a ps5 controller on onbuy.com and the I never got the item I couldn't even find the sellers contact not even on the order history I had to pay clearpay for what I did not receive it's very frustrating and disappointing onbuy is a scam

Thiefs!

I bought two items from this website and none of them arrived. It seems like they were delivered but they weren't. What worse is there is no communication channel open. I don't even know where to complain.

Ordered some oil from this site

Ordered some oil from this site. Messaged seller saying did not receive. Really blank, one or two word replies.
Attempted delivery, which I know was a lie because I was in all day. Never provided any tracking information. Asked for refund multiple times. The company itself onbuy their customer service barely did anything to help. Just kept telling me to contact the seller. After about 3-4 months I’ve given up, I can’t be bothered trying to chase £26

Complete waste of time

Bought a product from one of the sellers. My order was cancelled and the seller issued a refund soon after (this was not requested by me). I queried this and asked for the product to be sent to me instead. They said it was no longer available but the seller still has it advertised (and now at a higher price). The seller then ignored me when I pointed that out to them.

You take a gamble when you use OnBuy (and you'll be wasting your time if you try and complain to customer services). They spout their terms and do not actually deal with your complaint.

To their credit, the refund did come immediately but I would not trust them in future. You will have no protection if things go wrong - Chinese sellers mean that even though according to the terms "the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute or claim" good luck trying to get what will likely be a small claim to a foreign entity and then enforcing it!!

In these situations you are relying on a trustworthy platform to step in and support you (eBay for example is very pro-buyer and has succeeded as a company for at least this reason). You will not get this with OnBuy. Don't bother - shop elsewhere!

DON'T USE

Apparently Electric is battery operated!!!!

I've used this company three times and I've already got what I've ordered. Part of my recent order was perfect, the other item was advertised as a electric and I ended up with a cheap piece of rubbish which needs batteries instead of being electric. Also the way they're done the order it's difficult to start a PayPal dispute

Marketplace of Thieves…

Ordered a phone for my disabled daughter with her Christmas money from a rogue company called XIDI who firstly then sent a total brick of a mobile phone. The supplier then agreed to send a replacement phone which as it was rapidly approaching Christmas I reluctantly accepted. No worries I thought as a member of Onbuy Customer Service called Lemuel assured me they were there to help etc. Then when checking the tracking number supplied I discovered it was a bogus number to a totally different address not even my County. Now the disingenuous Lemuel no longer replies to any communication in fact has disappeared off the face of the earth. So bottom line is I've been robbed and it doesn't look like their B/S peace of mind guarantee of refund is going to happen. Onbuy is just a collection of thieving Chinese traders who trade on this market place which offers the purchaser absolutely no protection whatsoever. Lemuel you are a disgrace as is XIDI who have stolen a disabled girls Christmas money, may you all rot in hell!!!. Totally dishonest AVOID

£190.98 delivery charge for 6kg of soda washing crystals…

Ordering 6kg of soda washing crystals at the very good price of £10.80, I was a little surprised to see the delivery charge was £190.98, thinking this was an error I continued to the checkout but the total was indeed £201.78.
The seller was Alliance UK. On my first search of reviews of Onbuy I found lots of 4star ratings on what appeared to be Trustpilot before finding this site for reviews of On Buy.

I purchased a ps5 for a Xmas present…

I purchased a ps5 for a Xmas present beginning of November. Item was sent out with wrong name on package. So was returned to sender by Royal Mail. Seller didn’t have another one to send out so had to refund me. Now 7 weeks later I still have not had my money back. I have sent all documentation showing Royal Mail tracking saying item wrongly addressed and returned to sender. And message from the seller apologising that they have sent the item out with the wrong name. But all this time later still no refund. You can’t speak to anyone only message. Most of the time they don’t reply to you but on the odd occasion that they do it takes 48hrs and they are not helpful. Please avoid. This company should be shut down. Worst customer service I have ever encountered

I ordered loo rolls at a decent price but they never arrived!

I ordered loo rolls at a decent price, with 2 day delivery promised. 4 eeeks later and still nothing.
They said they would contact the ‘seller’ and send to ‘dispute’ team but I have no tracking number no item so I just want my money back. I have started a dispute with PayPal so hopefully they will refund me.

Awful service

Awful service, seller writes me hurtful messages. 0 customer service.

Item I bought was expensive and wasn't happy. Decided to return.

But seller said why buying if you want to return. Online shopping can be tricky. But to make me feel like not worth to help is not the way.

Thecseller: I'm confused. You chose the lens and ordered it. Delivery estimate is about 10 days to 2 weeks. You got your delivery within the delivery estimated. Then you went and bought lenses from Jessops? Why? We had to ship the lens from overseas. Pay shipping. Pay import tax. Pay postage. Pay transaction fees. Pay postage fees. And if you return it we will then have to pay a refund fee. And all for what? Because you ordered the wrong lens from us and then the correct lens from Jessops?

I made a mistake, but I shouldn't feel bad for that I'm not satisfied with item.

People by cars and return them. There is £1000 involved.

If company don't want to deal with returns why there is 30 day policy in the first place?

Feeling violated.

Delivered to the wrong address - still don't have the items

I placed an order for two items on the 6th of December. I have been in communication with the customer service, and they have been responsive to my inquiries. However, I discovered that the two items were delivered on the 20th of December, but not to my address. In response to the delivery notification, I contacted the seller, questioning the discrepancy. Subsequently, I received a picture from the seller as proof of delivery, which depicts a house entrance that does not correspond to my residence.

Don't get fooled by good prices

Looks like I'm not the only one to get ripped off! Ordered a branded item, which turned up with no box, or instructions and was definitely not the genuine item. Paid £40.99. The seller is slow to respond and I've now got to pay postage to return it. Really not happy!
