Disgusting exploitation of migrant workers and total breach of uk laws

Title: Disgusting exploitation of migrant workers and total breach of UK lawsOmni Facilities Management Ltd is an unethical company that systematically exploits migrant and foreign workers. They deliberately target immigrants because they believe language barriers will prevent them from fighting back. They treat staff like modern-day disposable slaves. They routinely withhold wages and money when workers are sick, leaving vulnerable families with zero income for rent or food. On top of that, wage theft is a daily reality with constant missing hours on payslips. They do not answer emails or phone calls from employees who demand their rights. HMRC is already investigating their non-compliance. Avoid doing business with this company.

Unprofessional Management and Unpaid Training Period

Avoid at all costs. New agency workers are given unrealistic workloads from day one with very little support or proper training. Management constantly pressures staff about work speed and performance while paying minimum wage. I was also not paid for my training during the first month. The environment feels stressful, unfair, and unprofessional toward employees.

Just awful and very unprofessional company without any respect for their employees. They treat employees like trash and use them a lot!! Salary to compare with work is shit. Proper gaslighting and mobbing there. Anything happening is always your fault.

Mobbing at Omni

Omni Group Company accepts and supports mobbing at place of work on daily basis.
All the company is worrying about is the financial profit
That’s the company politics so they’d push their employees without any consideration of their needs.
If you dare mention your concerns they will surely get rid of you and they will plot against you.
I had my hours reduced from 5 working days to 1.
My manager claims it was due to low productivity and that this is a common practice and it will apply to every employee if needed
Still I was the only employee being treated in such way
Also I found out from one of the supervisor that our deputy head announced on the group chat that she will drastically reduce the amount of rooms given to me to clean because on couple of occasions I left a room behind and went home
I only left a room behind because I already exceeded my working time on that particular day so I spend 8.5h at work and I really had to go as my new fridge was arriving.
I was usually given rooms to clean selected just for me so all departures as it was on that day
We only have 25 min per room so if all your rooms are departures so all linen to be changed it is difficult to keep up
So I had my rooms reduced first and then days.
I’m really surprised that no one yet sued that company for discrimination

My recommendation company

Hi, my name is Maryna, I work at the Parliament House Hotel in Edinburgh (started in September 2022). I combine study with work, so the company is always good in terms of work schedule, attitude and support. In our hotel, Supervisor Agnieszka and Manager Stephen conduct interesting trainings, constantly motivate employees. Our team is friendly, everyone helps each other. The company also gives gifts to all employees for the New Year and a professional holiday, which is very nice. During this time, I brought three girls to work in the company. Because I know that the company is responsible, reliable, there are no problems with wages. I see people write bad reviews, but remember it all depends on you! If you treat your work responsibly, then the work will respond to you. Good luck.

review

Good day. I have been working for this company for two years. I really like working here. Great team. Fair management. Good attitude towards employees. I would also like to thank my supervisor Agnieszka for her excellent attitude towards her team at the Parliament Hotel. She always gives advice, always understands the situation of the employees. I am happy with this company.

Avoid this company

I have worked for them for few years more than ten years ago. They terminated me after few years, due to my health issue. I had to call sick, because I was not able to move when I had menstrual pain, I had tumor. But they still sucked me. Now I am about to find a job, and I have applied in hotels go get a job. Those hotels which could be good for me because of transport, those are OMNI. They rejected me. The HR emailed me, that there are 108 hotels in Manchester, so go and find a job because OMNI won't take me back after ten years. This sounds a bit like discrimination to me. They still judge me after ten years. I do understand if I was a criminal and they won't take me back, but about the sickness I don't understand. My health is good now, and the HR treat me like a rubbish in the email. After this better if I will be jobless than I work for them again.

0 stars! They are a 0 contract cleaning agency that exploits there own cleaners to slavery in the hospitality trade, they expect staff to clean 2x hotel rooms in 1hr for £10.30hr, if you don't they pay you for the rooms you do only meaning £5.15 per room! They expect 12 or more rooms to be cleaned during a 6hr shift with no over time pay.
Cant believe that this company is getting away with slavery, and the pays never the same its underpaid.
Hotels really need to end there contracts with this agency and think about hiring they own staff.
Would not recommend this slavery company to anyone.
They mislead there employees and treat them like they on a 40hr contract without there consent when it suits the hotels demands and managment in order to not loose there contract with the hotel so over load the housekeeping staff heavily redulting in Distress
