Do not buy from them unless you are…

Do not buy from them unless you are 100% sure because you have to return the merchandise to China at your own experience. Shame on me for not realizing that even though the title of the company says New York I didn’t realize I would be dealing with China. Lesson learned for me.

Buyer beware!

I saw an ad on Instagram from OliverCelineNewYork and I ordered a size 5.5 sneakers. When they arrived the are 2 inches too big. The shoes also smelled toxic. When I contacted them for a return asked for pictures of the size tag. The tag says 37. Their reply was that the sizing is accurate and if I want to return them I have to pay for shipping to Asia. The package came from Vernon, Calif. and part of the company’s name is New York so I asked for an address in the US and they just keep saying I have to pay for shipping to Asia or I can get 15% off my order and keep the shoes which I would not accept. Buyer beware!!

Fraudulent Online Store - Stay Away

When I saw their Facebook promo, they advertised as “store closing at midnight - special deals”. Their ‘about us’ page said they been in business for 30+ yrs and they were sad to be closing their doors. Their merchandise looked beautiful. Soon after I ordered, I saw a similar Facebook ad for Susan’s Sweaters of Colorado. Same store closing story. I checked online reviews and knew I’d been scammed. When I got my sweaters in about 2 weeks, they were very poor quality and did not match what is shown on the website; colors and patterns. I emailed the company and they asked for pictures. I sent them and the replied that “they were exactly what is shown on the website” and if I didn’t like them, I’d have to pay return shipping to China. I have filed a dispute with my credit card. I’ve noticed their website no longer has the fake “store closing at midnight” announcement.
