Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 77 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers were dissatisfied with the products received, highlighting issues with quality, as items often arrived as cheap, synthetic materials rather than the advertised knitted or woolen goods. Reviewers also felt the prices were too high for the poor quality of the items, with some comparing them to much cheaper alternatives found on other platforms. Customers frequently reported that the items did not match the descriptions or images on the website, leading to significant disappointment. The return policy was a major point of frustration, as people found it difficult to return items, often being required to ship them to China at their own expense, despite the company appearing to be UK-based. Reviewers also expressed dissatisfaction with the website itself, noting that it was misleading about the company's location and the quality of its products.

Do not use this company!

Do not use this company!! It's all a complete scam! They show pictures of quantity knitted jumpers, but what they actually do is send cheap crap from China and then offer you a partial refund, which they expect you'll go for as returns have to go back to China!

Olivia and Ivy Scam

Olivia and Ivy are not a british based company as advertised, they are based in a block of flats in China. The pictures of their products do not match what they send in look or quality. Do not order from them it is a scam, you can buy the products from TEMU and find the photos from other websites.

This company is a disgrace

This company is a disgrace. Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews first and I fell for their advert on social media.
As so many people have said the garment they sent was unbelievably bad. The quality of the material is so poor.
Their returns procedure is designed to put you off. Well congratulations it worked as I will not be spending any more money trying to get a refund out of them. I will write off the £35 I spent on junk as a lesson well learned.
Trading Standards should be involved.

Item not as illustrated

The Olivia and Ivy advert appeared on facebook, the illustration clearly showing a beautiful knitted jumper with wildlife animals on it which I thought would be a perfect xmas gift for my wife. I ordered it at the special discount 50%, the price being £49.99. When it arrived I was quite shocked as it turned out to a thin printed top that was quite poor quality and certainly nothing like the image. I contacted customer services to return the item and was advised that it would have to be returned to China at my own expense and was advised that this could be more expensive than the item. I looked into the cost and it worked out to approx £12.00 so I asked for the return address....they came back and offered a refund of 10% and so started a too and fro of emails until they offered me 50% refund which I accepted. I cannot fault the customer services response but sadly the whole thing is set up so you just give up and lose your money..its a con.....However this has been a lesson for me not to trust any advert no matter how legit it looks...My takeaways are: Check Trust Pilot, read the advert details thoroughly, check the returns policy in detail as they are not up front with where the items have to be sent to. I have looked at several other items on various sites including facebook and they seem to be all the same. I will be sticking to the tried and trusted from now on.....I hope this helps.

Disgraceful - but this may help!

Ordered a jumper - complete rubbish - same as everyone else. They used their masterstroke - I could have a refund if I paid for item to be returned to China. Important to note that where an item is not as described the seller is reponsible for return postage costs. I pointed this out to them three times (they ignored) but the did raise their initial offer from 20% to 50% without the need to return the item.

There are remedies available via your Bank and credit card provided - search Chargeback vs Section 75 and it will tell you how to proceed.

I have also reported to Trading Standards and would encourage everyone to do similarly.

I would have given them no star if all possible. They’re scammers!!!! Bought a beautiful jumper and was sent a cheap nylon top. Knew after 1 week that it was coming from China but when asked to cancel they said it had been sent. DO NOT BUY

Another Facebook shop scam - AVOID

As others have stated, this is a scam website claiming to be a high quality uk website that are closing down. In actual fact it’s cheap tat from China, poor quality and overpriced.
Facebook advertising at its worst. My mum, for some reason, made three orders and wants to send it all back. I’ve tried over the years to convince her not to buy 💩 from Facebook as they’re usually scams but she’s got caught again.

Facebook should also be held accountable.

Left with one poor quality top for £200

Spent £200 in an uncharacteristic pre-Xmas internet shopping splurge, drawn in by the lovely knitted jumpers that I saw advertised. Items were split into two parcels. One parcel never arrived but Royal Mail uploaded photo of different parcel they delivered at the same time so I have no recourse. Second parcel that arrived a few days later contains shoes that don’t look like the photos and don’t fit. When I requested return address, they told me it would cost £25. So essentially I’ve spent £200 for one poor quality top. Feel very annoyed and wish I had checked here first. Note to self: don’t internet shop having drunk most of a bottle of wine….

Complete scam. Stay well clear

Total scam. Should have read reviews but website looks like a high end Manchester based fashion outlet and it was Christmas so my guard was down.

What eventually arrived was cheap, nasty, smelly and went in the bin straight away. Absolutely nothing like what is shown on the website.

Awful cheap printed nylon fabric. Not the lovely knitted top that was pictured. I got scammed. Reported to AMEX and if I get my money back, great but hopefully others will stay well clear!!

SCAM SITE - Chineese Importer of Low Quality Goods

This site is a SCAM. They are shipping low quality rubbish direct from China. I was juped by their fancy Instagam marketing.

They will do everything they can to try and prevent you retuning the item. Hopefully you paid by credit card and can initiate a charge back.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID - SCAM COMPANY. Products are not representative of items in the pictures. Cheap nylon tat from China. Make a claim through your credit card company if you are unlucky enough to be duped but are lucky enough to have paid on your credit card.

Rubbish sweater looks nothing like…

Rubbish sweater looks nothing like photo, shipped from China after 3 weeks! Nothing to do with Manchester. Not a 20 something year old company. Very new domain name. You have to pay shipping to China if you want to return item. Complete scam.

Do not use under any circumstances!!

My boyfriend ordered me what was clearly a lovely knitted woolen/cotton jumper in the picture - no doubt about it. What arrived was, as others have said, polyester, cheap and unwearable crap. The neck hole was far too small so I can't even wear it to do the garden! Avoid like the plague!! Kicking myself as I usually always check reviews on Trust Pilot first but their website looked so convining including established in Manchester. Currently trying to get a refund but having read other reviews I guess I may be disappointed. Label gives a London address for returns but, again, others have said it needs to be returned to China. I am absolutely furious with myself and really don't understand how this can be legal and allowed. £50 down the drain. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company. My husband was duped by the company name and the quality looking clothing. Saw a jumper he thought id like. Paid £50!!! It took a while to arrive which alerted him to the fact this wasnt actually a British company as was led to believe. This crap is no better....actually worse than a £5 top from temu. Awful cheap nylon fabric. Not the lovely knitted top that was pictured.
Lesson learnt. Please read reviews before you order from any websire. From what I see theres no point trying to return to get a refund. Dont be duped like my husband!!
Absolute trash vile disgusting products and company!!!

Very disappointed with this top

Very disappointed with this top. Very badly made, poor quality material, can't return without paying an extortionate amount and took ages to come from China. Wouldn't touch with a barge pole.
