Amazing for shoppers but not sellers
The shop is beautiful, and the people that work there are lovely. That rating would be 5/5 as a shopper, but my rating is based on renting a stand.
Firstly, its a lot of work, sorting, updating the database with the clothing details, then putting up all the clothes yourself with the label gun and size markers. I believe the cost was a little high for 3 weeks and then they take a percentage as well. In the end, we basically paid them 250 kr. Two separate times from different workers said "We do not usually sell clothes like that here" - that would have been really helpful from the start.
I get that because when I would sell clothes in North America, they would choose which pieces they wanted and then either you were paid for it then and there, or you got paid once it was sold.
This business model feels like its much more beneficial for the shop than the seller. But it is was also said several times "it is rare people lose money with a stand" -- unfortunately, I guess we are one of them.
But again, its an amazing shop with beautiful items to buy and great staff.
2/5 is not a great review I know and I always want to support local shops, but I had to be honest. It was way too much work to lose money.
