Horrendous company
Horrendous company. The pricing is blatant gouging for what is already overpriced food and tickets. Their membership scheme is full of ridiculous restrictions, especially during the first three months, and you can only see each film once.
Trying to book seats separately is a nightmare. Their website won’t allow a single seat to be left on its own, which means if there are two seats next to your friends or family but one would be left empty, the system simply blocks you from booking. So even if seats are available, you can’t actually sit together.
Customer support is completely useless. The staff appear poorly trained and unable to resolve even basic issues. Every query seems to end with the same “solution” – offering to cancel your membership instead of fixing the problem.
Overall, an incredibly frustrating experience. Avoid like the plague.
Waving hands like monkeys.
Roscommon town.
The second time I'm trying to buy a giftcard in person, I arrive to the shop, staff inside, lights on, and when I try to call them they just wave their hands from the till like monkeys.
If they would at least come by the door to talk to me. Just want a gift card

I would rate it 0 but that’s not an option so I have to give a one. My friends went into omniplex cinema today to watch scream 7 they payed for there is pickets and went up to till and weren’t aloud in bc they didn’t have a picture of their passport since when is the cinema becoming the airport. They are over 16 and weren’t aloud in.BUT THE TERRIBLE PART WAS THAT THEY DIDNT GET TO WATCH THE MOVIE AND DIDNT GRT THEIR MONEY BACK
Very nice cinema experience
Very nice cinema experience. Representatives can make the queueing a little bit tiresome. Well maintained and fair prices.
Dreadful process and staff.
Dreadful process and staff.
Attended Dundalk today with my 2 kids and their friends. Queued up ordered everything at the kiosk inside the door and then had to go and que up again for collection at a seperate section(where there was only one girl working and quite a wait), only to find that 1 of the small drinks hadn’t been included. Staff refused to add it to the order (very dismissive) and instead pointed me to a ‘cash only’ till or back to the ordering kiosk to Que up again, place my order there for the missing drink, get my receipt and then bring it back to the collection section to quebip for a 4th time.
Never ever again will I be back in this…
Never ever again will I be back in this place.
I was overcharged for tickets well above the advertised price, and I was not told that choosing certain seats would cost extra. Staff gave me conflicting and incorrect information, and it took multiple emails and far too much effort just to get the money returned that should never have been taken in the first place.
The whole experience felt completely misleading and unprofessional. Prices were not shown when I was told to “pick any seat”, and trying to resolve it afterwards was unbelievably frustrating.
I eventually received a refund for the amount overcharged, but only after chasing them repeatedly. No customer should have to go through this. Trying to charge a 3-year-old £8.95 to watch a 50-minute children’s film is scandalous.
Extremely disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning. Be careful — many people won’t think to check their receipts.
Customer service is appalling
Customer service is appalling. Will not respond to and of my emails. Great cinema until you need to contact customer service, so disappointed

They are not helping and the only answer what they give they are happy to help the membership cancellation... Retention word is unknown for them.
#FixOmnipass but Omniplex don't want to know
Omniplex had the best deal going with the Omnipass, but since they incorporated uplift fees for the subscribers that were still paying a monthly fee whether they went or not, that's where I draw a line. For five months they have been "listening to feedback" and haven't done a jot with it. This will be a great example for business students in a few years time as to how not to deal with customer interactions. I'd be shocked if the Omnipass is still around in six months.
The reason there going to lose business …
The reason there going to lose business is because they are greedy. their prices are crazy now and there scamming people and wondering why they can’t afford the nachos or soda machines, firstly I don’t go there anymore because they got rid of the Nachos I want those dam nachos and refillable sodas man . But no they turned greedy and are losing business probably mannnn GIMME MY NACHOS
Crooks
Sneaky, underhand, greedy crooks. Cancelled my Omnipass this afternoon, paying €17.99 per month, and they wanted another €2 to sit in a seat. “Free seats” would cause a permanent crick in your neck, because your a metre from the screen. So much for customer loyalty, their customer service is non existent. Do your self a favour, hurt them the most, by cancelling your subscription, don’t let greed win.

Me my freinds live quite far away and we decided to go to Kennedy centre omniplex I was absolutely disgusted when we arrived straight we were treated with disrespect my freind had been dehydrated decided to get a frozen Fanta when the worker gives my freind her change he asked her what she was watching she then replied with the conjuring before she could even state her age he said NO you don’t look 15 my friend is in fact 16 he then told all the workers we were not 15 even tho that was not true we are 15 honestly I don’t see the point of bringing id to a cinema when it was never mentioned that you should bring id on the website or anything also if we are going to watch a movie in a cinema if we dont get in we will still watch it at home anyway…

i am disgusted me and my friends who live in Kerry trooped all the way up to Belfast were declined access into the cinema. One of the disrespectful workers asked my friend which movie are you watching before she could even open her mouth he declined access even though everyone already bought food they asked us if we wanted to watch another movie and i said we are 15 a woman came over to us and screamed in our face BRING ID next time i am appauled from this behaviour and no one should go to this cinema. The workers should be sacked right away!!! Who brings ID to cinemas workers should wise up. Not one of us will show our faces at Kennedy centre cinema again

The workers immediately judged how old me and my friends were , one worker asked what we were going to see and before i even finished my sentence he says "no , you dont look fifteen" which I AM , WHO is bringing id to a FLIPPING omniplex cinema in KENNEDY centre. WHOOO????
Extremely Disappointed Long-Term Customer
I have been a loyal customer for over three years, and I am extremely disappointed with the way recent changes have been handled. This year, ticket prices were increased, and then, almost immediately, additional charges were added for cinema seats. It feels unfair, excessive, and completely disrespectful to loyal customers, like a “Ryanair-style” approach that puts profit over people.
As a result, I canceled my OmniPass, a decision I never imagined I would make after supporting Omniplex for so long. What is even more upsetting is that, after my cancellation, no one reached out to discuss the situation, offer a solution, or even acknowledge my loyalty. It feels as though loyal customers are ignored and undervalued, which is deeply disappointing.
I hope you take this feedback seriously. Loyal customers matter, and I urge you to find ways to respect and retain them rather than pushing them away.
I almost respect how much they hate customers
Extortionate prices, I understand businesses need to make a profit and times are tough for cinemas but this is surely the nail in the coffin. When I made my Omnipass subscription, it was 18 euro a month. Then the Omniplex cinema I used to go to did refurbishments that meant it was difficult to watch a film on weekdays because so many screens were closed for construction purposes for months on end. Then they passed off these refurbishments and 'improved seating' as a way of charging far more for seats (some are now as expensive as 16 euro for one seat). They have far fewer seats in some screens now and you don't even get your own cupholder, you share a flimsy little circle they're trying to pass off as a table with the people next to you. Then they added a 1 euro charge to bookings (even with the Omnipass). I went this week and they increased that charge to 2 euro. So if I buy a ticket for 2 movies a month at their current extortionate rates in my preferred seating area, I will only be paying slightly more than what I'm being charged as an Omnipass user (26 euro vs 22 euro). Dreadful changes, will never return.
Insanely rude customer service
Insanely rude customer service. So disgraceful. So incredibly rude to us 16 year olds. We went to watch the conjuring and they asked us for id when it was never mentioned we need it and we have gone to their 16 rated movies beforehand without being asked for id. They told us to get out of their face, they don't care and it's not their problem when it was them in the wrong who never told us to bring id? It was a late screened movie and we were unable to get a hold of our parents to send a passport picture. So disappointed with how they handled the situation and disrespected us young girls as grown women and men. Another situation happened but was worse aswell. Will never be returning after this experience.

Dynamic Pricing Is A Failure and Robbery
Cancelled my subscription today along with my partner's as it was costing us more to see a movie than it was costing in our other local cinema in Drogheda. Absolutely robbery! We got great seats in the ARC cinema for 12e while similar seat in the Omniplex was closer to 14e. On top of our monthly subscription. Not a hope! Beautiful cinema but not worth it. Omniplex a big failure by you.
