Olive and Barr were recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad I used them. My new kitchen is beautiful and I cannot fault any part of my experience. Every member of the team (from design, Ops Management, installation and painting) was excellent. Could not be happier with the final product. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Great experience from start to finish! James was very helpful, gave good advice and more importantly stuck to the timetable agreed.

The design team at Olive and Barr were so helpful in making our dream kitchen come to life, they made certain that the space we had was maximised and the design exceeded our expectations. From design to installation we felt informed, listened to and supported. Our new kitchen has been life changing for us, we love to cook and the space works beautifully for entertaining. The specification of the cabinet work is beautiful and the finish to exactly the colour we wanted.

There are a lot of companies out there selling shaker kitchens, but I fail to see how any of them can do it as well as Olive and Barr do.
The whole process works seamlessly.
The designers (ours was Nicolle) are talented and patient and come up with ideas I would have not thought of. There's no hard sell, just an attempt to ensure that the design was right for us.
The communication during the site visit and build stage is good and they seem to employ a number of genuinely friendly and helpful people in every department (Guy and Jane).
Finally the installers (Vlad) and furniture painters (Sophie) are highly skilled and seem to really care about delivering a top notch finish, which they achieve effortlessly.
The kitchen itself is amazing quality. It really is a thing of beauty. Cost wise, it was not expensive compared to other companies out there doing a similar thing and we like the fact it is made in the UK.
We now have the most beautiful, bespoke hand painted kitchen that will last a generation.

James and Rachel did such a fantastic job with my kitchen. Everything from helping guide me through designing my kitchen, picking colours & styles and final installation was all done with such care.

My builder messed up the installation and the Olive and Barr team came out to fix it - I wish I had hired them from the start as they did SUCH an amazing job!

Nicolle was so lovely and created the most wonderful kitchen. I am delighted with it. She was great to work with and so diligent and patient dealing with all my queries and changes!! Jane was super efficient at dealing with the ops side and everything happened as and when she said it would pretty much, which was quite a feat. First and foremost, the kitchen looks stunning! The build quality and attention to detail is excellent, and through a great early consultation process, everything is in the right place and works as it should.

I would like to personally thank Nicolle for helping us design our dream kitchen. Nicolle is an absolute pleasure to work with, as well as being patient, honest and inspirational. We could not have done this without you Nicolle! Secondly to Jane, who has been supportive and responsive throughout - we always knew what was happening and when, and any issues were dealt with quickly and fairly. Finally, Vlad and his team of kitchen fitters, proper craftsmen who clearly care about their craft and are rightfully proud of their work.

We looked at a lot of different company's in our search for the perfect kitchen, and we could not be happier that we chose Olive & Barr, and would unequivocally recommend them to anyone looking for a quality shaker kitchen.

I had spent quite a time reading about Olive & Barr and other makers of shaker kitchens. I chose Olive & Barr as the quality seemed excellent and the price nowhere near the top of the scale.
I went to view at the London showroom and, following that visit, felt even more confident that an Olive & Barr kitchen represented high quality in an affordable price range.
I must thank Lisa for the excellent design, advice and customer service; answering my many questions and responding to my changes of mind.
The kitchen is small but beautiful and much admired by friends and family.
There are always ‘snagging’ issues with any project but I have been so impressed by James and the team’s response.
The final product is an even better quality of craftsmanship and design than I had imagined possible.

The service from Olive & Barr from start to finish has been fantastic! James was our designer and spent time understanding our requirements and visiting our home (despite the fact we live in Yorkshire!) This has resulted in a beautiful, functional and high quality kitchen which we are delighted with. It’s now the centre of the home and we have had lots of lovely comments on our kitchen from family and friends! The draws and cupboards are a really high quality and the fitting experience was seamless. We had Max as our installer, who was simply brilliant! Max also came to revisit us to solve a few settling in changes and ‘extras’ which we noticed and asked for after we’d been using the kitchen for a few weeks.

Whilst we were planning our kitchen we also had a kitchen design and consultation with Neptune, but ultimately there was no difference in the quality of the kitchens. We visited one of the O&B showrooms to see the product in person which was really helpful. We chose Olive & Barr for a few reasons - we preferred the fact the kitchen would be made in the UK, we had more flexibility to create bespoke cabinet sizes/designs (the price shot up for anything bespoke with Neptune) and overall the service from O&B felt much more personal.

Thank you to all the team for helping us with what we know will be our long lasting family kitchen.

These people can't even keep to arranged consultation phone calls. I don't want to use unreliable companies so this will probably prove to be a blessing in disguise - especially after reading some of the unfavourable reviews.

We bought an Olive and Barr kitchen and love it. The quality is fantastic and the team behind the company are so helpful and professional. We did have 1 or 2 minor blips but this is only to be expected during such a project. The most important thing is how a company responds and Olive and Barr stood up and acted professionally and quickly. My wife and I could not recommend them enough. Lovely people to do business with and a fantastic product and made in Britain.
